Second, the background is too dark. Background should be pastel or lighter and the text should be dark like you have it.

The only issue I have with making it a bright background is that the text is more difficult to see in a brighter background because of it's transparency. Though I can try to mess with the coloring of the text.

I love the creativity, and you should definitely use whatever code you like, just as long as readability isn't sacrificed ^^

Yeah I am going to agree with Purize here... Please no using the BB code in IC... its more of a distraction and makes it hard to read which can take away from the story. My eyes are bad enough as it is. Also this is just a personal grievance and I am only airing this to make my opinion known: this is ultimately up to silver. The way we have RP'd so far has been done with a lot of respect and consideration for others, and not just taking the reigns on the plot and steering it whatever direction you please. It would be a lot more considerate in the future if you at least asked the rest of us before just having an event as monumental as bringing the spiders back in for a second attack: We were all getting ready to move the plot forward and time skip so as to maintain the momentum of the RP and this kinda lashes back into place.

Thats just it though, it completely throws what we had been planning for several days now out the window. How many times are we going to fight this specific hoard of spiders before we can move forward?

I just think as a basic courtesy there should be some notice before a that introduces that. If we throw all formality aside, the plot will start to be pulled back and forth between different participants.
