HARLEY

"One of us should keep watch. I need my beauty sleep, and there is no chance in hell that I trust Sweetheart. I vote Jesse." Harley said bluntly.

JESSE

"I agree. No offense, Ashe. But I trust myself and only myself." Jesse said, his hand still lingering on his gun. Any noise caused him to look around warily. He had survived by his cautiousness, and he had no intention of losing it now.

Ashe

Ashe rolled her eyes. "And how am I supposed to trust the both of you?Who says you guys won't be killing me in my sleep or steal my stuff." She especially looked at Jesse, who had his gun pointed at her earlier. "No offense, Jess." She grinned and crossed her arms.

HARLEY

Harley whistled lowly. Jessie's face was rock hard with anger, but he said nothing. "Wow, you really do have a death wish." Harley noted. "I wouldn't call him that again if I were you. It'll end very badly for your health. Jesse. Don't kill our new friend." She advised, laying her hand on Jesse's muscled arm.

JESSE

Jesse looked over at Harley. "No promises." He said, quoting her. "If you don't trust us, Ashe, feel free to find your own place to stay. We can meet you in the morning, if that's what you prefer." He offered bluntly.

Ashe

Ashe ignored Harley, while she kept staring at Jesse. Of course she noticed the anger on his face. Yet it only amused her. "No promises either," she replied at Harley, who said she shouldn't do that another time. She then shrugged. She was a fighter. She wasn't specialised in material arts for nothing. If one of them tried shit, she could attack them. "No it's fine," she announced, "you can keep guard. For the first part of the night. After that we are switching. You need your sleep too."

JESSE

Jesse smirked at the sentence. "I haven't slept since this shit started." He muttered, thinking of his uneasy dozed, one eye half open for sensing movement.

HARLEY

Harley could foresee trouble for the group. Jesse mostly trusted her, but he had trouble trusting others. This other girl was too stubborn, too foolhardy. Even Harley had pretended to be nice for a few days while Jesse got used to her. He'd had a rough life.

Ashe

"I don't care," Ashe announced, "you need sleep. I am not going to have you being reckless because you lack sleep." She then turned to Harley, "or is it just stupid that I am telling someone that sleep is important?" She expected her to agree.

HARLEY

If the girl expected Harley to become her 'BFF', she was wrong. "Jesse is a big boy. He can make his own choices." She said simply. "I trust him with my life. If you can't trust us, why are you here?" Harley shot back.

Ashe

Ashe rolled her eyes. This clearly was not going to be as easy as she thought it was going to be and if it would keep going like this, she was gone in no time. With her knife in her hand, she started walking away from the two, trying to find an empty building where they could spend the night.

HARLEY

Harley and Jesse walked together, away from Ashe. "I don't like her." Harley said softly.

"I don't either." Jesse agreed, voice low. "But she's the best we have right now. We need to bring a group together, it'll help us survive."

JENNA

The girl had been looting a nearby building which quite looked a store nearby, she had her crossbow ready and on one of her knives at a stance to which she carefully started walking down the isles as she arrived near a door to which she busted open. However it was not smart choice as a wave of like 6 zombies hoarded out of the door and almost junked her if she didn't move back. Loud groaning and hissing came as they limped for her one managing to pin her down as she let out a loud vibrating scream. She was in a state of panic as she grasped him from the neck she reached for an arrow, her hand fumbling around for it and nailed it in it's head as it spurted out blood across her face and chest, she crawled her way down the isle as her crossbow was now in between the walking corpses. She grasped a knife in hand and tried to make her way out but as she was about to two others came from the opposite end, circling her and this was a stated of close ranged combat and she wasn't quite an expert in and yet wasn't violent and she needed that to save her ass right now. She didn't quite have time to think so needed to act.

JESSE

Jesse heard a piercing scream nearby. He was off in an instant. "Stay here, keep Ashe back!" He bellowed toward Harley. He sprinted as fast as he could, pulling out a pistol. He crashed through the door of a store, seeing a group of zombies chasing a young girl. He aimed, shooting them all easily with his silenced weapons. "Any more?" He called loudly, approaching the girl.

JENNA.

She was starting to over panic however she heard someone bust through the door, she figured it was another being but in a fraction of a second as she could finally saw her crossbow at a clear get to reach but she couldn't risk it. She was at loss of words however when he asked she pointed towards the door she had opened as if to check if there aren't any more as that's where they came from. "I----In t-there" she swore she saw more maybe like one or two but she was not sure.

JESSE

Jesse nodded, sprinting toward the door and kicking it open, putting a bullet in the head of any undead he saw. Finally,

He returned to the girl, pistol still in his hand. "Are you alright?" He asked, helping her up with his free hand.

Ashe

Ashe had been walking on the road when she had heard the noises. Jesse had told her to stay back. "What?!" she yelled, offended. She rolled her eyes, before looking at Harley. She wanted to run after him, but decided not to. She was not much of a use and she did not want to get in another bitching fight with one of them. She started playing with her knife, running it through her fingers.

JENNA

The girl was still under the shock that she had almost gotten killed by a horde due to her recklessness, she took his offered hand and hoisted herself up and nodded. "N--not sure... was c-caught off guard" she usually never stuttered but in these situations she tended to. She gulped as when she took his hand he actually felt like flesh and bones and not a walking corpse, especially he didn't look like one either but then she realized she was staring as she couldn't believe that a living being was still wandering the face of the Earth. "F-forgive my staring... I am just at a loss of w-words... I d-didn't know people were s-still alive"

HARLEY

Harley rocked back and forth on her feet. It took her all of two minutes to lose her patience, sprinting forward. If Jesse died, she'd never forgive herself. She noticed a store with glass around the door. Jesse. He wouldn't take the patient route like opening the door. Silenced gunshots rang out, and she ran toward them. "Jesse!" Harley cried, running into his arms. "Thank God you're okay."

Ashe

Ashe rolled her eyes when Harley was definitely over reacting about Jesse. Yet she didn't quite care if he'd died or not. She just met him. It would've been a shame, of course. More people meant a bigger chance on surviving. She kept standing where she was standing, still playing with her knifes while she glanced at Jesse and Harley.

JENNA.

Another living being. Now she really couldn't believe her eyes as she rubbed them and shook her head to make sure she was not imagining and she wasn't as she slid her knife back in her holster round her thigh. She looked back at her crossbow which was now buried under a pile of decaying corpses. However the girl did not look like a threat and quite the contrary she looked like she wouldn't harm a fly. She simply stayed silent eyeing the two, she didn't venture for her crossbow due to the fact they would think she was making a move on them and she didn't want to end up with a bullet to the head.

JESSE

Jesse walked over to the pile of corpses and dug out her crossbow, handing it to her. "Nice weapon. I prefer the gun, but whatever works for you." He noted, still staring at Harley. She had genuinely seemed to care if he died. Strange. "Where is Ashe?"

HARLEY

"I left her behind, she wasn't as worried as me. Who's the girl?" Harley asked, hand lingering toward her knife.

Jenna

As she was about to grab the crossbow she immediately saw the girl's hand lingering towards her knife and immediately raised her arms in surrender. She gulped lightly as she was afraid at this point as she even took a few steps back.

JESSE

Jesse shot Harley a warning glance and again offered the girl the crossbow. "She won't stab you. I didn't crash through a door for nothing." He sighed. "I'm Jesse, this is Harley. Our other..." He trailed off, looking at Harley. "Partner, I suppose, is waiting for us a while back. What's your name?"

JENNA

She hesitantly took the crossbow from his hand and strapped it on her back instantly "M-my name is Jenna" she spoke softly as her eyes kept darting from the male to the female to the female's knife still wary. "There are three of you? I thought no one but infectious corpses were roaming." the innocent female spoke. Her voice was so soft yet trembled as she was yet scared."I swear I mean no harm"

HARLEY

Harley scoffed. "There are two and a half of us. That Ashe girl is suspicious, I don't like her." She insisted. Jesse gave her another of his customary looks.

"You don't like anyone who gives you competition, Harley." He muttered softly.

JENNA.

She watched as the two conversed unsure if she was safe or not but she didn't want to let her guard down... not that she had any however she raised an eyebrow at what he said "I'm sorry... did you say half?"

JESSE

"Harley doesn't like the half. I mean Ashe. She's a whole. I'm not explaining well. Harley puts people down when they get in the way of what she wants." Jesse explained.

HARLEY

Harley appraised the girl. She was hot. "I'm Harley. And you're beautiful, now aren't you?" She purred, taking her hand from her knife and staring openly at Jenna's chest. Jesse glared at her, but she ignored it.
