"It seems we do," said Cecilia with a small smile. "I take it your parents don't get along very well?"

"Well, today has been oddly... enlivening" Daniil stated, his hands tucked loosely in his pockets.

"It has been," Cecilia agreed with a smile.

He gave a small smile back, running a hand through his hair pushing it out his eyes. He paused by the parks gate and oooked at his pocket watch.

"What time is?" she asked.

"12 o'clock on the dot. What time is it we've got to get back?" He asked, tilting his head down to meet her gaze

"Daddy said he wants me back before dark," said Cecilia.

 

[XxLuluxX]

"I see. Well your free to leave, if not would you care to take lunch with me?" He offered, slipping his watch back into his breast pocket.

"I'd actually enjoy lunch," said Cecilia with a smile.

Daniil nodded with a smile playing on his lips "I know a place not far, that looks out onto the park"

"Take me there," Cecilia commanded with a smile.

"As you wish m'lady" he bowed mockingly and offered his arm.

 

[SandraDeelightful]

Cecilia laughed as she took his arm.

At a leisurely pace he walked her to a upstanding little café. He lead her inside with a smile and a familiar nod to staff

"How charming," said Cecilia as she looked around.

"It is quite, isn't it?" He replied and in a gentlemanly manner, pulled out a chair for her

 

[SandraDeelightful]

"Thank you," said Cecilia as he did so. "Why don't you tell me about yourself?"

He sat opposite her and smiled "What is there to know?"

 

[SandraDeelightful]

"I don't know," said Cecilia. "You know yourself better than I do."

"Hmm, I've recently returned from a military campaign in Arabia, My name is actually russian, and i can speak two languages

 

[SandraDeelightful]

"What other language do you speak?"

 

[XxLuluxX]

"Arabic and German, a strange mix i know" He said with a small laugh

 

[SandraDeelightful]

"I can speak a little French and a little German," said Cecilia. "I taught myself. Mummy and Daddy don't support women's rights to an education as much as I do."

 

[XxLuluxX]

"An education should be fundamental to all genders. After all its what splits us from being mere beasts, does it not?" He said slightly surprised.
