Sherwood Sherwood
OOC If the range of the spell is Touch only, I'll have Sparkle deliver it to him for me. Otherwise, Luna will just cast it on him as normal. The Displacement lasts for 10 rounds.

Hey you! Please post OOC comments here and not in your information spoilers or I am liable to miss it! =)

Editing my post now. =)

No worries! If it weren't for Kaerri, I would have missed it. So... give her a cookie or something? =)

Happy Father's Day to my favorite gaming daddy, Sherwood! =)

I finally remembered to check Bren's character sheet to see if he's rolled Monster Lore on stone golems before. He has not, so I'd like to roll. Will that be now or do I need to wait for his turn?

In the meantime, anyone have any ideas? No one's shared the results of their rolls in-character, except Oroleth saying her arrows won't hurt it and Nivirea's saying it's got to be following the results of its master. However, that doesn't stop us from conspiring out of character if we please. ^;3^ Maybe Powerpaw and Bren can hold it away from the horses long enough that you arcane types can confer with the robed guy chasing it?

I just hate to be the one to throw the first punch just to discover that this golem is not a threat, and we just sparked a major fight for nothing.

Not that I'm expecting that, but it's a thought I have.

Bren can throw the first punch, or rather I was thinking charge+shield bash to try to stop it, even for a round. If we can hold it off somehow, that might be all its master needs to regain control?

Here is a question for Dann. If I cast Flame Arrow on Oreleth, would that damage stack with her own natural damage when dealing with the Damage Reduction of the golem, or does it apply separately?

I don't see what I can do, really, except casting Entangle which probably won't do anything to stop (or even slow down) a target of this size... And we already established that regular, direct spells most likely won't work at all.

That said, the figure which is presumably the golem's master seems to be struggling to control it, so I'm not sure how useful they'll prove even if we can approach them. I suspect that if the golem's task turns out to be hostile, we won't have any choice but to attempt to destroy it.

Initiative order
15 - Luna (cast Displacement on Powerpaw)
14 - Nivirea
10 - Oroleth (cast Shield, drew bow)
9 - Powerpaw
7 - Bria
6 - Brendoran
5 - Mamapaw (delayed to Initiative 5)

Will that be now or do I need to wait for his turn?
Now is fine. I am thinking maybe to make Monster Lore rolls an instant thing on my part to save time (similar to some of those Perception rolls I make for you), but if you guys and gals would rather call it out like we have been doing, that is fine too. What do you think, gang?

This. This is the real reason we have OOC chat in RpN. Just for moments like this. Keep it up, folks. =)

To be specific, Luna will need to cast it on Oreleth's ammunition, not Oreleth (this Luna knows, but it still deserves mention). Flame Arrow stacks with Oreleth's abilities.

Gang, it is Nivirea's turn. Do any of Wolf's fellow PCs have any ideas for him? =)

Rolling now, then. And I think we should continue to call it out; after all, maybe our characters wouldn't make the roll for some reason? (Silly reason, like they forgot or they wouldn't think of it at that time or something, but hey, that sort of thing happens in real life too?)

Wolf Rawrrr Wolf Rawrrr Luna is pretty much in the same position as you with her magic. All I can do to contribute to a fight here is to buff up the rest of the party and try to help evacuate the surrounding area to keep down collateral damage. Are there any spells you can cast to do that? Or, can you try to clear the battle space of any innocents?

It doesn't have to be spells, either. Try making use of the Diplomacy or Bluff skill to persuade everyone to clear out?

*Hands out cookies because I like watching PCs help each other through teamwork (and always have)* =)

Heya gang! I will have Nivirea delay in the next 1-2 days if there is no post. I don't want to chance losing this scene to time. I am starting to.

Kaerri, with that roll, Bren seems to know as much as Nivirea. Not bad! See post #468 for details. =)

Wolf Rawrrr Wolf Rawrrr Okies and no worries!

What initiative number would you like Nivirea to go on? Select a number less than her current, 14, and that will tell us when she will act next. For example, Mamapaw's initiative was higher than Bren's, but she decided to Delay to initiative turn just after Bren's (hence why she goes on 5). Remember that Oreleth has already acted this round due to your silly DM goofing up. =)

Hey Psychie Psychie , on Luna's next action, I plan on casting my Flame Arrow spell on your ammo, giving you a chance to do some damage to the golem. Get ready for it!

I suppose I'll just go last, then. After Mamapaw, if possible. if not, since she's delaying as well, then between her and Bren?

Hey gang! I hope to post later today or tomorrow. Have fun!

A quick question about my Arcane Archer ability of Imbue Arrow. Does the spell I cast have to be attached to the arrow, or can I cast my Gravity Bow spell and still be able to get a single shot off?
