Realistic or Modern Be Ready For Me

He nodded and watched her a little, resting his head back and frowned "My chest is still aching after all that." He muttered, "I need lovin'." He told her and reached for her again.

Max closed up her laptop and moved to lay back with him gently rubbing at his chest "You gotta take care of yourself mister. No more getting like this when I'm gone." She teased before kissing him gently

“I do take care of myself. I’m always careful when I go spend time with Tracy and I’m careful when I spend time with you and when I’m workin. It just happens sometimes. It’s probably the cold.” He mumbled frowning seeing how miffed she seemed “what’s wrong now?” He asked her no thinking twice about the fact that he had yet to explain to her what Tracy was

Max frowned and gave a small scoff when he mentioned Tracy yet again. He'd been mentioning spending so much time with whoever it was that it was starting to get to her. "Who the hell is Tracy? You spend an awful a lot of time with her." She said in a bitter tone.

He turned and looked at her frowning before the penny dropped and he grinned. “Oh baby… give me my phone…. I’m serious babe my phone. Please.” He told her, waiting til she handed it to him and he opened up his photos to show her, “here. This is Tracy. The third most important woman in my life.” He told her happily showing her the photos of him with his car.

Max looked over the car and felt an embarrassed blush spread across her cheeks "Oh....she's your race car....that makes a lot more sense now." She said giving a small laugh feeling a bit silly now for getting jealous.

He smiled as he watched her and nodded. “I’m sorry, I just assumed you knew cause I said I was seeing her at races.” He told her quietly. “You were jealous huh?” He smiled, reaching up and cupping her cheek.

Max shook her head some and tried to hide her face "What? No! I'm not jealous." She said trying to sound convincing but she knew it was no use.

He smiled and watched her. “Look at me. Honey you think I got eyes for any other girl? At all? Ever again?” He smiled. “I told you when I met you the first time that you were my girl. And I meant that.” He told her happily.

Max gave a small smile and pulled him close kissing him lovingly "I love you, I love you, I love you." She murmured against his lips smiling a bit wider now.

He smiled and just held onto her. “Mmm love you too beautiful.” He murmured, closing his eyes and frowning. “My heads starting to hurt. Think I need a nap.” He mumbled, playing with her hand while he let himself start to drift off

By the next afternoon he was back at home happily cuddling his cats while Max cooked them some lunch. She smiled softly at him as he came into the kitchen holding one of his cats "Hey you feeling okay?" She asked still worried that he could have another attack.

He nodded tiredly and wrapped his arm around her with his free side. “Mmm feeling alright beautiful. I wanted to come ask cause I’m just rebooking my flights to Utah, you wanna go?” He asked he r

Max bit her lip and gave a small sigh "No, no I don't want to get in anyone's way. This is for you and I don't want you worrying about me being there too." She murmured as she leant her head on his chest

He frowned and kissed her head. “You sure? Elizabeth said you were more than welcome to join.” He told her, “what do you wanna watch tonight?” He asked her getting ready to go get it set up on the tv in his room.

Max gave a small nod and smiled some "Yeah I'm sure, how about we watch some Bones? Something we don't have to pay too much attention to." She murmured as she turned off the stove and went to grab plates for the two of them.

He nodded and set dusti down to go get the tv set up then came back to grab them drinks and sent a text to the group chat that he would do their dishes right after they ate before disappearing to his room with her

Max came in with their plates and sat down with him smiling some "You know, I've been seeing a lot of houses pop up for sale recently. Maybe we could look at some if you want?" She suggested as he came to sit with her.

He smiled and nodded. “We can do that. I’ve emailed you my most recent schedule by the way.” He told her. “Put it on the shared calendar already as well as a just in case.” He murmured. They’d been working at finding ways to make sure they were on the same page a lot easier now.

Max smiled some and nodded "Oh thank you, I need to put mine up when I get it tomorrow." She said before pecking his cheek "Oh goodness do you want to hear what my mom has done? She has gone and told her friends about you, all good things of course. She told them you were a theater actor though." She said laughing some "Like you do musicals. I guess she remembered me saying you did film stuff back when we were first together and now that you're a singer she guessed it was in theater."

He frowned and looked at her a little confused. “That’s uh… oh… are you gonna warn her that that’s not it at all?” He chuckled, tucking into the food. “Oh I missed your cookin babe.” He told her, a little nervous about meeting her family in a couple days but knowing it was more than overdue by this point.

Max giggled some and gave a small shrug "I dunno, I think its pretty funny that she thinks you sing musicals." She teased before starting to eat as well "I'm sure she'll realize once she sees you that you're definitely not in theater. Last time I showed her a photo of you, you didn't have the neck tats."

He chuckled a little nervously. “Long as they don’t kick me out.” He told her. “What should I take them?” He asked her. “To be a good house guest.” He adjusted his position, having to move Bobbi away from him so he couldn’t steal wills dinner.

Max smiled happily at him and shook her head "Don't worry they'll love you. All you need to bring is yourself okay? No need for gifts." She said sweetly before kissing his cheek

“Alright but if they mention it in telling them you said no gifts.” He winked at her, finishing off dinner with her and took both their plates to the kitchen to do the dishes, leaving her curled up in his bed and looking to Matt, his other roommate when he came in the kitchen. “Hey. How you doing man?”
