Acer Jones
Acer sat in his next class, hiding a tiny smile behind his hands. Everyone had been so nice. It was...odd to say the least, but it felt really good to be around people who actually seemed to like his company.


Now was creative writing, which was one of his favorite classes. There was something wonderful about being able to create a world in your mind and have it translated on paper for another to be able to admire.


In the list of warm-up prompts, there was one titled "new beginnings" and he pulled out a fresh sheet of paper so he could get to work.


The hand which held mine held another. She tugged at my heart strings while her heart belonged to the man I called my best friend. It created a painful feeling inside, yet I had to put one foot in front of the other. Though I was abandoned and empty, I continued onward, fingers raw from scraping forward, heart covered in scars. So how was it that despite my wishes to keep locked away, my heart began to beat faster when I saw him? A man I'd barely met, yet stirred feelings long forgotten. Could I dare believe that the heart which was broken might be mended with new love?


Patting his cheeks to hide the color which had risen to them, he looked up toward the clock. Warm-up writing time was almost over, and they would soon be going along with the lesson.

Acer Jones


Hiding his face in his notebook, Acer started thinking about it more. He was actually invited to a party..that was pretty cool. It had been a while since he allowed himself to have fun and just let go. It would likely be a good thing for him, though the fact he was developing a little crush on one of his sister's new friends was something he would be keeping to himself.


They seemed like good people. Certainly a huge step up from Queen whatever her name was and the popular girls with their Jock lapdogs.

" Well I made plans for later, but if we miss practice then I'm not exactly sure what to do, I know that I'm going to skip practice you don't have to if you don't want to" she stopped to look at him​

Jon looked back at her and said"I want to skip practice with you, to be honest i kinda like you" there jon you said it it is out there now and you don't have to worry about it now. "I could drive you around the farm and the country till we do the stuff you had planned. If you want." Jon puts the bar back on her "Push hard do another set for me." Jon looks at her muscles.

Smoke filled Rhett's lungs while being exhaled through his nostrils. He didn't feel like going into his next class in fear of being confronted by Alexey. He had been purposefully missing classes the past few days due to the confession he'd gotten from one of his closest friends. At the time he had been completely blown away and even now his feelings were still jumbled in several painful knots. His stomach churned slightly as he pushed away from the wall and wandered from the tree he had been standing beneath. Looking toward the school he could see most of the students had already disappeared back into the building to attend their classes. Taking in another huff of the toxic stick, he exhaled the toxins moments later and quickly put it out. Bad habits die hard.


Breathing in the nicotine once more before walking toward the school, he tries not to think much over the Alexey issue. As soon as he touched the campus soil his phone buzzed. Expecting a dealer to be trying to contact him Ryder removed his phone from his pocket and looked over the screen. Alex. His heart immediately sped up and raced up into his throat. It hurt and there was nothing he knew of doing other than going home and lighting another cigarette. It was obvious that he wouldn't be able to keep hiding from the situation...sighing, he unlocked his screen and read over the text.


Oh, Alexey... His eyes closed halfway before he finally made up his mind and typed a reply. He hit send shortly afterward.


Text: (because the son of a bitch won't work for me...)


Meet me in the Music room.

Alexey:





Alex felt his phone vibrate during class, discreetly he took it out of his pocket and nearly dropped it from shock when he saw the text from Rhett.


Raising his hand, he put the phone away and approached the teacher, explaining that his sister was having certain "trouble" and that she needed him to pick some things up for her.


As he left the class, he figured Rayna would kill him for getting out of class by blaming her period. But right now he didn't care. He bolted faster than he ever ran on track for the music room.


He got there fairly fast and hung around outside, the room was locked so he had beaten Rhett to the room. His hands fidgeted and he looked around like he was going to be caught doing something.


Alex and Rhett had been friends for a while now.. a long while and at first Alex put his feelings down to a strong friendship. However as time went on he could tell those feelings began to change. become different. Alex had eventually buckled and explained everything to his sister. She had been the one to clarify his feelings, asked the right questions that opened Alex's eyes to what his feelings truly were.





Alex then decided to declare his feelings for Rhett. He had not heard from him since so this would be the first time.

Rayna:





Rayna had gotten her brothers text and she seethed when he had said she was on her period so he had to get out of class.


However once she read the end of the text she went from angry to worried.


Rhett was back and had text her brother to talk so thats what they were doing.


She took out her phone and fired off texts to Athena and Ash briefing them on what was going on.


She was worried, not only for her brother but what it could mean for her and Ash.


If his brother and Rhett wound up together would it give Ash the push he needed to go after Sabrina.


There was a lot riding on their meeting and all they could do is wait...

Athena almost finished filling in her picture she drew. Athena was very impressed with herself. She took the cigarette out of her mouth and blew out a puff of smoke from her mouth. She then heard her phone go off.

She read the texts from Rayna telling her what was going on with Alex and Rhett. Athena was a bit worried for Alex, hoping is heart won't be broken but she was also proud of him for going to declare his feelings.

Athena began to type up something, showing that she cared enough, which Athena completely does. @The Dragon Rider​

Okay, Rayna, do you need me to come out of class to wait with you? If not tell Alex I give him my best support.

Rayna opened her phone and read the message from Athena, her class now forgotten.


She fired back a quick response to the other girl.


Don't know where they are meeting.


Might as well carry on as normal.


Hope everything goes well.


but I am kind of worried.

Rayna closed her phone. She was now nervous for herself as well.


She knew she said maybe keeping quiet but she needed advice and Athena was the girl for it.

Athena's phone buzzed once again, it was Rayna, just as she expected.

She read the text and quickly responded.

Text: Okay, I hope everything goes well too. And don't be worried I'm sure everything will be okay. Just breathe. If you ever need me I'm here.

(On phone so I can't really use the phone thing so...)​

Rayna opened the text and glanced it over. There were 5 minutes left in class.


She typed out the next response.


Ditch class and chat?


I just really need to talk right now.





She put the phone away and watched the clock tick down the last few minutes before the ringing of the bell.

Text message: Yes of course, meet me outside of the art room.

Athena then quickly packed up her things and convinced the teacher (with her acting skills) that she was feeling ill.

The teacher put out her smoke and wrote down a slip for the nurse.

Athena smiled and walked out of the art room, waiting for Rayna. @The Dragon Rider​

Ash was lifting and didnt realize his phone went off until a little bit ago so he picked it up and looked at the message.

Brooklyn finished her set before giving Jon an answer, Mainly because she need a minute to comprehend what he had told her. When she finished stood so she could see him better. "yeah that sounds good" she turned and walked towards the locker room to get her water bottle, but turned back towards him "hey Jon, to be honest I kinda like you too" she walked in the locker room​

Rayna's phone buzzed again with the Text from Ash. She was making her way towards Athena and she decided to be honest with what she told him.


It's ok,


Alex is speaking with Rhett now.


Not sure whats going to happen.


Meeting with Athena.





She left the text open ended incase he wanted to join them.


Her nerves were getting the better of her as her hands shook slightly.


Her feelings were rattled. between herself and Ash and Alex and Rhett.

Ash looked at the message and read it he was kind of nervous because he never hear of Rhett and Ranya put it in a bad way of text.

After texting that Ash picked up his stuff putting on a t-shirt and leaving on his shorts since he was rushing right now.

Rayna opened the text and gave a small smile before texting back the location.


She stood waiting outside, under the bleachers for Athena and Ash to show up.


She knew her and Ash would need to talk more but that would come later.


She only hoped that she could keep her emotions under control,


As her brother would say she could be quite emotional and tended to wear her heart on her sleeve.

As he takes a drink of water

Brooklyn grabbed her phone and quickly sent her coach a text letting her know that she has a 'doctors appointment' and can't go to practice, she turns to answer Jon "sure" she quickly put her phone back in the locker room as he went to get a drink. She walked back out "ready"​

Jon looks at her and smiles and says "one two three go" he take of running around the track as he is running he says "I am not a runner" Jon is so out of breath he starts to gag and has to get a drink of water. "Brooklyn as a QB you don't need to run as much and you see why I am a QB"

After getting the ovation texted to him he started running threw the hall but he barely made a sound while he ran thanks to middle school track during the period of time he was into sports very very much. As he was running he saw Ranya and slowed his pace down "I made it now can you explain to me what's so bad" he said as he painted a little since he ran around the whole school since he didn't know where he was because he was in a big rush.​

Rayna:





Rayna took a deep breath and began to explain.


Remember how I explained that my brother was in a similar position as you?,


Well he is and it was with Rhett, only he did not keep quiet about his feelings.


he told Rhett exactly how he felt and Rhett vanished for a few days, did not answer texts or calls.


Now all of a sudden he is back and agreed to meet with my brother.


I don't know whats happening and I am scared because....





She folded her arms and and said no more, the conclusion was obvious.


The outcome of her brothers situation could and probably would reflect on the growing development between Ash, Rayna and Sabrina.

Rhett made sure to enter the school through a back way. He was close enough with the janitor to get to learn his entrances and what not. It would be easy for him to get the keys to the Music Room being why he had chosen the place. He shuffled into the school and made a quick stop at the janitor's closet on the first floor. Snatching the keys from one of many holding spots on the wall, Rhett rushed away. The last thing he would need is to be stopped by a teacher, especially with the nicotine still lingering around him.


Ryder's legs nearly broke out into a sprint as he moved up the staircase leading to the second floor. He picked up the pace closing the space left between himself and Alex who would most likely have beaten him there. The keys were removed from his pocket as the other male came into his sights; only a few more doors to pass then he would be face to face with his best friend. His hands shook nervously but he refused to make himself look like too much of a fool. It was bad enough that he was on campus without a uniform or looking properly groomed. His hair was absolutely everywhere.


As he reaches the locked door he uses the keys and opens it up. He goes in first and holds it open for Alexey. The Music Room was pretty empty now that Band had been moved into a different part of the school. "Hey, Alex." He finally spoke while looking at his friend.

Ash looked at Ranya shaking a little and put a hand on her shoulder and looked at her saying "Its alright I'm here for you ill help you out with anything" he said as he kissed Ranya's fore head than looked at her kindly thinking "I need to clear things up with Sabrina and ell her how I feel so I can et this weight off my chest" he was suprised himself about Alex being Homosexual but that blew off him quickly.​

Brooklyn couldn't help but laugh when Jon stopped running, not meaning to show off she continued and ran another lap "I'm surprised it seem like you would be more of a runner"​
