Fandom Attack on Titan: The Strange Happenings(Not accepting anyone anymore)

Ken looked around at the gathering recruits letting out a small sigh he got up and brushed some snow off his pants before walking over to a random group of recruits. He wasn't in a squad and frankly he didn't care about one, being ex military police he was far more used to soloing everything so having a team/squad meant little to him. When he got to the five he stood by them and patiently waited.

"Ken, I said groups of 5 not six" Erwin says looking at the boy "Also, if you haven't found a group yet you have to wait until the rest arrives" he adds, he looks at the groups and sees Erza still didn't finish getting everyone, though he knew Victoria was most likely drinking some hot chocolate first.

Ken sighed as he saw he was currently the odd one out. Not only did he not have a squad but there wasn't a single group that needed one more person. Scratching his head he once more sat on the ground and patiently waited. As he sat there he quickly got distracted as he started to make mini snowmans to quench his boredom.

Levi sees Luna and walks over to her with the others members of his squad. " what do you think he has planned?" He asked Luna.

Armin shrugged and sipped his hot chocolate " maybe something to keep everyone warm during the expedition" he said to her.

Erza walked over with Hanji who went off to be with her squad. Christa and Mikasa walked over. Erza looked around 'must be stillbirth the mess hall...' Erza thought to herself.

Luna shakes her head "No, but it better be worth it, though I have a feelin we're not going to like it" she says and sighs "You know how Erwin is by now".


Victoria quickly finishes her hot chocolate and says "Well we shouldn't keep them waiting".


Erwin sighs "Ken, you're in Hanji's group, she's the one with 6 cadets since she's taking care of the one who don't have a group, once the last two arrive I'll explain why I got Erza to call everyone outside" he says and smiles.

Levi sweatdropped " oh boy... we better not end up making first of something...." he said to her.

Armin finished his as well and nodded in agreement. " race you" he said and ran off.

Erza tilted her head a little as he looked at Erwin. She was curious to know what he has planned for us. Mikasa sweatdropped, getting the feeling none them will like it.

Ken smirked as he casually walked over to Hanji. On the outside he was calm and uncaring, but on the inside he was happy to be in Hanji squad. When he got there he put his attention on Erwin as he stood there calmly.

Victoria follows Armin and quickly beats him "Come on, they're probably waiting" she says and pulls him over to Erza. Erwin smiles seeing the last two arrive "Alright, as you know the expedition will test how well you can cope in the cold, so I thought of a test, for this entire week you have to stay outside, you can only go inside to go to the infirmary and squad leaders are allowed to get food for their squads, if you get too injured, or in Luna's case, if you injuries get worse you're free to stop and go inside". Luna sighs "I was expecting something, but now this" she mumbles, how were they going to survive in the cold. Erwin looks at the groups "Since Hanji's group is the group of the cadets with no group she can't go inside, I wanna test her sanity. Also you're allowed to go inside when you need to take a shower or need to go to the toilet".

Erza raised an eyebrow, she didn't think this was the best way to test their ability to endure the cold. 'Hope my throat doesn't get worse...' she thought to herself. Loosing her voice will be bad for the expedition. Levi sighed at the idea also thinking the same thing, " aren't there other ways to test our endurance in the cold?" He asked Erwin. He use to live in the cold, he won't have trouble during the weak, but may have a temper.

Ken shrugged at the challenge sure it would be a bit of a pain, but he used to survive months on end outside in the freezing cold and he was still alive. So he felt this would be pretty easy for him and funny as well. "So don't freeze to death in this week and try not to be weak to go inside. Got it." He chimed as he placed his hands on the back of his head.

Erwin glares at Ken "Those who give up aren't weak, they're just as good as everyone else" he says and adds "Also, if your attitude gets worse I'll send you inside and forbid you to go on the expedition". Luna sighs "Thanks for the boost of confidence idiot" she says looking at Ken "In case you forgot, not everyone grew up on the streets like you or me". Victoria looks at them "Can you please stop it and get along, also Ken, you're not invited to the castle next month, my mother doesn't think you're worth it to show up". Truth was, she didn't either, she didn't like him at all, but she wasn't going to tell him that.

Ken sighed as he stood there with a blank look pretty much ignoring everything that they were saying. "Yes sir." He said in a calm voice not caring about the threat in the least. He knew how to play his card right and he had every plan to make it through this week like it was nothing to show him and the others that he was strong and could survive any training tossed at him.


With a kind smile he looked at Victoria. "I was never invited in the first place. But please, tell your mother who I have never met that I appreciate the fact I was considered to step into the royal palace once more." He said knowing full well she didn't like him. Though for now he didn't care if people didn't like him then so be it. As long as he kept to himself and didn't let anyone in he would be fine.

Luna grabs some snow and trows it at Ken "If you think your strong then forget it!" she says and glares at him "When I joined the Military Police they talked about you got everything you wanted, so don't try any tricks, everyone here has to work hard for their place and you just use people!" she says. Victoria sighs "I've heard that too" she says and sits down "After I worked so hard I find someone lower then me just uses people" she mumbles. Erwin starts getting annoyed "Cut it out and Ken, you are going to do this challenge fair, no using other people, if I hear you do I'll kick you out' he says. Victoria realizes something "This is bad, dad hasn't left yet, if he wanted to do anything this could be his perfect chance" she thinks and moves slightly closer to Armin.

Ken wiped the snow from his face and looked at it before looking straight forward. "Are we having a snowball fight? Last I checked I didn't do anything to provoke you to throw that at me." He stated in a calm voice giving her a kind smile. "And I'm glad to know.... That you don't know jack about me." He said his voice going slightly dark in that last sentence even his expression. However it was only for a split second before he looked happy and smiley again. "I would keep talking but I find it pointless besides Commander Erwin. If I wanted to use people to obtain high ranking in the survey corps. I assure you I would have done so some time ago. The corps is too loyal and true to be used easily unlike the corrupt military police." He said in a calm voice before taking a deep breath. "Sorry, I'm done talking for now." He said as he looked forward once more having a blank face as he remained in his spot.

"So you used them" Luna says and she adds "No wonder it took a while before they trusted me". Erwin glares "You do this fair, like everyone else, and next time I'll have you spar with Levi". Victoria sighs "Can you knock it out now? There's something else we have to worry about" she says and adds "My father didn't leave, he could be anywhere planning his attack and he won't be satisfied with just killing me". Luna scans the area, focusing on her hearing and she hears footsteps "Back in a sec, always wanted to beat up that bloody idiot" she says and walks of to where she heard the footsteps, whoever it was, was running "Not working" Luna says and despise the injuries she catches up and tackles him to the ground knocking his weapon out of his hand and she drags him to the others "Got the idiot" she says and smiles, glad over her easy victory "So... what now?" "We get someone to throw him of the wall" Victoria says and she walks over "And if he survives that I'll deal with him myself".

Ken kept a blank face as he ignored the unnecessary comments. The idea of sparring against Levi to him wasn't a threat he would love a match against him. It would be intresting to see Levi's fighting style and such. He watched as Luna ran off only to comeback with someone. He didn't know who it was mainly because a bunch of others were in his line of sight.

(Luna went to get him)


Luna sighs "For now we'll tie him up somewhere" she says and Victoria nods "Yep, we can trow his of later" she says and Erwin sighs "Just put him somewhere after you tie him up" he says earning a nod. Mikasa looks at Luna "Why did you wanna beat him up?" she asks and Luna says "Long story, actually not that long, he called my parents useless and weak".

Ken had to bite his lip to stop him from laughing at those words. He just looked forward and remained silent. 'Don't laugh, don't laugh, don't laugh.' He kept repeating in his head.

"What part of that is funny?" Erwin asks Ken "You need to take things more serious", Luna looks at Ken "I'll be keeping an eye on you rat" she says before walking back to Levi. Victoria sighs and gets some rope, after tying up her father she walks to Erza.

Ken looked up at Erwin and smiled. "It's nothing sir. Just a pointless thought from the hated recruit." He chimed before looking forward again wanting this exercise to start. He knew every one hated him so he would have to do this on his own with no help...but he was used to this so he believed he would be fine. 'I won't give up, I'll show them that I can do this with ease and I'm not a weak rat that they peg me for.'

"Just some advise for later, do not talk badly about her parents, I did once and she threw me against the wall, rather hard" Hanji says and she sighs "She can be very scary". Luna smirks slightly "Good to know I can scare you Hanji" she says and adds "I'll be putting traps in your lab then". Erwin sighs "This task is to raise your endurance in the cold, and it's to make the teamwork better, so if I hear that anyone did this on their own they're banned from going on an expedition for two years" he says and glances at Ken "Am I clear?"

Ken shrugged at what Hanji said. "If she can't take simple insults well bad for her.... I've seen scarier." He said before he let out an audible groan at this as he hanged his head. He survived on his own, that how he got out from the underground, how he passed the training and how he rose in the ranks of the military police. He was without a doubt someone who does things alone, and the idea of having to work with others aggravated him. With a sigh he looked up at Erwin. "Yes sir."

Erza quietly watched everything happen. She was getting slightly irritated by Ken and his attitude. She hated people like him, it made her sick to her stomach. Levi was also slightly getting irritated, by the man.


The two then watched Luna run off to go get Victor. Erza shot Victor a death glare " you have alot guts, trying to kill Victoria at HQ..." she said to him as she walked over to him, she stepped on his chest and pushed him down on the snow " why don't we just bury you alive in the snow? Will you understand the pain Luna and Victoria went through then?" She said to him digging her heel into his chest. Erza can be dark and dangerous when the people she care about are insulted or put into danger. She had a cold, blank looked on her face " well?"


Levi sighed a little and looked at Erza, who looked like she wanted to kill Victor just as bad as Luna and Victoria " Erza calm down, he won't be hurting anyone anytime soon... he is nothing without his title" Erza stared at him and took her foot off his chest and walked back to her squad.


Sakura looked at Ken " You should be careful... you never know when your past can come back to haunt you" she said to him and softly sighed a little. She has done some stuff in the past that she is scared will come back to haunt her. Renshi put a hand on her shoulder and Sakura smiled a little.

Ken smiled a bit as he looked at the sky. "My past is already haunting me. Nothing I can do to change it. I don't really care what people think of me. I'm used to the ridicule and hate." He said simply with a smile as he took a deep breath. "If they wish to judge me on rumors without actually knowing me, so be it. I'll just have to prove them wrong."

 

[Flame Demon]

"How do you plan to do that?" A male asks, Luna turns towards who asked it to see her father holding up some papers "Those aren't rumors, they're true" he says and puts the papers away "Also, you don't belong here if you can't work in a team, you'll die alone out there". Luna sighs "Dad, don't go around going through Erwin's stuff" she says and Erwin says "I gave him permission, he was the second in command". Victoria looks at Luna's father (I think I gave him the name Richard...) and she then looks at Luna "You don't look alike". Hanji suddenly puts an arm around Victoria scaring the poor girl "Luna got her mother's looks, and her father's bad behavior and habits" the mad scientist says.
