Fantasy Anything Goes

Shinu slowly opened his eyes and marveled at the sight before him. In all his travels, he'd never seen anything quite like it before. The trees reminded him of his childhood home, and the waterfall reminded him of his time in Peru, but there was something he'd never seen before; some unseen and unnamed element that he couldn't quite figure out how to describe. It was simply too good for words, and his ears twitched as he spoke. "Victoria, this is incredible. This is....it's all natural occurence?" He asked as he continued to observe.

Victoria shrugs. "I assume so. I ended up here after one of my changes." She looks around and smiles. "It's one of my favorite places to go. It's quiet. Which is something rare in Liondil. It helps me clear my head." Taking her shoes off, she begins to walk around the clearing. The earth was soft from the water, but not muddy. "There's something about this place that's just...calming." She stops and smiles at him.

He followed suit and removed his shoes as well, feeling the soft earth beneath his feet. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been able to relax and enjoy nature like this. He smiled at Victoria and let his thoughts drift back to his youth, and all the adventures he and his brother had when they were children. "Can we live out here?" He asked jokingly.

Victoria laughs. "I suppose we could. We could build a treehouse." She looks up at the trees and wonders what it would be like to live out here. She wouldn't have to worry about hurting anyone anymore.

Shinu chuckled at the idea as he stood beside her and looked up at the moonlight, smiling softly. Part of him had always enjoyed the advantages of living with technology and modern advancements, but the animal in him longed to dwell amongst the trees and rocks of the forest. He'd spent a good portion of his life living that way, and he cherished every memory he had of those days.

Victoria turns around to face the pool of water. She had always wondered how deep it was and if anything interesting rested at the bottom. "This is the farthest out of Liondil I've ever been," she says quietly.

Shinu stared out at the water and thought of all the places he'd been to. In a way, he envied Victoria. She'd led a much simpler life, from what he could tell, and he began to wonder what it would be like to stay in one place for a long time. That was the one thing he'd never done before. The longest he'd ever stayed in one spot had been roughly eight months.

Victoria sighs and walks over to a large rock. Using her less than elegant climbing skills, she gets to the top and sits down. She puts her elbows on her knees and her chin in her hands. "Out of all the places you've traveled to, which one is your favorite?"

Shinu thought for a moment before speaking, lighting a cigarette as he gazed up at the gew stars he could see between the trees. "Well, I have to pick three, because each one has their merits." He said before taking a lond drag. "Kurdistan, because that's where I learned to be a sniper. The desert makes for good people, and life lessons you never forget. Russia has the most incredible natural landscape you'll ever see in your life. But my favorite place of all is where I was born." He said with a soft smile. "I was born in Maryland, about two hours east of the border between there and Pennsylvania. Poor as sin, but the food is worth every second." He said with a fond look in his eyes.

"I doubt you learned to make sushi in Maryland," Victoria says with a laugh. She messed with skirt of her dress and bites her lip. "We could leave. Go somewhere besides here. I don't have anything keeping me here and you just showed up one day. Tsatsu is here, but he just kinda poofed here."

He started to say something, but stopped himself short. Was there anything keeping him here? He thought for a long time before speaking. "Where would we go? Where would you want to go, if you could?" He asked.

Shinu contemplated her reply for some time, twitching his ears in deep thought. Where would he go next, when the time came? He'd have to consult with Tsatsu about that part before he made any plans. But the time was drawing near, he could feel it all around him. It was nearly time for him to leave Liondil, and something told him Victoria would be coming with him.

Aileada closed her eyes with a small smirk tugging at her lips. "Can I change my element to cheeseburger?" She laughed softly before trying to focus on what Tsatsu had said. Summon water? It seemed ridiculous, what did he think she was? As far as she knew she was a plane old human, nothing more nothing less. Aileada forced the ideas down as she imagined water. Her first thought was river she and Tsatsu had gone swimming in. How the water droplets clung to his skin, running down the scars, the way the water slicked back his hair. With her eyes closed her thoughts drifted off from the subject of water to the dark haired wolf.

(Sorry. I had school. Then work. And I'm in a pretty bad mood.)

Victoria bites her lip. "We could go to China. Or Paris. I've always wanted to go to Paris. It seems beautiful."

Tsatsu stared in amazement as he watched. She'd begun to conjure a tiny amout of water from the air, and it was beginning to take the shape of a wolf! As the process continued, the water gradually organized and structured itself, and the image became clearer. He couldn't believe it! "Aileada, whatever you do, do not open your eyes. Keep concentrating. You're doing perfectly." He said, barely above a whisper. "Just keep doing what you're doing."

Her face flushed as she was reminded of her surroundings. All thoughts fled her mind within an instant. Quickly she tried to focus herself back to what she was supposed to be thinking of, but every time she tried to focus she would get side tracked by the thought of Tsatsu and then she would force the thoughts away to avoid the embarrassment of her thoughts.

Tsatsu watched as the water dissipated and became a swirling collection in her palm, spinning like a rainstorm. "Focus your thoughts, Aileada. I don't care what they are, but focus." He instructed. She could clearly use elemental magic, but it was very fragile in its containment. It would take practice to control, but even a chaotic release of magical energy could be useful.

Aileada could almost imagine the wolf's face as he spoke: his sharp, blue eyes staring at her with a look of seriousness, the way his lips curled slightly as he concentrated, the occasional twitch of his ebony ears. A waves of calmness flooded her as her mind continued to depict the male's appearance. She imagined the long scar that traveled down his back below his belt, and how her fingers lightly trailed across each memory engraved into his skin.

(Just stupid teenager problems. My boyfriend cheated on me and then lied to my face. Not a huge deal.)

Victoria smiles brightly. "Ya know... They say Paris is the city of love," she teases.

(I wouldn't say it isn't a huge deal :/ I'm sorry that he treated you like that, while I don't know you, you seem like an amazing person and he's made one hell of a mistake in hurting you, you deserve to be treated better and he should've known that.)

Shinu smirked and shrugged his shoulders. "This is true. There's someone I need to see in Paris anyway. An old friend, who may have a very important package for me to pick up." He said as his eyes lit up for a moment.

(I'm sorry @MissZoeHatter :( If there's anything I can do to help, I'll certainly try.)

Tsatsu sat back and watched the water continue to fluctuate as Aileada's aura began to reveal itself. It was faint, but it was still there. A soft, blue haze began to emanate from the flesh of her hand, glowing like the lantern of a late night watchman.

(Thanks guys. That makes me feel a little bit better...)

Victoria eyes him suspiciously. "An old lover?" She pouts her lip sarcastically and looks down at her lap.
