Fantasy Atlantis

Julian:

"I understand why you don't like them. I don't like them either. I was actually scared of him in the beginning, but we can't put everyone in the same bag now can we?" Julian said with a smile as he shook his head to her apology. "You're not in need to apologize for anything. It's normal to get angry at those who have hurt you, or those who are similar to them," Julian said understandable to her and smiled as she gestured to his legs, certainly more unknown of what it was than Serina was, but she didn't pull on them as her daughter had done at the very least, after all... Serina had been very close and intimidate with him. He was happy that Nymphadora wasn't like her daughter. "I can walk, but it's a bit difficult. I'm fine though, thanks for the thought," He said with a smile, as smiling was beginning to hurt, as he touched his cheeks he felt the cuts, and some of them had opened up from him smiling and talking. He sighed as he felt the warm drops of blood meet his hand, but quickly dried them away.

Sirena finds it difficult not to bury her head in her hands upon her mother's return. "Mooom..." her groan is quiet enough that the queen wouldn't hear. Sirena rarely found herself alone. There was always either Kai or one of her sisters or a guard or her mother. It was very tiring. She was glad that Queen Nymphadora was getting along with her human, though. Perhaps if she spent enough time with him she wouldn't make humans such a big deal. ((*casually has Sirena start referring to Julian as 'her human' in her mind*))

"I was just trying to be nice, Sirena." Nymphadora could tell that she wasn't exactly wanted at the moment. "Fine, if you truly wish to be alone, I will go, at least, I will get back in the water." She waited, but didn't move. "Don't act like Aurix. I can't have all my children hating me for wanting to be around them." Her memory went back to her son earlier. "For an heir to the throne, and a son of Caspian, he definitely isn't acting like the kind ruler that Atlantis needs." She slipped away from them, but not before touching Julian on the leg in a quick attempt to heal him. She didn't have the time to see if it worked as she slipped back in the ocean.

Drake: He came back, with all of the rocks. He proceeded to form a ring with them, and then beginning to set up the wood. Once he had put a bunch, but not all of it in the ring of stones, he retrieved the Flint, and his sabre from where they lie. He was completely oblivious to everything around him, fire and food were way more important right now. He slid the flint along the sword, and a flurry of sparks errupted, going into the wood. Several small flames formed, dancing along the wood as they grew. "Julian!" Drake shouted, excited, "We have a fire!" a smile on his face, Drake went to go find the food bag.

Sirena begins to protest, but her mother was gone before the words had time to come out of her mouth. She pulls her long hair over her shoulder and begins running her fingers through it. The strands were ... damp. They had never just been damp before. "What's a fire?" She asks, in response to Drake's exclamation.

Kai wanders around the halls. His father was busy with his brother, and his mother was no where to be found. He knew where his sister was, of course. It qas past nightfall, and Kai was positive she'd snuck back to the island. The girl was going to get herself killed. Or worse; taken. He had heard rumours of what humans do to other humans, their experiments and cruel keeping. He shuddered to think of what they would do to a mer.

Suddenly, the small flames became one large one, crackling in the night. "Fire is this," he said, pointing to the fire he had made. "It's really important to us humans, it helps with food, seeing things, keeping warm, all that good stuff," Drake said, smiling, in glee, as he pulled a fish out of the bag. He grabbed a sharp looking wrong, and began taking off the scales and crap, so it could be cooked and eaten.

Queen Nymphadora trusted the younger human completely with her daughter, but, she couldn't just focus on one child. She had others, and, that's where she was needed. With a new smile on her face, the queen swam back home, through the front gate and into the castle. "I hope I wasn't seen. I hope I wasn't missed either." She swam through the halls. "Anyone?"

Julian:

Julian smiled and looked at hisnleg where he had felt a warm touch from the Queen. "Drake! My leg!" Julian exclaimed as he unwrapped the handkerchief and looked at Serina. "Fire is the opposite of water. It's dry and warm," Julian answers her question and grabbed some dry sand before he gently placed it in her hands. "This is dry, and it's very warm too. And when you see your mother, give her my thanks. I don't know what she did, but my leg is better!" Julian said smiling as he dried away some more blood from the cuts on his cheek.

"Well, yes and no. Humans can see in the dark, but not very well," he said, nodding. "Can mermaids see in the dark?" he asked, even though it was obvious.

Sirena nods. "We can always see, unless we close our eyes. It gets very dark in the Ocean. Sometimes we use the jellyfish that glow to help us, because it hurts after a long time." She looked down at the sand placed in her hand. It trickled out slowly through her fingers. "I will." She tells Julian. Her mother was one of those special merfolk that could heal other beings. It was a very rare talent. Serina sees Julian wipe away blood from his cheek and turns his face toward hers so she could see the cuts. "You are losing blood."

Kai heard his mother's voice and swims toward the source. "Mother! Where have you been?" He engulfs her in a hug before holding her at arm's length and looking at her very sternly. "You need a guard with you whenever you leave. We were worried!"

"Oh, come now, Kai, don't act like a father." She teased, hugging him close, stroking his hair. "What do you mean 'we'? You could have sent dolphins out to find me if you were truly worried." She kissed his cheek, relishing his embrace. "I am so glad that you aren't like your brother, my love." She wrapped her tail around him. "Are you alright? I didn't expect such a brave, strong young merprince to miss his mommy." She lifted his head gently with her left hand, while her right still clung to him.

Julian:

Once again Serina comes close to him and his face as he lit up dark pink, but didn't move as it seemed she was interested in seeing his cuts. They didn't hurt as much as the cuts on his leg did, but they were bleeding since he was smiling so much. "I- It's not as ba- bad as it looks. D- Don't worry,"Julian reassured her with a smile and smiled to her, as blood once again came out of his cuts and wiped a bit more away with his hand.

Kurt nodded, "Interesting," he said, thinking. He was disrupted from his thoughts by Sirena's comment, and looked over at Julian, "Yeah, Julian, your face is bleeding," he said looking at the boy with worry.

Sirena touches the cuts lightly, her fingers coming away red with his blood. Her face is set in a worried frown. "It needs a bandage..." she knew she could not help with that, as the bandages her people used only worked in the water.

~

"Even the strongest of mermen should love their mother." Kai says, smiling at her. In truth, he qas a momma's boy, always has been. "I always miss you."

Julian:

Julian slightly winces as Serina's fingers touch his wound as it did hurt on touch, but that was normal and looked at both Drake and Serina. "It's okay. Really, it'll probably stop bleeding after a while. It doesn't need anything. How are the cooking process going?" Julian asked Drake to change the subject as he turned to Serina with yet another smile. "I appreciate the concern, but it's fine. I promise, nothing is going to happen. Everything is fine," Julian reassured him as he looked over to see the roaring flames, it was perfect thinking of how dark it was becoming, and now that the Queen had healed his leg up, he could be of more use. He could help more and limp less, it brought another smile to his face just thinking of it.

"Kai, my sweet boy, you truly are an angelfish." She caressed his cheek lightly. "Ah, I love you so much. Promise me that you will never change." She held him tighter. "I can still remember holding you like this when you were little. Your nightmares and fears would stop, I thought, when I did." She kissed his hair.

Freyja tried to keep up with him and saw the cave not to far ahead of them. "You live in a cave?" She frowned and looked at it as they got closer. It was well lit up though and the lanterns were quite nice looking. She noticed that he was just grabbing random things, "Do you not own that much?" He then asked her to grab something and she quickly went over to it and picked it up. "This right?"

Sirena watches Drake cook the fish, slightly confused. She hopes that he knows what he's doing, because in her eyes, he just ruined a perfectly good meal.

~

Kai smiles. "Of course. You made the monsters of the deep run screaming for THEIR mothers, in my eyes." He chuckles, all his usual stoic seriousness gone.

Drake finishes cooking the fish, and hands it to Julian, "You want a bite?" he asks, grinning. The fish was perfectly cooked, and descaled.

((Julian is her human huh? xD I like how she has become so possessive of him xD ))

Mizu:

"I don't have too much, just enough so I can get by. I do have a couple of personal things, but I can't move my entire house with me now can I?" Mizu said with a smile as he swam into his room and grabbed a couple more of his stuff before he returned to Freyja and smiled. "That's it then! I'm ready to move in~!" Mizu said with a smile as he checked his bag one more time to make sure everything he wanted was in it, and nodded happily when he had confirmed he wasn't missing anything. "I'm pretty certain everything is here right now~ I haven't lived here for a very long time, so I haven't really had the chance to furnish a lot," Mizu said to her question and smiled.

Julian:

"Thanks Drake," Julian said with a smile as he happily received the deliciously cooked fish, and moved the handkerchief he had been given by Drake over to his cheek and held it there, maybe that would stop the bleeding, otherwise he would just have to put some cold pressure on it, and try not to smile. "You want some Serina?" He asked her as it seemed as she had been looking at the two of them eat, and if she was hungry than at least she should get some of the own food that she had brought to them. It was the least he could do since she had done so much for him already.

Drake nodded, taking a bite of his own fish. Nom nom nom nom nom. This fish is actually really good, he thought to himself, rather surprised.

"Well, my child, I can promise you that those sea monsters are all gone." She thought of him as a little one, then, now, being much bigger than herself. "They won't come back. If they do, you tell me and I'll make sure they stay away." She teased him still. "Please, don't tell your father about me leaving. I promise I didn't go far."

((Sorry guys, I was visiting my grandma. Also. Potato. Nom nom nom nom?))

Sirena makes a disgusted face. "No, thank you." Merpeople ate fish raw. The thought of eating a cooked fish was terrible to her. Even the smell bothered her, but she said nothing about it.

~

Kai smiles. "I will be sure to." When she brings up that she had been gone, it reminds him that she had never answered him as to where she had been. "Where were you, anyway?"
