At a Glance [RP]

"Excellent. Now then, there is one dragon in there and the other, I am not sure what she is. The dragon is the one with the blue hair. She breaths some sort of blue fire that freezes whatever it makes contact with but she shouldn't be a problem. I dosed her with three needles of neurotoxin before she could get inside. By now, she should be fast asleep or there about. We'll have to act fast though because the neurotoxin will naturally wear off after an hour. Oh and a few agents from an ambush squad might not be returning to base. That dragon killed one and injured the rest. Had I not stepped in, those idiots would have lost the three potential targets and left empty handed."

Dusk turned and started heading East to drop off his cargo. He was pleased with the capture he had made and soon, two more captures would be made due to his work. He was the best the organization had and the funny thing is that he wasn't even their most loyal agent or even truly an agent for them. He was just a contract killer and weapons engineer who caught their attention and got privately hired. He was in it for the money and nothing else. If a non-human offered him more than what Gemini could then he would eagerly change sides.

"Ah, she must be an ice one then, huh? Those are tricky, worse than the fire breed at times," the agent replied, chuckling, "Yeah, those others stationed in the grocery store were new recruits. Hardly skilled at all." He signaled to the task force, giving them their directions then trailing behind the android human. "...This female dragon. In her human form, did she have light blue hair down to her waist and violet eyes?" he inquired, a thought crossing his mind as he pulled out a computerized pad and browsing through its contents, looking for something. He had come across an important document the other day and when Dusk mentioned blue hair, something clicked in his brain.

----------

Tyra lay back, now a pounding in her head. Slowly, her eyes shut completely, her arm falling over the couch as she couldn't hold consciousness any longer, passing out. Her breathing was steady, and her body completely limp and motionless.

"Why yes, yes she did. Have some special interest in that particular dragon? By the way, they really should stop sending the new agents out on important jobs and give them something simple and easy to do. Maybe log them for a lot of hours in training. If they had more skilled people like me helping, they wouldn't have many non-humans running around free for much longer." Dusk continued walking as he spoke. He wished to move a bit faster but he wasn't sure if the agents following him would be able to keep up. Being enhanced by his suit certainly has its advantages and disadvantages.

Mirina looked over at Tyra worriedly her eyes showing fear. "Oh no..." She sighed and ran over trying to lift her off the ground. "I should get her into a room... Gemini might still be searching for her..." She pulled her arm over her shoulder and entered a nice bedroom setting Tyra down on the bed. "I need to call Berch. He knows what to do." After fixing what might have fallen off the shelves Mirina closed the door. Walking back to the livingroom slash kirchen area she pulled out a cellphone. Soon she typed out the number to the phone and put it to her ear.

Berch stired abit his phone ringing. What had happened? He was moving somehow... He opened his eyes and instantly looked horrified. Gemini agents! He ignored his phine and decided to try and get away.

"Ah, here it is. Is this her? The dragon hybrid in there?" the agent asked, handing his pad to Dusk. On the smooth computer surface was a picture of a girl, much younger than the Blessed Dragon he'd been chasing. However, there was no doubt that they were one in the same. The girl's deep violet eyes in the picture were wide with terror and she was dressed in the typical white prisoner attire that all impounded non-humans were forced to wear. "Now that," he continued, pausing for effect, "is Tyra. She was caught at an early age, around a few decades old human years so she looked around eight in her human form since Dragons age much slower than us, and brought into the facility. An interesting one she was I've heard, quite slippery. She was the base of many a genetic study but also one of the first to ever escape a Gemini testing facility. She's been wanted by Gemini for many years, however, since the director was a bit sore over her escape, he made it a secret operation only accessible by top level agents."

Rikka shifted through the darkness of the filth strewn alleyway, silently picking through the appalling mounds of garbage in search of something useful. Just the other day she found an old half-rotten apple, and was hoping for similar luck today.

It felt like she'd already been searching for hours, and her limbs began to feel heavy and unwieldy. Perhaps it was time to find a place to sleep... she leaned against the side of the damp alleyway and sighed.

"there's always tomorrow" she mumbled as she brushed the clinging bits of trash of her clothing.

Rikka looked around the dilapidated alleyway, she'd need somewhere safe to sleep...She noticed a small rusted ventilation shaft big enough for a small on the far side of the alley. "that'll do" she thought aloud. Sprinting to it, she used her claws to tear the derelict grate off it's screws an climb inside.

Her form subtly changed as she crawled deeper into the obscurity of the vent, shifting from humanoid, to feline...She had no idea where this vent would end up, but anything was safer then the streets.

The rusted vent was cold on her feet, and even in this form she couldn't see through this darkness perfectly.. she wandered blindly for what seemed like hours until she happened upon another grate, this one leading into a well lit building.

Rikka peeked through the grating to see a blue-haired female human sleeping on a nice crimson bed...

Suddenly she had an idea, and imminently she started mewing franticly, hoping to get the humans attention.

"And here I was, thinking that my quarry was just the usual type of target but it seems she's of special importance. One moment, I have to deal with something." Dusk had heard the phone go off and felt slight motion as the dragon in human form he had over his shoulder stirred. He reached down to the same compartment which he had taken the neurotoxin dose needles from earlier and pulled out another two before quickly jabbing both into his captive's neck. "That should hold him for a while. I felt slight movement and decided to play it safe since I have a dragon over my shoulder. I wouldn't want him transforming in our midst or anything."

Dusk could see the transport up ahead, not far after they had been walking for a bit of a while. Since the distance was relatively short and there was no chance of the operative near him getting lost along the way there, he took off running to the transport. Upon reaching there, he slowed to a stop and waited for the others to reach. He kept a close eye on his captive, just in case he should awaken again.

"Yes, it appears so. I have to warn you though, she's a powerful one; I'd watch your back if I were you transporting her. She's had experience with agents before, though I don't believe she's ever met one with as much android tech as you," the agent explained, opening the cold, metal doors of the transport vehicle for Dusk to drop the unconscious teenager inside.

---------

Tyra remained completely motionless, no matter what the cat did. Apparently, the girl was in some sort of coma or unconscious state. If Rikka wanted to get inside, she'd have to do it herself. However, luck just happened to be learning in her direction. The window was slightly cracked open, having been unlocked to let in some fresh air. If she could reach the ledge, she could get inside.

Berch in the seconds the needles were yet again injected into him, yelled somthing. It sounded in a diffrent language and off. He kept moving about until finnally the toxin completly kicked im and he passed out again, his phone still ringing, it dropped to the ground and cracked slightly but still kept going.

Mirina's persistance was evedient. She was worried now. Her brother hadn't picked up! He always picked up. She paced slightly holding her own phone to her ear. "Berch please pick up..." Soon she had decided to go outside. Her brother might be in danger. She knew she could take a few agents! Only if it was that android... She probably wouldn't stand a chance. She bit her lip and finnally started to sit the phone down and end the call. Hearing a light mewing comming from the window of the bedroom she got currious. "Whatever that is, I'll find it in a second."

Dusk placed his cargo on the floor of the transport vehicle, pushing him well inside before turning to the agent he had been talking to. The ice dragon would be a challenge and he enjoyed the thought of one. The captures were incredibly easy and he had not sustained any damage in combat in a few years. That did have its benefits however as it meant not having to repair his suit as often but he still had to run maintenance on his cybernetics every now and then. "I almost captured her in seconds. The classic cloak and stun. My gauntlet just grazed her though and that impaired her escape slightly. These dragons are as hardy as I thought. The part that makes it a bit annoying is that since I have to bring them back alive and preferably unharmed, most of my arsenal is on lockdown. If I could slice heads off then I would have been done with the lot of them by now."

The agent scowled at Dusk's comment. "You very well know why we can't do that. I hate these savages as much as any other human, but we could learn the secret to everlasting life! Do you understand that? We could live for hundreds of years, if not forever if we could figure out the gene that makes them live so long," he stated, shifting his gun to his other shoulder. "We've been closing in on her lately, which made her nervous. We got a lucky break that she even ventured into the city, which we still have no clue why. Once she gets to the country, though, it will be trying to find a needle in a haystack," he then explained, staring off into the sun as it began to disappear. It was sunset now and would soon be dark.

Mirina shut off the phone feeling sick to her stomach. Her brother was gone, she figured that. He hadn't gone off or was sitting outside. He didn't pick up and that was bad. She took in a deep breath and shook her head, it couldn't gave happened not to her! She quickly threw on her jacket and grabbed her bag. She'd pray that it wasn't the android that took her brother just plain agents. She took in a deep breath and ran outside flinging the door shut upon exit. She started running around the building in search of her brother, no luck. She then decided to run down the alley they had came from and look for a truck somthing!

After a few minuets of searching she hid in the shadows by a building, seeing the android. Then noticing the agent her stomach lurched, somone was inside the armored van... After she saw the phone laying on the ground, cracked, she knew that her brother was inside. She could follow, the darkness would cover her and maybe she could get him back. But even as headstrong as she was she knew it'd be suicide to enter the facility.

Dusk shook his head in disappointment. Was he the only person here who was not in it to disobey the natural order? There was a saying he had heard and he believed in it. Proof of it as truth has been seen over the centuries. When humans try to extend their time, they waste what time is given to them. The saying stated that it not how much time you have but what do you with what time is given to you. He believed that these Gemini agents would fail in such an endeavour as humans have as usual. Still, extended life would come in handy. He could use the extra time to keep at his work but he wasn't putting his hopes on it or planning for it either.

"Well I have the girl under my watch. I left a marker on the building. We could take her and the other dragon now. If anything goes wrong then we can simply make a strategic withdrawal with the cargo we already have. You should make your decision quickly. I cannot keep our recently acquired cargo comatose all night and he will have to be taken to a base of operations ASAP to ensure his containment."

The agent pursed his lips together in a hard line then sighed. "Of course, of course. Go ahead with your current plan. You're in charge of this pick up since you were the one to give us their location." He shifted his weight to his other leg and flipped a switch to charge his gun. "Let's bring these hybrids in."

Mirina cringed at the gun and darted back towards the building. She needed to hide everything! The books, the safe deffinatly and get Tyra out of her comatose state. She knew there was a safe room downstairs but she never found it. In a second she saw the building come back into sight. Hurrying was no longer key, she needed to concenrate on this. She huffed slightly as she opened the door then shut it behind her.

Instantly she ran into the bedroom Tyra now occupied. She furriously shook the guest, "Get up! Oh God wake up pleaaase!!" She looked around and decided that she might not wake up... She ran out the room and started hiding things. The house was filled with information on Gemini she had gotten from random people, if she lost it then she couldn't get most of it back. Soon everything was hidden even the safe and she re-entered the bedroom.

Dusk nodded. He turned his attention to one of the agents who seemed he would be of the least use during the capture. "Now can you handle the task of bringing in this captive while the rest come with me to capture the other two? I don't want any surprises and one of those surprises I would especially not want to find is that while a capture is going on, my catch was rescued. After turning the male dragon in, return for the other two which we should have by the time you get back." He turned in the direction of the house before running to one of the buildings nearby and quickly scaling the wall.

Dusk signalled for the others to follow from the ground while he moved along the rooftops. After that, he stepped into the shadows and seemed to vanish as he took off. He made no sound and there was no sight of him at all with the darkness on the rooftops. He would quite literally not be seen coming but he had the feeling that he was going to be expected. He could enlist the same plan as before. The agents could go in, drawing the dragon's attention in the process and he would sneak up behind the prey and immobilize it.

The human remained unmoving despite her cries for attention.. She pushed her body against the grate, unlike the other grate this one was very strong and sturdy there would be no way she could force her way through it...

Rikka noticed a ajar window across the room...however that wasn't helping her now, stuck in this vent. Wait a moment.. perhaps there was another vent in or out...She couldn't go back to far, she'd never find her way back to this building.

She made her way back through the darkness in search of an entrance. Eventually she found a vent-less hole, this one leading outside. She jumped out and landed into a another damp ally This one set apart by a lone open window.

She ran up to in an jumped onto the windowsill and into the house, landing silently beside the large bed.

Tyra groaned and clenched her eyes shut tightly for a moment, but it was useless. The toxin had already infected her body and until it wore off, she was stuck in an unconscious state. She was slightly aware that something was wrong and Mirina's voice seemed to reach her once in a while but she felt stuck, as if her spirit was trapped in her lifeless body.

--------

The agent nodded and saluted to the higher agent then jumped up into the drivers' seat, starting the engine and driving off. The rest of the task force set out behind Dusk, looking much like a S.W.A.T. team from their appearance. When the reached the house, they awaited Dusk's signal then kicked the door down. "Clear!" the head agent yelled after checking out the main living room and finding no one, "They must be upstairs! Move quickly!" Plasma guns buzzed as they began to charge up and the task force skillfully made their way up the stairs to the bedroom above.

Mirina heard the crash downstairs and quickly pulled Tyra down behind the bed and pushed her underneath, "Shh stay quiet!" She then hid inside the closet behind some coats. She was so paniced she decided to hide in a more obvious place. Tyra was more powerful than her and could do more damage, but she was still almost unresponsive. She looked through the crack in the door hoping they'd forget the room. Only check a few even!

Rikka jumped a foot in the air she Heard the Crash, leaping up onto the to the large silken bed and nearly falling out the window. The human that once rested there was gone, and the clack of hangers bouncing off each other emanated from a nearby closet..

She unconsciously returned to her humanoid form.

Something wasn't right here... Something told her that she'd picked the wrong humans to leech off of.

Dusk entered the building right after the agents did. He looked around the living room, narrowing his eyes. It seemed that the two girls had moved to another room. Still, they might have something important hidden around the place. Plans, possible whereabouts of other non-humans and stolen Gemini equipment were amongst the possible items they could find. He motioned to the agents to be silent, placing his index finger over his mouth as the signal. "After the capture, I want every inch of this place searched. For now, we have to find them. Fan out and begin searching. Call the rest is anything happens and ensure that every place they could fit in is searched." He spoke quietly, almost inaudible to any humans not both in the room and near enough to him.

Dusk walked along, checking at each room for the sound of breathing before moving along. He moved silently and let the agents be the ones to open the doors in the event that any traps might be sitting around the place. His search stopped at the bedroom when he put his ear to the door and heard the faint sound of breath being drawn. Yes, he had found their hiding place or at least where one of them would be. He gestured to the nearest agent to him to alert the others to his find and converge on the bedroom. Soon, they would be ready to take the currently comatose dragon and her accomplice.

Mirina saw the shadows outside the door in a slight panic Mirina moved backwards trying to hide deeper in the closet, hopfully they wouldn't be found... Mirina felt a bit uneasy. Soon she felt like she was shrinking. At the worst possible time she was transforming! She bit her lip and let it occur, she couldn't stop it. She burried herself under some blankets. Her Dragon form was diffrent, smaller than a kitten almost. Blue and fuzzy aswell atleast she could claw and attack them... Well maybe not well but she could try!

It was actually a good thing at the moment that Tyra was unconscious, because since she was asleep, her breathing was soft and barely audible. Though, it was quite dusty beneath the bed and the tiny particles were beginning to tickle her nose. She couldn't help if she sneezed, it was the body's natural reaction.

---------

The head agent nodded towards Dusk and waved his finger in a signal to fan out. Several of them accompanied the android up to the second floor while others searched the kitchen and bathrooms. It wasn't long before the first floor was totally secured. No one was going to be escaping that way for a while.

Rikka sat dumbfounded on the bed, half-expecting the sleeping blue-haired human to reappear and scare her again; She could hear noises coming from outside the bedroom door...slight sounds, but there nonetheless

"Maybe Thats the human" she thought as she inched toward the door..

Dusk tapped the icon on his chest, engaging his cloak before opening the door. To anyone who had not seen him activate the cloaking device, it would appear as if the door was opening by itself. He silently made his way into the room. Now where could those two be? His thoughts were interrupted when he came across a third person who he had not seen enter. Another non-human most likely, based on the situation and he assumed her to be in league with his targets. He reached out and grabbed her by the neck before disengaging his cloak and activating the electric shock inducer in his gauntlet, keeping it on the setting he usually employed to deal with dragons just for good measure.

With the unexpected guest his targets had now neutralized, he pulled two more needles from the compartment in his suit before jabbing them into her neck. That should keep her out of it long enough for them to transport her. If he had to keep hitting people with those needles then his supply would dry out soon. After this, he planned to restock on needles and possibly try to engineer a more potent neurotoxin but hopefully one which would cease voluntary muscle movement only and not stop the heart. He walked away from the doorway and set his quarry down on the floor with her back against the wall.

Dusk turned his attention to the bed and closet. Under the bed and in the closet would be the most likely places for them to hide based on space requirements. He would have to check both but not knowing what might be lurking there, he decided that having an agent check for him would be easier. He called out "Up here!" While he waited for the other agents to arrive, he walked towards the closet. His right hand immediately went for his modified katana. It could serve to deter against fighting back as one false move could mean death by a electrically charged blade with an edge capable of splitting a hair in half down the middle.
