What about separate parts of different broken Regalia?Sounds good to me. But a broken Regalia still counts as a Regalia, so your character cannot possess them initially.

That's the idea. He's trying to study small, broken parts, believing they'll provide insight into the composition of the whole object.A few small-scale fragements that are essentially of no use, but might provide some insight to the right mind. Probably like two to three parts.
