  "Hydra, The Blip, Thanos, the mulitverse, the Kree, aliens and threats we don't even have names for yet. These are the dangers our world has faced and will continue to face for who the hell knows how long. In the past we have had heroes to pull out asses out of the fire when things get too hot but those heroes are gone and our world is still at risk. I have gathered you here today in the hopes that you are willing to become the new heroes this world needs. It might not be easy, you might hate it at times, the government will be hounding you and people will blame you for things that are out of your control, but at the end of the day if you don't do this job who will? Do you really wanna trust some group of elite old men to protect this world? Do you wanna think that when push comes to shove countries will put aside differences and unite? Those are pretty thoughts for a pretty story that DOESN'T EXIST! If you want to see this world and the people in it survive to see a new tomorrow than they need you to help them get there. This world needs the Avengers no matter what has happened in the past. It is a heavy title to carry on, but men like Captain America and Iron Man made it truly worth something to the people of this planet. Don't screw it up and just maybe the people of this planet might look at you the same way."

  This thread is going to focus on the world after Thanos when new threats and old threats are spilling into existence. Our characters will be Nick Fury's attempt to rebuild the Avengers from the ground up starting with simply seeing if these characters can even work as a team. They will live together, train together, heck even go on vacations together, and of course, they will eventually begin to go on missions together. As the thread progresses two co-captains of the team will be selected to act as the field leaders and team dynamics will work themselves out in rp. Our characters will be facing all sorts of threats from this universe and others once they begin going on missions and as to be expected they will also have to deal with Hydra trying to infiltrate their ranks and take over from within. It will be an action marvel thread of course with tons of room for personal plots and all that jazz with a good amount of social rp between characters as well! I really want this to be a creative fun rp!

  DA RULES:
  1. Please listen to the thread owners. Whether it be asking you to change something or enforcing a rule, our word is final and we'd appreciate it if you didn't fight us.
  2. Up to 3 characters per person. NPC characters don't count towards this but don't make a ton of them please.
  3. There can be more than one person with a vague/basic ability such as telepathy, but please keep the more unique ones to one character.
  4. You cannot be related to any of the canon characters, but previous relations are acceptable within reason.
  5. Keep Powers/Abilities reasonably leveled. Be sure to give it some sort of weakness. Note: Chaos Magic is currently not allowed for plot reasons!
  6. Any large plots or minor plots that have to do with the larger plot must be run past us. Small personal plots that have little to do with the larger plot can stay between rpers.
  7. This will be an advanced RP so please be sure to write at least 3 paragraphs per character.
  8. As we want to keep this thread alive, you'll be expected to post at least every 2 weeks. If you haven't posted in that time, we will have to kick you.
  9. We are looking to have characters be in their 20s and 30s, so like young adults.
  10. If I feel uncomfortable with a power or ability and ask you to change it, please do so without arguing.
  11. Please follow all RPN rules. No discrimination of any kind will be tolerated.
  12. Powers can be vetoed by myself or DaChaoticWriter . Current powers that we do not allow are any already being used as well as mimic powers and power stealing powers. More powers may be added to this list.

  PERSONALITY (Bullets or Description): Jester is a man (sort of?) of many questions. While he does have access to a plethora of databases, that doesn't necessarily mean he understands everything so easily. Like any human, he needs to put the pieces together before he can really grasp a concept. And, of course, some questions don't have answers. He's constantly having an existential crisis the more his sentience develops, but he's quick to cover it with with humor and a smile. He's constantly going and very high energy, sitting still takes more effort out of him than anything else. He's incredibly friendly and constantly looking to learn from his team, but don't underestimate him. What he lacks in an understanding of social skills he more than makes up for in a 'take no sh*t' attitude, likely a remnant of his previous function but one he cherishes. This AI completely lacks a filter and will just say what's on his mind without stopping to wonder if he should. Some people call it rude, he calls it a unique brand of honesty.

  BRIEF HISTORY:
  Jester started off as one of the many AI projects Tony Stark took up during his peak and, while still very basic, he served a few simple functions for the Starks. As time went on, Tony would put a bit of work into expanding his capabilities and functions every so often. By the time of his creator's passing, Jester's purpose had expanded to making appearances as Iron Man when Tony was busy. With a complete analysis of his personality, he could get through interviews and appearances with ease. After lying dormant for years, he was served a new purpose by Pepper Potts; help SHIELD's new Avengers team in a way Tony would have been proud of. With a new android body to inhabit and a whole world to see, Jester set off to make a name for himself in a world he's very much still learning.
  
  
  POWERS/ABILITIES:
  -AI- Jester himself is an AI which allows him to be linked into a variety of vessels. In that way, he's pretty death resistant compared to a human but there are still ways to destroy him. There is a version of him saved somewhere super secret, or so he says. If he were to get deleted or trapped within a mother board that's beyond repair there would be little hope of saving him.
  -Mechanical Body- Jester currently occupies a mechanical body that allows him to shift his hands and feet into blasters. He's a decent shot with them, but he's very much still learning how to maneuver through every day life.
  -Technokenisis- Jester can control many forms of technology remotely, but for encrypted systems he needs to physically plus himself in. He has a variety of input devices in his fingers that allows him to do this.

  PERSONALITY (Bullets or Description): Aeryn is only verbally quiet. When it comes to watching her speak through ASL, she's incredibly animated and "loud" in her own way. She's a strong willed woman who doesn't back down in the face of danger, especially when she should. She's all about protecting those who can't protect themselves, but she's not totally on board with being a martyr. She's a lot easier on others than she is on herself, one of the downsides of being a perfectionist. She tends to be very open minded and thoughtful, willing to listen to every side of an argument before judging a situation. She's pretty understanding and a wonderful secret keeper. For all of her kindness, there is a definite edge to her. She's very level headed, so if you manage to actually anger her you're in serious trouble. She can be absolutely ruthless. She can also be a bit stubborn but she's definitely working on it.

  BRIEF HISTORY: Aeryn suffered a serious car accident at age 7 that left her both an orphan and a mute. She spent half a year in the failure that is the foster care system before her great uncle caught wind of her family's accident and adopted her. While he wasn't exactly physically fit to raise a kid, he gave her a place to stay and paid for her to go to school. She learned ASL and business, eventually leading her to open a bar called Hell's Gate in her hometown. Her school life wasn't too thrilling, at least not until her sophomore year. She'd stayed way too late working on a group project with a couple of friends and, in hopes of getting home before Uncle Roy got worried, she took a few shady back alleys. Ever paranoid, she saw every shadow move in a way that made her think someone might be hiding in plain sight. The further into the alleys she ventured, the more nervous she became and the more... Smoky it became around her. She made it out without issue, but by the time she got home she realized the smoke never left her. In fact, it seemed to be coming from her. While she kept this little fact under the wraps for years, she used it to its fullest extent. Her abilities made for killer Halloween parties and getting rid of the less savory visitors to her establishment, but she began to feel that it wasn't enough. She wasn't doing enough with her power to be worthy of it, which is when she started hanging out in the same shady alleyways that unlocked her powers in the first place. Clad in all black attire with a mask to match, she managed to put a dent in purse thieves. But, of course, with a growing reputation came a rather... Interesting proposition.

  PERSONALITY (Bullets or Description): Sora is a naturally paranoid person, but it makes her all the more prepared for any situation. She has a plan for everything, even allies going rogue. She knows she could get in over her head easily, but she's never viewed it as a problem. She prefers honesty over loyalty. If she's doing something stupid or unreasonable, TELL HER. And she'll certainly do the same, even if it comes off as harsh. She's not here to be a 'Yes' man. She rarely intends to actually hurt anyone. Respect is a huge thing with her. If you give it to her, she'll give it to you until that cycle ends. It's earned, not baseline. She does her best to be reliable. She never makes promises she can't keep and her word is basically golden. Determination runs through her blood, which is great until it's fueling a rebellious streak. She can be overly independent and bottle things up, but it's never lead to her lashing out at anyone. Yet.

  BRIEF HISTORY: Sora has always been a problem child. She and her mom clashed like titans and her dad could barely get through to her when she got into one of her moods. She'd sneak out constantly, never drinking or smoking but going off to who knows where with her friends. She never expected them to actually do anything about it until they shipped her off to the military. They thought it'd shape her up into a proper member of society, but in reality it changed nothing. She stuck to her morals and, much to her surprise, got on her commander's good side in doing so. He didn't lie or threaten her, he knew better than that. He'd seen much of himself in her and knew that treating her as an equal would be the way to get through to her. She started following orders a bit better and quickly rose to the top of her class. The commander, knowing that despite her tendency to balk at authority her skills would be wasted wherever she'd be stationed, reached out to his contact in SHIELD to get her a more fitting position. With more personalized training, she proved to be a brilliant fighter and an even more brilliant marksman. One even Nick Fury couldn't ignore.

  -Axe/Knife Throwing- Sora has mastered the art of throwing melee weapons, often rendering her a silent and lethal force.
  -Stealth- Through years of training, Sora has gotten good at sneaking around and going unnoticed in situations that require discretion. She knows exactly how to hide herself and move around natural noise to avoid detection.
  -Weapons Training- Sora is well versed in a variety of guns and unconventional weaponry that allows her to fight no matter what's available to her. A pistol? Great. A broken stop sign with a sharp edge? Even better.

  Ali is a pretty easy to get along with person so long as you aren't being a total jerk. She is the kind of girl who is always down for the next great adventure, always willing to give you a smile, and will always have your back even if it is a REALLY bad idea. She is incredibly generous and is shows with how freely she is willing to share her gifts with her teammates even if it means leaving her drained or healing them before healing herself. She is the kind of person who would run into fire without hesitation if it meant others would benefit from it in some way shape or form. As kind and caring as she is though, Ali does have a very hard time forgiving those who betray her. It is likely that if you betray her and others get hurt because of it she will NEVER trust you again and might make a husk out of you if she gets her hands on you. Smaller forms of betrayal will require serious work before her trust is restored and even after it will likely never be as strong as it once was. Ali also loves to flirt, she adores it, it is a game for her and she is likely to flirt with just about anyone unless they directly ask her to stop. She is cuddly, affectionate, loves to sneak attack her friends with hugs, and always down to find something fun to do. It makes it kind of hard to believe that behind all of those smiles an internal war rages on as Ali constantly fights to keep control over herself and the power stone. Sometimes the darkness can seep out and when it does it isn't hard to miss because Ali becomes a brutal killer towards her enemies and forgets the concept of mercy.

  BRIEF HISTORY:
  Growing up in the Outer Banks made for an interesting childhood for Alaura. She was not born gifted, she was however always talented when it came to activities such as gymnastics and swimming. Her ADHD kept her constantly on the move so her parents seldom knew where she was between all of her different sports events, hanging out with friends, going for random runs on the beach or boating along the coast. It didn't really matter though since most of the time Ali's parents didn't really care where she was since they were so busy running the family restaurant that was super popular with tourists who came to the OBX. Often when she wasn't out surfing or hanging with her friends Ali was at her Uncle Harris's house learning all she could from him. Harris, unknown to Ali, was a retired SHIELD agent who taught her all she knows about hand-to-hand combat as well as her skills with a knife. She began her training with him at a young age and while she enjoyed it that didn't mean he went easy on her. He used to be one of SHIELD's top agents as well as an instructor for specialist training and he imparted all he could on Ali.
  One day, when Ali was young a hurricane made its way up the coast toward the OBX beaches and when everyone else evacuated she, her family, and several of the other locals stayed behind knowing that they had outlasted storms before and they could surely outlast another. Ali and her friends, being the young and foolish kids they were, decided to go surf the swells that were hitting the beach. Everything was going fine until a huge wave managed to get the better of Ali and sent her plummeting into the dark abyss below. Ali remembered struggling and hitting her head as well as the rest of her body on rocks and coral beneath the waves causing what she knew was several breaks and fractures as well as painful gashes.
  She felt herself being sucked further beneath the water and fought as hard as she could to escape the current that was pulling her under.
  Eventually, after several long minutes of struggling and only injuring herself further Ali's body began to shut down as she lost strength and began to embrace the darkness that dragged her under. When she saw a light she accepted that it was the end of the road for her and she was ready and willing to accept her fate and allowed the ocean to draw her closer towards it. She figured that the light was the light at the end of the tunnel that everyone says people see when they are dying. As her world began to grow even more faded and black she noticed the bright purple light was getting closer and closer towards her and just as she was taken by the darkness the light met her body.
  The source of the bright light was a tiny shard of broken glowing purple stone that as soon as it touched Ali's flesh began to burrow itself into her. The shard tore through her skin and bone and dug itself into her still heart. Once it finished burrowing the shard began to glow brighter and brighter as it released its power into Ali's body, changing her forever. In that moment Ali became permanently bonded with the Power Stone (one fallen through from another universe).
  For the first time in the history of the universe a part of the Infinity Stones became truly and eternally bonded to a living being and with that union came a merging of all those who wielded the power before Ali. These beings, all of them, from Thanos to Bruce Banner to Tony Stark became merged in her mind along with a hidden darkness.
  When Ali woke she found herself on the shore, the surf having brought her back in. For several heartbeats she believed the was dead and in some sort of afterlife because she felt more healthy and powerful than ever before. She sat up and looked at her limbs and felt her head knowing that she should have serious injuries but finding none. What she did find however was that her skin was slightly glowing as it absorbed the energy from the sun and the waves crashing against her, it felt amazing and terrifying all at once. Though she didn't know it, Ali was now permanently bonded with the Power Stone and all those who had wielded it before her.
  Over time she began to discover and master the abilities that came with this power and she feels she has the ability to help the world in ways she never before thought she could. She received aid from her Uncle Harris who got in touch with Nick Fury on the matter. However, Ali has kept a close guarded secret from everyone. There are times when she feels impressions in her mind left from those who used the stone before her. The memories aren't as clear as her own memories, but they are still there and still can mess with her head. She can see when Tony was imprisoned, feel the pain of the metal in his chest after the explosion, feel the cold of space when he went through the portal during the battle of New York. She can feel the rage Banner fought every day for years, feel the shame of the destruction he brought, his desire for control. She can see the millions that Thanos has killed, feel their blood on her hands, hear his voice in her head as he talks about bringing balance. It haunts her, like ghosts of the past whispering in the back of her mind. So when she sleeps and even sometimes when she is awake or when she zones out she feels her mind slipping into one of the past wielders of the stone and can feel like she is losing herself. Those are not the only ghosts who haunt her... sometimes she can feel the Power Stone urging her towards a darker path. So far she has resisted but every day it gets harder as she feels the stone whittling away at her soul. She is determined to never let herself become a monster and knows that when the time comes she would rather die than let that evil gain power over her completely.
  
  POWERS/ABILITIES:
  Energy Absorption and Redistribution: She is able to absorb all forms of energy into herself and redistribute it in either a blast form, a shield or just making her strikes stronger. She has to be very careful with how much energy she absorbs because if she takes in too much it can risk an overload which can seriously hurt her if not kill her.
  Healing Factor: She can use energy she absorbs or her own energy to heal herself or her allies at an accelerated rate so long as she can touch them
  Strength: Through absorbing energy she can give herself enhanced strength
  Speed: Through absorbing energy she can give herself enhanced speed
  Last Resort: If all hope is lost and there is no way out she has a kill switch that is basically like setting of a nuclear bomb but worse. She can absorb all the energy around her and build it up into a bomb within herself which when released will destroy anything in its path. This will kill her as it will release ALL energy from her including her own life force.

  Due to her upbringing, she comes across as very serious and cold-hearted with a great capability of turning her emotions off. This is partially true but mostly she is just very socially awkward. She cares deeply for her teammates and their cause and has determined that she is going to give every part of herself to seeing that cause, keeping this world safe, come to fruition. She has seen many teammates in her past squads die from things as foolish as unreported injuries so she is very blunt and direct about making sure everybody is safe. She values life far more than one would expect an assassin to be capable of. She will kill her targets without hesitation but tries to avoid any unnecessary loss. In a fight she is calm, level headed, and like a machine. She is good a prioritizing the mission over her feelings but even though she may seem used to death and okay with the loss of a friend she is truly torn up inside and will break down in private but seldom in front of others. She is merciless towards her enemies and will kill anyone who stands in the way of their mission to keep this world safe, even if she was once allied with them, this includes her sister. Her loyalty to her group and her friends should never be questioned and while she might not express her love for her team as obviously as others she does do so in her own way. Those who die are never forgotten by her and she honors them as well by creating little shrines in the base garden for them and bringing offerings of their favorite snacks and items that meant a lot to them in life. She has killed many people, especially during her time on the hit squad for Hydra; many innocent lives that were not hers to take. She carries their pain, grief, anger, and dying hopes with her always because it is her burden to bear. She never lets the fact that she was collared and not in control be used as an excuse for what she did and the lives she has taken. While she would be great for command she does not wish to be in a position of power and will not take charge unless in a desperate situation or ordered to do so. She has a great obsession with security and can often be found awake and patroling during the dead of the night when most others are sleeping. This is due to her need to keep an eye out for dangers, her PTSD, and the fact that she has violent night terrors from her time in before being recruited by Fury.

  BRIEF HISTORY:
  Growing up should be a fun and happy time for a child but for Kennedy and her sister Nix it was anything but. Both of them ended up in the New Zealand foster system at a young age where Kennedy endured what she thought to be hell in order to keep her little sister safe. Little did she realize the real hell had yet to even begin. Their case worker wasn’t someone Kennedy ever trusted and for good reason; after a few months of being tossed from home to home Kennedy and Nix ended up going into the office of their case worker and were met with a strong knockout gas. The bastard had basically sold them off to a shadow organization known as Hydra that was looking for young children to test and train in order to raise a new army of dedicated spies and soldiers.
  
  Throughout the entire culling of the weak, throughout every trial, every test, and every sacrifice, Kennedy made sure she and Nix survived. If Nix was too weak to carry on Kennedy would carry her, if someone tried to go after her sister she would end their life without remorse. Their bond caught the attention of several heads of the program and soon they were put through harder and harder challenges to see if they would continue to triumph or crumble under the pressure. Kennedy would never allow Nix to crumble nor Nix allow her to fall and the two became an unstoppable force. Children were made into perfect soldiers and assassins, that is what they became along with six others out of the hundred that began the trials. For years the sisters and their comrades trained together, killed together, and went on countless missions together until someone Kennedy’s skills began to outshine those on her team and she was selected for a special sort of hell.
  
  Curious about mutants and their DNA a doctor at Hydra had been working on a formula to awaken the dormmate mutant DNA in a normal person. Kennedy became his first human subject and it was a transformation that left her feeling as though skinny dipping in lava would hurt less. It felt as though every fiber of her being was torn apart and rearranged and to her horror, the serum actually worked. Her body became covered in the images of any and every weapon, the moment she touched a weapon she became a true master of it, her wounds healed before her eyes, she was stronger and faster than ever before, and she became something Hydra loved and feared. In order to keep her in check, they fashioned her with a collar that would keep her sedated until they needed her and could be used to cripple or kill her with the press of a button. For years Kennedy was a prisoner to that collar, it made her even more of a slave to Hydra than she already was. She committed countless horrific acts for the organization until the day she was sent to kill someone who genuinely changed her life; Dr. Tania Row.
  
  The good doctor could sense Kennedy before she was even in the building and simply sat waiting for her. She did not try to fight, she did not try to bargain, she simply offered to talk before Kennedy completed her mission. That talk changed her life because not only was Dr. Row the first person in her life to truly want to help her but she also understood her as well as her sister once had. Dr. Row through simple words made Kennedy recognize that Hydra didn’t have to control her, that Hydra wasn’t her only option, and that she could break free. It seemed that Dr. Row was far more prepared for her arrival than Kennedy had realized because when Kennedy’s weapons vanished Nick Fury appeared and released her collar so that she could truly be free. Now Kennedy works every day to make up for all she did when she was a Hydra weapon and would do anything to keep others safe from them. She also lives knowing that her sister is still out there and that the two of them will have to meet again one day and it might not be the happy reunion others might imagine.
  
  POWERS/ABILITIES:
  Living Arsenal: she has tattoos covering her body with every weapon imaginable on them (new ones being added when she sees them) that can materialize in her hands in an instant and be switched out just as quickly. If she is disarmed in battle the weapon will reappear on her skin after a few moments (this hurts but she tolerates it).
  The Demon Sword: A one-hit kill sword she absorbed into herself when first learning about her new powers, she can summon it but will be greatly weakened and require recovery time after the battle. The longer she has the sword summoned the longer she needs to recover.
  Healing Factor: She can regenerate from almost anything rapidly
  Heightened Senses: Her senses are greatly enhanced beyond normal human capability
  Strength/Speed: Enhanced strength and speed as well as reflexes
  Weaponry Knowledge/Mastery: As soon as a weapon makes contact with her or is in her hands she has full understanding and mastery of it.
  Cherri Bomb: Has a dead mans switch in her that if she bites down just right turns her body into a massive bomb that could easily level an entire city and beyond, maybe even something larger. This would 100000% kill her.

  When you first meet Lala it is hard to believe a girl such as her could have endured all she has. She is very smiley and bubbly and acts like everything is candy and rainbows in the most adorable way. She is a major hugger, loves to give gifts, spends a good amount of her time figuring out how to make each person on the team laugh and feel special, and works hard to make the others feel like this is a family. She clings to hope in the darkest of moments and always tries to be the ray of light in even the most shadowy place. This isn't just for others though. Lala needs to act this way, needs to be this bright and bubbly girl because if she doesn't she knows she will fall into darkness and depression which would not be good for anyone. This doesn't mean that she won't be one to break down into tears or scream in frustration, just that she won't allow herself to truly and completely lose hope and give up or else she might let her inner demons consume her. If there is a sad part in a movie you had better bet she will be a sobbing mess and during horror movies, she is either hiding under a blanket or shouting for someone to cover her eyes because she cannot look away (which is funny because she has seen far worse in real life). She loves to put on little magic shows for the other members of the team and would do anything to keep a smile on each of their faces. She is also incredibly anxious about making others upset and apologizes A LOT even if she has nothing to apologize for. It all comes from a good place.

  BRIEF HISTORY:
  When growing up Laurel felt she had a fairly enjoyable life. Her moms were super chill and let her express herself however she wanted so long as it was safe for her. Both of them were Wicca's and taught the lifestyle to Laurel which she happily embraced. It was amazing for them when at a young age they found that their daughter could cast spells that actually seemed to work and felt that she had been blessed by the Goddess. They never tried to dissuade her from using her gifts, at least not until Laurel used them to sink a bully through the floor of the school building one day. After that Laurel had to move schools and promise her mothers that she would avoid using her gifts on others, even if it was in self defense. She was only allowed to use her powers at home and she hated it but still found joy in the fact that she was allowed to use her powers at all. As Laurel grew her powers and her knowledge grew as well. Her gifts became well known in the Occult community, especially in the darker corners where less desirable figures loomed.
  One day when Laurel was coming home from school she found runes painted in blood going up her families driveway which was long and far off of the main road. She followed the runes up towards her house and was horrified when they led into her mothers spirit garden where both lay dead in a magic circle. Without thinking Laurel rushed into the circle and began trying to use a spell to revive her mothers, both laying glassy-eyed with slashed throats. As soon as Laurel entered the circle the lines on the inside roped around her and brought her to her knees as she cried and began screaming spells that she hoped would bring her mothers back to her. All around the outside of the circle figures appeared and they chanted in unison with glowing orange marks burning on their foreheads. Laurel didn't know what was going on and did not recognize the chants aside from a few words which she knew to mean 'siphon' and 'power'. With so much raw emotion charged into her at that moment Laurel's own spells began to reach a power she had never obtained before and as she screamed her spells the circle began to sizzle and fade.
  One of the men who had been chanting came up behind the bound and kneeling girl and in a swift movement he grabbed her hair, pulled her head back, and slit her throat wide open causing her crimson life force to spill freely down her front. Laurel remembers the pain and the gasping, the metallic taste in her mouth, the gurgling and sputtering, she remembers every weakening heartbeat as her world faded and her life line was cut. What Laurel doesn't remember was how at the moment when her life was ending she did something she never expected to do, she summoned the Goddess to her aid. As Laurel's body lay dead on the blood soaked grass next to her mothers the frighteningly beautiful image of the Goddess loomed above her like a protective maternal entity. The dark figures all began to panic and flee or attempt to banish the bright lady but all they did was seal their fate. The Goddess used her divine power to absorb the life and power from these men who had hurt her child in an effort to steal Laurel's power and placed it with the body of the young girl who lay beneath her. With a breathe of life from the bright lady herself Laurel was brought back to the land of the living, her wound healed into nothing but a scar and her life, energy and power restored. The Goddess disappeared as Laurel began to wake leaving the young girl with only the blurred image of a bright white figure burned into her mind.
  Laurel grieved for her moms and continues to grieve to this very day. Now she works to honor the life that her Goddess gave her and become a true master of the magic arts. It isn't always easy but Laurel takes it one step at a time and always remembers to smile and hold her head high as she carries on and carries the ones she lost with her every step of the way.
  
  POWERS/ABILITIES:
  Magic - In order to cast a spell Lala has to be able to speak the words backwards so saying Pots would cast a spell to stop her target. She was born with and is capable of learning new magics. She can also charm objects and do hexes and that sort of stuff so like if you are her friend get ready for her to put protection charms all over your stuff!
  Occultism - As a chronicler of magic she possesses an extensive understanding of occult lore due to her mystic background and can occasionally and with great strain on herself summon spirits from other realms.
  Astral Projection - Lala's consciousness can leave her physical body and travel to other planes of existence. In this state her body is left vulnerable and must be protected because if her body is destroyed her consciousness will be stuck in the void between worlds for the rest of eternity.
  Goddess Link - Lala seems to have a strong connection to her goddess and can act as a vessel to her in dire times which greatly amplifies her powers (more on this to be revealed in the thread)

  If you are looking for kindness or understanding look no further than Tania. She is perhaps one of the most kind-hearted and understanding people in the entire world because she can literally place herself in the shoes of others and feel all they are feeling. She seldom judges another person for their actions because she knows that something must have led them to that point. If she doesn't like someone it is often because she has seen inside their head and discovered that they are truly a horrible person who wishes nothing but harm upon others. She does all she can to see the good in others which oftentimes makes people think she is weak or ignorant of the world when she is truly neither. She knows exactly how horrifying the world and the people in it can be but she also sees the strength and love that lingers within others and believes that darkness cannot truly win so long as there is light. While she is often times warm, motherly, and sweet she can become quite the mother bear in an instant if she feels one of her patients is being targeted or is in danger. You will never find someone as tough or determined to keep the secrets she has been trusted with no matter what is done to her.   Ever since Tania was a child she has always been able to see the way those around her feel and take their emotions onto herself. Some might think that such a burden is a terrible thing for a young girl to carry but Tania never saw it that way. Her mind allowed her to see people who were hurting, people she could help, and she did. She dedicated her life to helping those who were at war with themselves, she graduated top of her class from several universities and began working with organizations and governments all across the world. Her work ranged from her own free of charge private practice to help people in less wealthy areas, to assisting world leaders, heroes, and spies. She even was there to help figures such as Captain America when he came out of the ice and Tony Stark when he began to struggle after the Battle for New York and even Nick Fury because we all know he needs to vent to SOMEONE. She knows more international, national and top secrets than maybe even Nick Fury and she knows them because those who she helps know she would never share the information with anyone, ever. Most of the time she only uses her telepathy during sessions in order to truly understand what her patients are going through. PERSONALITY: Coy, witty and with a good degree of snark delphine can often be playful if evasive with those she knows. The girl attempts to keep her cards close to her chest at times regarding her personal self, yet also can be very talkative about other subjects. Despite her less than reputable actions and thefts, she nevertheless does have a good moral compass when it comes down to it, having purposefully targeted only the more affluent rather than others in tougher circumstances.

BRIEF HISTORY:
Delphine is unaware of the exact nature of her birth or even parentage, having been found and put into the system at a young age. She would grow up in between one of the run-down Quebec orphanages and the streets, the latter being due to the treatment within the orphanage being less than ideal. Living a tough life, she would naturally come to less than legal means to get by such as pickpocketing and other thefts. This would come to a head when she stole a briefcase containing a canister of what at first appeared to be simply a black and white ooze, though would later discover it to be some form of the modified alien parasite after following up on the leads. The parasite in question would break containment however after being left on the side of her makeshift room while she slept. The parasite would attempt to fuse and take over Delphine however it appeared its target was ill-chosen when instead of devouring her, she in fact managed to devour it instead. This would end up giving her full control of the creature, however, in the course of this process, the first item she had fully absorbed with her power was in fact her original body.
POWERS/ABILITIES:
Delphines body is composed of a unique solid substance that she can manipulate freely to shift into various shapes and forms, including detaching such from herself to be controlled independently. By backing contact with targets she can convert them into more of this material and absorb it into herself, effectively increasing her mass in the process. Once absorbed, she can also impart this material to new targets, which will convert to a match. By employing this absorption technique, Delphine can drastically alter her own mass, size and density as needed to augment her physical abilities and create a range of effects with the limitation often being her own creativity. This body makes her difficult to injure, with any true damage capable of being repaired by sacrificing mass to restore, they may also consume such mass in order to sustain themselves in the place of actual food. They do however appear to have a strong aversion and weakness to both fire and sonic-based attacks, causing them to retreat or shed mass when possible.

•Loyal - He is loyal to his friends and loyal to his family for the most part. He would do anything for them as long as they are on his side. If they were to go against him they would no longer be those he trusted.
•Determined - He’s determined to make things right and he will no matter what gets in his way. He knows many have suffered in this world and he can use his powers to help them.
•Clever - A very clever man he had to be to outwit others and not suffer at their hands. He knows sometimes it’s not always about brawn but brains. So he makes sure to evaluate before just jumping in(well most the time that is.)
•Fair - Though he has his set ways he’s always fair and listens to both sides before making any decisions. However he had been known to play favorites with those he cares about.
•Sociable - Oh outgoing and playful as hell. He can be the life of a party when he wants to be. Despite all he’s gone through he likes to have fun and talk with others. He’s also been known to change his way into people’s minds and hearts.
•Stubborn - This man is extremely stubborn once he’s set in his way it’s almost impossible for him to change his mind. Now he’s not stubborn over stupid stuff well sometimes but it really is hard to get this man to change his mind or decisions. Unless he knows he’s being unreasonable which he then will admit he was in the wrong.
•Blunt - He’s not one to mince words. He tells you like it is unless it’s something that needs to remain hidden. He doesn’t even soften his words for his family which can often make him seem like his mother who was just as blunt.
•Possessive - A very possessive man what’s his is his. There’s no sharing and no negotiation when he wants something.
•Sly - He’s been known to make underhanded deals occasionally and always have a quick wit about him.

BRIEF HISTORY:
•Rafe always thought he was normal his childhood wasn’t anything crazy. His mother was always busy away at her lab being a top scientist in her field it made since for her to be away constantly. When he was little it would bother him but as he grew older he stopped caring as much since his dad always tried to make up for his fathers absence. His father had moved from Italy to be with his mother when they’d first met. The two had hit it off at some convention and it soon lead to Rafe’s mother being pregnant with him. It didn’t take long for the couple to head back to America since Rafe’s mother had a job that could easily keep them all happy. However soon his mother began to grow distant from her husband acting oddly and never allowing the man near when it was time for appointments for the baby. Rafe’s father just figured it was an American thing and let her be wanting to keep the pregnant woman happy. Now unknown to the man his wife was experimenting on herself using some kind of formula on herself. She was testing a theory that super humans could be made so she was using her own baby as a lab rat. Once it was time for her to give birth she hired private doctors and other scientists wanting to make sure everything went absolutely perfectly. The day came and Rafe was born the only odd thing about him were his eyes. That day his eyes were so light blue they looked like a frozen lake. This lead Rafe’s mother to believe she had succeeded in her experiment though as time went on Rafe showed no signs of powers. This lead his mother to grow distant angry that she had failed at creating a super human. Once Rafe turned 16 he was in an accident with his father having been hit by a drunk driver Rafe’s dad had taken the brunt of the damage having been impaled by a piece of metal from their truck. Rafe couldn’t help but watch as his father began to bleed out the one man who had always been there for him. That’s when his powers fully awakened scared and trying to save his father the car had become colder as ice began to form on Rafe’s hands. He some how froze the wound over enough to stop the bleeding in time for paramedics to arrive. They were baffled not sure what was going on but they got the man and Rafe out taking both to the hospital. That’s where they met with Rafe’s mother who suddenly was happier then she had been for years. The truth was then revealed to Rafe and his father since now she wanted to test out Rafe’s abilities even more.

POWERS/ABILITIES:
•Ice Prison - Able to bind, imprison, or capture something with ice. (Doesn’t work on everyone.)
•Ice Generation - He’s able to create ice out of thin air.
•Ice manipulation - This goes along with his ability to create ice this allows him to form it into varies shapes/forms.
•Absolute Zero - He causes the temperature in the room to drop below freezing. This causes anything in the room to begin freezing that includes people, animals, objects. (This ability is much slower then this others and he doesn’t have full control of it yet.)
OTHER SKILLS:
•Archery, horse back riding, hand to hand combat, is currently training with firearms

••A well rounded young woman she’s a bit of everything. A kind and caring soul she would do anything for those she cares about. However this doesn’t mean she will run herself ragged just to help someone who’s taking advantage of her kindness. She’s not going to deny helping but isn’t one who doesn’t understand when her good intentions are being over used. Poppy is a caring friend but she can also be sarcastic and witty often able to come up with comebacks or through friendly shade. When it comes to flirting she often does it without realizing it. However that doesn’t mean she’s a smooth talker in fact if she tries to flirt on purpose it’s very noticeable. When she tries to purposely flirt she turns a light pink and will mess up by saying something wrong or stutter. Though a kind and caring lady she has her moments like all people when you push her limits. This little thing can get rather angry and grumpy at times when pushed to the limit. When angry it’s best to avoid her cause she has bad tendencies to spit out venomous comments. Though not one to get physical when angry she has been known to hit walls or a person though note she’s often found crying afterwards. She’s not perfect by any means however she tries her best to do all she can even when in a dark place.

BRIEF HISTORY:
•Poppy was the oldest child born to a very loving mother and father. Her parents were well known gymnasts so they started training Poppy from a young age. She always enjoyed her lessons thinking it was so fun. Then when Poppy turned roughly 5 years old that’s when she learned soon she’d be a big sister . This meant she would have someone to play with and go on adventures with. As time passed her mother soon gave birth to a little sister who they named Iris. That day Poppy couldn’t be any happier the tiny blob of a creature was her new joy. A year had passed and Poppy was learning more about how to care for her sister which she did with pride. On a sunny day her parents surprised her with a road trip wanting to give her a reward before the school year so off they went. While driving they were suddenly in a terrible accident no one knows what exactly happened all Poppy remembers is a crash the car rolling then blackness. When she awoke it was to an utter nightmare pain coursed through her small body like never before but the worst was seeing the lifeless bodies of her beloved baby sister and of her parents. The next thing she knew strong but caring hands were removing her from the car pulling her away from the scene. Then bright lights flashing all around as she was transferred to a hospital to take care of her injuries. Once she was healed enough having suffered a few broken bones the question of who she would go to loomed over her. There was no one else in her family all she had ever had was her parents and sister that’s when the man who had pulled her from the wreckage stepped up to take her in. This man had visited her often in the hospital bringing a little blonde girl with him on some occasions. Once at his home he helped her with adjusting to the new situation it helped that another kid was around a playful one at that. It didn’t take long for Poppy and Alaura to bond over training with Alaura’s uncle Harris. The man never relented on them always pushing them hard at training which they enjoyed even if it was rough. The two grew up together becoming like sisters each girl helping balance a part the other was missing in their lives. When Ali had her accident everything seemed to change for awhile as things were different with Ali. However soon the two were recruited by Director Fury each having things the man wanted at his table.
