Alright, here's a more accurate rendering of Averlund. I made sure to abide by Dannigan's notes, so I used days-of-travel instead of a standard distance scale. 1 day of travel equals 100 px on the map. Thus this should be pretty precise... And that's why it's huge (main culprit Waterwind which has to be insanely far). I improvised with Silverthrone and Raintree, and estimated roughly where one region ends and another begins.

Looking at the changes made to the Summon Monster spells in the Shop Talk tab, am I correct in reading that when a creature or creatures are summoned, it is basically a random roll to see what you call up?

Powerpaw chuckles mischievously. "Hay guyz! We oughta make drinkin' it an intiations! Hay! Wanna be a Wanderer? Open wides an' bottomus ups! Hoo hoo hoo!"
That reminds me of this. But whatever this goo is, hopefully it bears no similar effects.

And hey, that luckstone was just what Otiorin needed lol. Take that RPN dice roller indeed *woof*

rpn dice rollers murmurs from the deep: "I shall take it and return it with interest xo xo"

@Wolf Rawrrr It's a good beginning!

- There is no large body of water south of Summerset. The Shimmering Sea begins on the coast with Glimmerdawn. The area south of Summerset is mostly made up of golden valleys and rocky hills with tufts of forest here and there until one reaches the Forest Eternal (which begins two week's ride south of Summerset). Dalsus and Lake Dalsus are on the outskirts of the Forest Eternal on the forest's northwest end (Dalsus is therefore also a two-week ride away).

- Glimmerdawn's beachland runs basically northeast to south with that port city on the far east edge of Averlund. The land north of Glimmerdawn tapers off to the northeast well before it reaches Morgandir. It's kind of similar to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

- Morgandir is simply called by that name. The city and the mountain often go by the same name, though the dwarves refer to it as "Moradin's Mountain" referring to their creator.

- Both Silverthrone and Raintree are surrounded by forests. Silverthrone has many hills and glades. Raintree has three small lakes in its river and bridge-filled vicinity. Both towns are south of the highway by about half a day and reachable via southern roads.

That's all I have time for now (Real Life is starting to beckon here...). =)

Alright. Except you must have meant to say that Dalsus and the lake are on the forest's northeast end.

This clarifies things. At first I merely thought: "Hm, Waterwind is in the southwest corner, Glimmerdawn in the northeast, so basically connect the lines."

Yes, I know. There's plenty of mountains that nobody calls "Mountain X" (my city is built on the foothills of one), just by the name, but on a map I put Mt. to distinct between the label for the landmark and vs settlement. It's just a mapping thing.

It goes without saying that there are forests even in blank areas where I didn't draw a tree. Maps usually only place large, notable forests with symbols, because you can't really draw every glade - on a world map, that is. A local map would have much more detail. I'd like to place the rivers and lakes as well, but without specific instruction I'd just be guessing. I could remake it a hundred times before I get every line and dimension right otherwise. So I just put the towns in their hopefully proper position. Note that you could save this image, crop the part where the lakes and rivers around Raintree should be (because the map is huge and it makes no sense to carry all that info), and then make rough outlines of where those bodies of water would be. It would make it a trivial matter for me to implement that way.

Here's a new version. I figured out how to export it better, so it retains quality but is actually three times smaller file *woof*

@Sherwood Originally, yes, but that's a note that I should have updated since it was changed between the time I wrote that Shop Talk entry and the time Cap'n used the spell. I meant to update that entry, but it didn't happen.

I'm going to ask you to click over to Adventurers' Table pg 91, entry #2251 so you get a good idea of how I handled it the last time the spell was cast. That whole scene should paint a clear picture on how I'm handling Summon Monster spells.

In the meantime, I'm going to spend what time I have left tonight rewriting that Shop Talk entry. I'll post again here when it's done.

O.K. The Summon Monster information in Shop Talk has been properly revised. Good night. =)

I just want to make sure before editing Luna's sheet: Is it ok for me to write in the Troll Potion and a Invisibility Potion?

I still haven't written anything in, but will do so when my character leaves the scene (room). I'll consider that moment as sealing the item grab *woof*

Hey, Sherwood, if Luna is done maybe she and Wolf can get some alone time now *rawrrr*

(and I don't mean just a fade to black; I mean some actual RPing if you're into it)

Unless there is another stop of the Railroad that we need to post in, I say go for it.

Yep! Please do.

Entry #24 (spoiler at top)

I hope to post in-game later today. =)

I thought we agreed - or at least Wolf suggested - that he and Luna inconspicuously drop out of the tour group as they pass by his bedroom... *rawrrr*

Luna and Wolf certainly deserve some time off given all the Wanderers have recently been through. Whatever the two of you decide, consider your characters to know what's where in the Wanderers' Wagon including the rooms chosen by your teammates.
What time is it now?
Answer.

I don't get it :/

Was that supposed to be a link?

Supposedly we finished with item examination around 21h, and then talked a bit by the pool. And then went on that tour. So I assume it's no later than 21:30?

I think Dann was indicating how Sherwood has taken the initiative and had Wolf snatch Luna into his bedroom.

Captain Hesperus

Thanks Cap'n, but I really was trying to link something. The link worked in my preview, but not when I posted it. Hmm! I have more to learn. =)

Let's call it about 10:00 p.m. in-game.

Heya folks!

The way I see it, the Railroad is closed for now and folks are free to do as they will. If you decide to do something with your night, great. If not, the Wanderers will decide to do with their day come morning. Just let me know when your night comes to a close (and if it goes on and on, well, you're welcome to use "Earlier" and "Now" tabs to show that).

=)
Shut up, he told himself, glad that Luna couldn't hear his thoughts.
Sparkle sent everything in Wolf's mind straight to Luna. He doesn't know I'm camouflaged in here, does he?

JUST KIDDING! =)
