Fantasy Apocalyptic (Always Accepting)

JENNA

She looked quite adequate to camp over for the night and the sun was setting. She awaited patiently for the decision as she sighed softly

Ashe

Ashe raised her eyebrow when Jesse seemed to ask for her permission. She was good at leading, but that was about it in this whole mess. Yet she nodded at Jesse. "That's fine. We need to find food as well."

JESSE

Jesse nodded, pulling out his gun and creeping forward with practiced stealth. He kicked open the door and looked around the small building, searching for movement. "Clear!" He called, reopening the door. "Nothing in here for a while. And as for food, I have plenty, just raided a house." He offered, pulling off his messenger bag.

JENNA

"I have two MRE's with me that I can cook as well ... we can share that whenever... brought them along for me along from University" she plainly stated "But that's about it"

Ashe

Ashe followed Jesse, while he kicked open the door. She had her knife in her hand but it was clear. Thank god. She looked at Jesse and Jenna and nodded. "I have some food left as well. Chips, bars, cookies and stuff. Nothing too fancy but it will do." She dropped her backpack in the shed and looked around. It was quite dark. A small window high above the ground, let a small beam inside. "I guess this will be our sleeping place for tonight. Are you sure you want to guard?" she asked Jesse, a bit worried, "I meant it when I said you do need sleep."

HARLEY

"I don't care what we eat, as long as it's soon." Harley sighed, walking into the shed and looking around. "Damned depressing place, isn't it? Not where you'd go for a honeymoon." She stated, watching Jesse stare into every dark corner like the abyss of hell would open up just for him.

JESSE

"I'll be fine, I slept last night. If you're okay with it." Jesse was keen to avoid a leadership fight. Some people had said he was a great leader. The rest that knew were dead. "Let me find something to bar up the door, I'll be back in a minute." He sighed, walking back outside and hunting around.

Ashe

Ashe turned around to look at Harley. "I didn't know this was a honeymoon," she joked. She tried smiling at the girl before watching Jesse leave. She sat herself down on the ground and opened her back. She grabbed a bottle of water out of it and took a small sip. "Anyone else?"

JENNA

Jenna was hesitant about going inside, the darkness was uneasy for her and the small shed with four people was going to get her go mental. She stayed quiet about it but the uneasiness look on her face could not be helped. She sighed as she remained by the door examining, she didn't recall Ashe's offer as she was more focused on the tightness.

HARLEY

"I'd love to make it a honeymoon, sweetheart." Harley smirked. She was really just flirting to flirt at this point, she didn't like Ashe enough to sleep with her. That was a first for Harley, having standards. Now the Jenna girl....

JESSE

"Got something." Jesse called, reappearing with some wood and a hammer, even a few nails. "The hammer and nails are mine, but the wood was luck. Nailing us in now, so if anyone needs to use the restroom, speak up." Jesse offered.

JENNA

Entering barely just made her edgy let alone staying in, she had to move out "I need to head out for a tad," sweat beaded down her forehead as she quickly sprinted out of the shed and let out a loud gasp and sigh when she made some distance. She felt the walls closing in the few steps she made let alone stay.

Ashe

Ashe rolled her eyes at Harley. "Buy me dinner first," she joked before glancing at Jenna. She seemed sick. When the girl started running out of the shed, Ashe got up and followed her. A few meters further she saw the redhead. "Hey... are you alright?"

JESSE

Jesse watched the girl run out, but made no move to follow her. Claustrophobe, most likely. Weakness. Weakness got you killed, so Jesse avoided it at all cost. Instead, he sat down beside Harley.

HARLEY

"Here." Harley said, handing Jesse some canned corn. "I bought you dinner, let's get this show on the road." She ordered, smirking.

"Tempting. I do normally sell my body for green beans, why's corn any different?" Jesse said sarcastically.

JENNA

Her face was in her hands as she rand her hands through her fiery red-hair. Her face was coated with sweat as her eyes seemed as if bit teary-eyed. As she hear the sudden female voice she wiped her tears away quickly and gave her back for a few till she adjusted. "Yeah.. yeah I'm fine.. Don't worry" her voice was a tad cracked for the girl to be alright.

Ashe

Ashe softly placed a hand on the girls back. "You are not alright, Jenna. Is it the shed? Or the darkness?" She remembered how she shot down the idea of a fire. Perhaps the girl was just afraid of the dark. It was possible.

JENNA

She flinched lightly as she felt her hand on her back as her body was in a rush of shocks right now. She tried to put up a brave face but she couldn't all she did was crouch down into a ball, balancing on her feet. However a sniff escaped her and nodded lightly as she softly let out "Both... Both"

JESSE

Jesse stood up and looked around, unearthing a lantern. It still had a bit of gas in it, so he pulled out his lighter and lit it, giving the shed a soft glow. Not enough to bring Zombies. But enough to make the shed look homey. "I think we're good!" He called softly. "But we need to get inside, or we won't make it very long." He continued.

Ashe

Ashe sighed. "I am sorry Jenna. Here, have some water." She handed the bottle to the girl who was on the ground. "If you want, we can find something bigger. There are houses here." She rather didn't do that, since the chance of zombies in houses was big. But she had to help Jenna a little bit. She looked over her shoulder towards the shed, where she saw a dim light. "Look, there is light. Does that make it a bit better?"

HARLEY

"Guys, it's getting dark. I hate to push, but I'm going to push! They'll be here any minute." Harley called, a bit of nervousness in her voice.

JENNA

She took the bottle in her hand and slowly took a swig as she slowly stood up on her feet and sighed "I don't think it is wise to search for another shed and get us killed because of me... rather that I try to adapt to the shed myself" she said handing over the water once she heard Harley's voice she looked at her and nodded "We should probably go, I don't want us to get stuck in the middle again"

JESSE

Jesse let out a sigh of relief when the girls walked back in. Instantly, he started boarding the door up, leaving the window open for Jenna. "Nothing dead is getting through here." He said after a minute. He took up his place facing the door, gun in each hand. "Get some sleep girls. You'll need it." He said simply, never moving his sharp gaze.

Ashe

Ashe helped getting Jenna back into the shed. She sat down in a corner and grabbed her colt phyton out of it's holster. Her fingers were sliding over the grip, where her dads initials were carved in. She felt her stomach turn, so she put it away again. She grabbed a bar out of her bag and ate it. After she finished it, she stared at Jesse who was guarding the door. She wasn't sure how she felt about someone she didn't now guarding the door.

JESSE

He watched the girls settle down, but he knew Ashe for one wouldn't sleep. She was suspicious and untrusting. He was the same way, so he said nothing about it. But if anything went after them, he'd stop it, no matter the cost. He wouldn't let another person die because of his stupidity.

JENNA

She felt relief as she saw the window open at least air could be ventilated in and out. She found an unoccupied corner and from her pack she took out a blanket to which she opened and layed down on. She curled up in a ball hugging her knees to her chest with her back towards the wall and used her pack as a pillow. She slowly closed her eyes and attempted to sleep, the girl was exhausted but she had to trust, she easily trusted but at this point if backstabbed she couldnt careless as she wasn't capable of violence which can get her killed.

HARLEY

Harley laid down beside Jesse, staring up at him. "Maybe you should get some sleep. You look exhausted." She noticed.

"I'll be fine. Go to sleep, Harley." Jesse said flatly. She sighed. It was damned impossible to get him to open up.

Ashe

Ashe kept staring at Jesse, like he was about to jump up and attack her anytime soon. She felt her eyes getting heavier. She noticed that Jenna already dozed off and fell asleep. Harley was about to do the same. Every now and then her eyes closed, but they immediately opened again. After fighting her tiredness for a few minutes, she fell asleep.
