He sighed, opening his mouth then closing it in thought. "You cannot simply... stop learning. You learn everyday. Its not knowledge that makes you weak or independent. Yet charecter"

"Mummy and Daddy tried to raise me to meek and dependent," said Cecelia. "They thought an education might interfere with that."

"As i said, knowledge is a benefit that adds to charecter. Yet, you cannot starve someone of it to make them meek and dependent. Yet does the opposite, by not being given knowledge you learned that your parents where not reliable therefore became independent and began to think for yourself. Since they never told you anything, you became forward with them. Its s shame how its never thought through" he said with a sigh

Cecilia smiled brightly.


"That was quite well said, sir," said Cecilia.

Daniil smiled back "Why thankyou" he said his eyes dancing with light

"Is the food here good?" Cecilia asked.

He sat up slightly "Quite so, in my opinion anyway" He nodded, opening the menu

Cecilia opened hers as well.


"Is there anything you recommend?" she asked.

"The filled baguette is quite nice" He said with a slight nod

 

[SandraDeelightful]

"Then I shall get that," Cecilia said.

"You choice, shall you take tea?" He asked and closed the menu.

"Depends," said Cecilia. "Do they serve wine?"

"Only the best" he replied with a gracious smile

"Then I will get that instead of tea," said Cecelia.


Alice walked up to her.


"Miss Blythe, I don't think your parents would approve," said Alice.


Cecilia waved her off.

He smiled "Its the gentlemans job to grant the ladys wish." He called a waiter over "Two baguettes. A glass of french red and some tea if you wouldn't mind" he smoothed his suit and looked back at her.

"Mummy and Daddy would not approve of this," said Cecilia with a mischievous smile on her face.

He laughed "Quite the rebellious spirit" he noted. He ran a hand through his hair in habit, his hand having a crisscross of silver scars.

"Is that a bad thing?" Cecilia asked with a smile.

 

[XxLuluxX]

"...Not necessarily. It all depends on perspective you see. Rebellious could mean you're either brave or stupid, theres a very fine line. Or it could mean your passionate about your cause, maybe it shows the relationship between your parents and yourself" He deducted and leaned back, relaxed.

"Another good speech," said Cecilia smiling. "You are quite the good speaker Daniil."

"I take it with pride" he smiled "Being able to speak in... such a way opens many doors." He said with a slight tilt of his head

Cecilia gave him a smile.


"You should take pride in it."
