He shook his head and rub his hands together, hoping that he was about to pronounce the words correctly. Alchemy worked best on inanimate objects, but a single thought could turn a lemon into a basilisk. Another lesson, learned the hard way. As he slapped his hands against the metal, a burst of crimson energy leaped from his body, coursing down from his shoulders and cascading over the bike in a flurry of electricity and energy. The air quickly took on a smell akin to fire and almonds, and a metallic popping noise soon followed. Gradually, the bike began to straighten a bit, enough for it to move properly. After a few moments, the aura receeded, and the boy found himself breathing a bit quicker that usual. The technique had worked, but it had drained him more than he'd expected. Such was the nature of alchemy, he supposed. After a few seconds more, he grasped the handlebars and began to push. The wheels were squeaky, but it moved, and that was all he cared about for the time being. He'd need alot of scrap metal, a hammer, a welder or torch, and every tool in his collection. It would be a lengthy project, if it worked at all, but it could be done. He paused and flashed the smallest hint of a grin in Victoria's direction. "Ready to go?"
