Carmen had just finished up with her only client of the day and gone to treat herself to some lunch before heading home. She was doing surprisingly well and had spent the last six months trying to keep herself busy. Noah had ended up buying her half of the house from her which had saved a lot of the hassle of having to sell together and she was in a rented house about an hour away from him now so she didn't risk bumping into him all the time. She had thought about moving back to New Jersey but she had a life in LA now and she didn't want to leave it all behind. She had just turned the corner to go to her favorite coffee place when she finally looked up and saw him stood there, having to stop in her footsteps for a moment before continuing on, planning to walk right by until she caught him look up and they made direct eye contact.
Will was sat up when her and Maya arrived, smiling a little as she was immediately scrambling to get up on the bed, wrapping his arms around her as much as he could, "Have you and Mommy come to break me out of here?" He asked her, smiling as she nodded, looking up at Max and winking at her "How's little man behivaing?" He asked her, slowly moving so he was sat on the edge of the bed. This time round had kicked his ass and even now he was working at getting back to 100%, just forever grateful that he had at least survived. "You okay?" He asked her frowning a little.
