I'll repost this from page 27 for clarity. =)
"There are currently three groups of gnolls within your vicinity (there are more attacking other parts of the caravan).
Group 1 (10 gnolls). These are trying to pull some of the caravan staff out of the wagon directly in front of you (which is big enough to be Bilal the Rich's main wagon). They are stabbing and laughing and reaching to shadowy forms that scurry for safety.
Group 2 (18 gnolls). This force is attacking one squad of Grimdell's Guardians with a passion. They are doing their best to pull each of the remaining 6 guardians out of formation before surrounding and hacking him to pieces.
Group 3 (6 gnolls). These fiends are attacking horses, apparently for their meat and to enjoy the sounds of the screaming.
Current situation: Everyone except for the non-combatants are out of the cage-wagon"
@Wolf Rawrrr (I was hoping someone would ask this, but it's against my own Storytelling "code" to bring it up.) The horses are not all together. All of your team's horses appear to be in pairs or scattered across the field of battle. A couple are even being used by Grimdell's Guardians to attack the gnolls with.
The horses belonging to Bilal's Grand Caravan are mostly still tied to the wagons they were pulling. Some are dead, carved to pieces while in their harnesses. Many are pulling at their harnesses, and a few are kicking at their attackers as best they can.
Instead of attacking on his turn, Wolf (or any character) can use his action to use a skill (Perception) to try and spot as many of the Wardens' horses.
@Sherwood Good idea. However, as with Wolf in the above notes, unless the Storyteller declares otherwise, using a skill still counts as a standard action. This means you'll have to wait until Luna's turn and use the Perception skill in place of an attack or spell. There is nothing currently stopping Luna from quickly looking around during her turn, but she won't get the full benefit of using her standard action to perform a skill.
@killfire I have a "silly" to share. Why is Bronze wondering such a thing at a time like this? When all hell is breaking loose, why not? Ha ha! =)
