Fantasy Ancient Order of Angels

Heru was endlessly crying to him his world came crashing down it was like he lost his very own father all over again. Heru felt Gil trying to tug at his arm but he jerked it back "I'm not leaving him!....not out here by himself." He said as he sat there feeling helpless. "You said you would never leave....you promised...you promised!" Heru said while he was sobbing. Heru then began to think about all the memories they shared it was like he just forgot about the others were standing there he was so deep in thought he didn't even notice John's presence. Heru then pulled out his phone to call his mother he knew that he was in danger but it would have only been right. "Hello....Ma." Heru says. "Yes....I know why your calling." Heru drops his phone instantly in shock from hearing the sound of his Grandfather's voice. The impact of the phone hitting ground switch the phone to speaker mode so now everyone could hear. "I know your in shock but I am not dead just yet, this old man still has a little time left in him." His Grandfather says over the phone. Heru looked at the body in total shock he couldn't believe what he was seeing or hearing. He didn't even know whether to be happy or just plain angry. Heru walked over to the body and looked at it with utter fear. "But how?" He asked him self trying to wrap his head around the whole idea.

"I know your probably wondering how so let me show you." His Grandfather says. With an instant his body shattered in ruby colored orbs leaving the weeping Heru and the people around him in utter shock. "No your not crazy everyone saw it as well but for now John should be accompanying you right now." His Grandfather says. "John....take care of them I know you know what's going. Gil's Grandfather, the Dean of the school and I will meet you when you get here." His follows up before he hangs up the phone. Heru stood there astounded as he looked at everyone else. Immediately Heru picked up his phone, wiped his eyes and said "Lets go..." And begin heading in to the woods. He did not want to talk about what happen nor did he want to be questioned so he just kept walking trying to clear his head. This event took a huge toll on Heru.

Gil caught up to Heru. "Hey man. This is a lot to take in. Trust me I know." He told Heru. "We will get through this together. I'm by your side the entire time." He told Heru while he looked at the ground. "To tell you the truth I think I am the one that flung that computer across the room. I also think I pushed that man across the seat. You still don't know but I phased through the window and the seat on the train. While being able to inhumanly see and hear things that are too far away for a normal human to see and hear, but it is as if they are close up to me."

Gil looked over at Heru awaiting his response. It seemed as if Heru wasn't even aware that Gil was beside him. "Dude, are you listening. I mean seriously I am going crazy right now. Between the monastery attack and seeing that thing, and now the train being attack I don't know what's going on. To top that all off your grandfather just fake died in front of our faces. You really aren't listening are you. Say something Heru." He said angrily and placed his hand on Heru's shoulder after he finished his statement.

Ah, Wrath and Lust in the same go, that was a pleasant surprise. "Indeed, we are all here for the same reason, Wrath." When there was official business to be done, she always referred to them by their status, not by their so-called names. They needed no other identification other than their duty, just as she herself was bound to the role of Chief of Pestilence. "Lust, you also came, how kind of you," she said this in a slightly mocking tone, Lust was a fickle subordinate, and Sidwy never really knew where her allegiances lay. As long as the mission she set for her was accomplished, she had no cares of what Lust did in her free time, just as long as it did not inhibit their goals. Despite the eons-old war between the Caeloi and the Infernai, as they were appropriately termed, there was a sense of balance to the fighting. If anything, the angels were trying to make the humans too much like themselves, too perfect for the mortal good, and their own role was to balance that out with a touch of humanity's defining traits, though their worst ones.

"You are free to go in whatever grouping you wish, all together or separately, but our goal is clear. Find the missing troops and question the reason behind their disappearance. If they are on a mission of their own, so be it, we cannot argue with our higher command. If they are abandoning their duties, annihilation is in order in any appropriate way you see fit. The humans cannot know of our activities, so keep your physical presence low, if a situation arises, you are all authorized by myself to take spiritual form to handle it." She picked up a sandwich that was sitting on the kitchen counter, apparently left behind by the previous occupant of this housing. It decayed in her hand, rotting instantly, and she bit into it. She did not require sustenance, but human food was a guilty pleasure of hers. Her Centurions had not left yet, so she assumed that her orders were not complete without, "That is all, report to me as soon as you make contact of any kind. I shall also join you in the field shortly, though I have some matters to attend to before I may do so."

As they left the room, she stopped to close her eyes and take in her spiritual surroundings. These movements, can there really be this many Caeloi so close? I must confer with the other Chiefs. She went to the seventeenth floor, to the room that War and Famine were presumedly sharing, and knocked sharply three times.

Sora was somewhat surprised to see the old man dissolve intl jewels but was joyed at the sametime for there are indeed others like him. He also listened in with super hearing on Gil going crazy about some phenomenons he's caused. Then something rose to the surface of Sora's mind. "Guys whatever happened to the thing that rammed the train?" Sora said out loud so everyone can hear. He sensed something ,lingering just out of normal sight. He figured it would attack if it's position was exactly known so he didn't use super sight. He walked closer to Gil and Heru indicating silently to stay in a close formation. Sora glared at the surroundings. Then it hit him that thing killed 100 innocents and have the nerve to not face him. This made him angry and then start glowing. He wanted to rip whatever it was in two.

Heru coldly ignored Gil, He was really tring not to talk about the day events but leave it Gil to just speak on a tangent. Heru kept walking he was in his own world trying to figure himself out. He was trying to figure out or atleast try to make sense of what was taking place. Heru was even more upset at the fact his Grandfather made him feel vulnerable and alone just to quickly slide that rug from up under his foot. He felt Gil place his hand on his shoulder but as soon as he did Heru tried to be as nice as possible "Hey man I'd prefer to be alone for a minute *shakes his head* I dont really feel like talking ok?" He just couldn't believe the stunt his Grandfather pulled but on a more relevant note the train crashed and he knew it was out of the ordinary and knew it was something strange.

Heru has been through alot that he yet to tell Gil. He has wanted for sometime to sit down and tell him for sometime but he didn't know how to. This was sort of new to Heru and he really hasn't come to terms with it quite yet. He knew it was different. Heru heard Sora approaching so he stopped. "So what part off keep your distance don't you and Gil understand?" He coldly asked the two "I don't need you all up in my bubble I need time to think." Heru continued walking only to feel that something was up but he kept down his worries not to bother the others. Heru himself was going through something but didn't want to share this obstacle with anybody else. Heru began to bleed from a cut he didn't notice "Crap...I'm bleeding I don't need this" He says to himself. He looks around for john but was unaware of his presence.

Now that was an unexpected turn of events. He thought to himself. But now that he thought about it, he could feel the old man's light, and it was powerful. Somehow he had never felt it from him before. Wait, get here? Is he at the Monastery? He almost didn't notice Heru and Gil walk into the woods towards the city. He ran after them, catching up quickly. "Hey, guys.. I think I can explain some things, but only if you think you can handle even more weirdness. I don't know too much, though.. I think Heru's grandfather knows more." He said to Heru and Gil.

He wasn't sure where the new kid was. As they were walking he took out his phone. Luckily the impact of the crash hadn't crushed his phone. The screen had only a small crack down the middle. He sent his boss a text that he would be out a while due to a death in the family. Then he texted his neighbor to make sure his cat Misha got food and water. The closer they got to the city, the more he could feel a spiritual darkness in the city.
I have a bad feeling about this..

Lilith smiled at Sidwy, though she could hear the mocking tone in her voice. "Of course. Anything for you, my Lady." In her head, though, she seethed with anger. If any Centurion or lesser demon had talked to her like that, she would have made them suffer. But she knew better than to say a word. Of course, if used correctly anger did often seem to urge Lust into action. She nodded slowly as the Chief of Pestilence gave her orders. Very well, I will do my job.. Let's see if I can gain some advantage from this. When her Mistress left the room, she wasted no time in leaving the room. She could feel a disgustingly pure presence. She had a plan involving the angels, and she didn't wish for any of her colleagues to join her.

She walked out of the building, looking for a man with a car. Spotting a guy with a white Honda, she walked in the street in front of his car and pretended to fall. The guy slammed on the brakes, stopping five centimeters from her. He jumped out of the car.
"Ma'am are you okay?" He asked her worriedly. She stood up and smiled at him. "Oh, I'm fine. You won't be." She touched his arm and looked into his eyes, overriding his will. "I'll just take your car. You should go jump off a very tall building." He instantly started walking to the nearest building. She laughed as she jumped in the driver's seat, driving in the direction of the angels.

Sora's glow faded as he calmed down."Calm down, don't let ignorance cloud your mind. Only then will you be able to make sense of everything." Sora said. He wasn't watching where he was going and bumped right into John. He sensed a strong aura in him and something in his jacket. Sora backed up a bit after a dark feeling found it's way into his senses. He felt it something dark, evil closing in quickly. Sora said "I'm gonna go on ahead." Sora hopped into the brush and out of sight. He then used his ultra vibration to speed up his body and dashed a few times faster than sound very far ahead.

He would eventually emerge into the middle of the road just ahead of Lilith. It's time I found out a little more about myself but whatever is ahead doesn't feel the slightest bit good.

"With all this going on I really don't think you need to be alone Mr. Attitude." Gil yelled at Heru. "I know I don't know whats going on but at the end of the day I hope to have my best friend by my side so why would I leave him at his time of need." Gil continued with more aggravation. "I know you are going through a ton more than I am with the stunt you grandfather just pulled, but did you even once think about how I was feeling in the situation. Here I am trying to comfort you and you want to catch an attitude with me. Now normally I would just stand here in silence but I have my own confusion and problems I am dealing with. Like can you explain to me why my hand can go through a window without breaking it. That's not normal. Like I knew I wasn't normal. That is one reason why we were friends in the first place, because we both felt the same. But this isn't just not normal this is on a whole nother d*mn level." Gil continued to yell.

Gil was then interrupted by John stating that he could explain some things. "I don't know how in hell this is going to get any weirder John. Sorry to be so angry with it but I have alot of things going through my head right now." He yelled back at John. He then heard Sora jump into the bushes and heard him activate his vibration ability all the way until he stopped in the street. "How could I manage to hear that." He yelled again. "But come on get up here and explain and I want the whole d*mn truth." He yelled to John still in anger at the fact of all that is going on and somehow his own grandfather is involved, plus he beat Gil to Barcelona.

Yuri wuld arrive at the Airport as he wuld open the door of the taxi and exit, prosiding too walk in the airport,as he walk too the couter and those his Id and other things he wuld wait in line for scanning,as he reaches his turn he puts his bag on the scaner and police scane him for anything metalical as it makes a beeb on his neck area "Sir you need too remove your beloging" As yuri wuld nod at the police and remove his famali pendant and scan again and was clear too go,as he walks and gets his bag and put his pendant back on and continue too the plane as he was right on time.As he enters the plane he takes a sit on the neares chair near the window and wuld look outside as that strange feel is still there. As the plane takes off from the runway he wuld sit back and close his eyes and wait for the plane too land as it was a long Trip."Barselona here we come" yuri says too himself sofly as the plane flyies above clouds and over the Mainland as he was near of discovering what was going on.

John sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I can only tell you what I know. When I was a teenager I found out I had.. a gift. I was able to control light with my mind. Also.. I have this, from my parents. Whoever they are." He pulled the clear crystal out from under his shirt, showing it to Gil. "Maybe you have something too, from your family? I'm not sure.. But I don't think we're fully human Gil. I think.. I think all three of us, and the kid from the train, are angels." He shrugged his shoulders. "That's all I know."

He could feel Sora move off quickly towards the approaching darkness.
Great.. Hope he knows what he's doing. We should really stick together. He waited silently for Gil to take it all in. "You know we really need to get to Heru's grandfather. He seems to know more than I do.." Bringing up the demons wouldn't help the situation much, and the sun was going down.

When she was sure no one had followed her, she reached out with her spirit to learn more about these angels. She could feel three incredibly strong auras and one slightly lesser aura. She pulled over when one of the brighter auras moved rapidly towards her. This one is fast and strong. Better watch myself. She touched the crystal heart around her neck. Until she felt threatened, she wouldn't bring out her katana. She preferred to fight from the shadows. She just wanted to learn what these angels were doing here. If it was related to the legions, finding out before the others would improve her standing in Infernus.

Then the angel stopped in front of her and she almost laughed.
He's a child. Does he even know what he is? She opened the door and stepped out, stepping up the charm. She decided to go with a motherly attitude. She looked genuinely concerned as she walked towards Sora. She gave off an intense motherly aura, giving her an almost angelic appearance. "What are you doing in the road, sweetie?" She said, voice practically dripping with honey. She looked him over. He looked as if he'd been in some sort of accident since his clothes were a bit torn. She noticed he had no injuries though. "You poor dear, your clothes are torn! Where are your parents?" She was prepared to go on the defensive if necessary, but she wasn't looking for a fight.

Heru and Gil were on a flight to Barcelona when the plane made a sudden landing in Madrid- Barajas Airport due to a supposed attack on a local monastery. The remaining flights to Barcelona were being delayed and with the worries of having class the next morning they were happy to hear that train tickets would be given out to the first customers at the counter. With the commotion of the airport...

Sora felt a sense of weird relief when the woman got out the car. He was entranced by her voice and seemed at ease when she expressed concern for him. Then she said "Parents" and this all too much broke Sora out of the trance. "Wrong word lady, I don't know what you are or much of what I am but that was the wrong move." I can't believe I almost fell for that. No matter I'm going to show her what I can do.

Sora's hair turned silver and his jacket shifted to a white cloak. White wings sprung from his back and a sword materialized in his hand. He said "I feel the darkness in you." Sora's sword began to ultra vibrate with his power. He layered some offensive aura on it but detached from his sword. He swung his blade and the aura went flying off splitting the car effortlessly in two. Sora then did a backflip and tapped the ground creating a field of ultra vibration energy with him at the center and Lilith outside. "Good luck driving away."Sora said.

Heru looked at Gil while he was ranting he started mocking him with his hand. "Blah....Blah....Blah." He said. "Do you ever stop talking? I think you just like to hear yourself talk." He said to Gil rolling his eyes. Heru saw John approaching stating that he could explain things. "Great.....know we have him thinking he's gonna know everything." Heru said to himself. After John finished his explanation John stopped in his tracks and coldly looked at john. "So.......you think you have all the answers huh? is that it? Say what do you know about that thing he did back there do you know about that to? Well what about all we have went through do you even know about that?" Heru said to John with aggravation. "Just how in the world do you think you are gonna be able to explain something that you don't even know much about yourself, I thought so" He followed up. He turned around and continued walking before he felt Sora encounter something. "Foolish you can't just go off by yourself." Heru says to himself.

Before Heru knew he had passed out again and ended up close to where Sora was. "I did it again....?" He thought to himself. He had to keep quiet as he watched Sora from an alley to see what was going on. Heru looked at the woman strange she was a stunning woman so stunning it was almost unbelievable. Heru denied the fact that she was the individual with a dark aura but he also didn't rule it out. "Who is she?" Heru said to himself. He studied her hard and notices her eyes were different than most, his eyes begin to widen as he was shocked at what he was seeing; He'd never seen something like that before. "Hmph how reckless.....you would think she would do a better job of concealing herself." He said to himself. Heru could sense that Sora was not well, he knew that he had been through alot. He knew that if he engage this person he would surely loose his life in an instant. Heru was taken by surprise when he saw the kid change form. "What the.........." Heru began to almost freak out when he saw what took place as he tried to take it all in. Heru sat there trying to figure out ways to get himself out of this situation as he thought he was not of much help.

John was stunned at the sudden outburst from Heru. He had never heard such an anger from him. Any other day, he would've been offended, but with what they'd been through today he could understand. "Listen, I never said I could explain all of this. I'm as clueless about today as you guys are. All I know is there's more to the world than everyone thinks. There is real evil, not just human evil." He said, somewhat defensive. And then Heru fell. He ran over and caught him, lowering him gently to the ground. "Heru? Are you okay bro?" He touched his neck, checking for a pulse.

He felt a pulse. "He's alive, just unconscious." John had studied various books on anatomy, but he could only do basic first aid. Although in most cases he wouldn't feel comfortable treating injuries. Mostly he used his rudimentary skills on himself. Suddenly remembering his arm, he took a glance. He could see dried blood but no wound. Healed already..? Maybe being around the others helped.. His spirit felt the darkness nearby meet the new kid'slight. From what he saw on the train, the kid could handle himself. But this darkness, if it was a single demon, was stronger than any he'd felt, except for the massive power in the city. What's he thinking! John thought silently. "Gil, we have to get to the new kid soon."

Well someone has daddy issues.. She thought to herself. Here she was being friendly and this little brat was giving her lip. Weren't angels supposed to be nice? This one was quite rude, as well as reckless. She watched him transform calmly, looking quite unimpressed. "Now, that's no way to talk to your elders. There's no need to get snappy. I didn't come to fight." She watched as the car was sliced in half. "If that were my car, I would be most upset. My insurance doesn't cover angel sword damage." She smirked, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "My name is Lilith. Pleasure to meet you." She hadn't moved an inch. Clearly she had no fear of him.

The ability he displayed interested her. She could hear a high-pitched vibration in the air around her. "I'm here to give you some advice, but if you insist on fighting I'll oblige you." She smiled, reaching a hand to her hip and pulling a katana from seemingly thin air. She held the katana in front of her, assuming a fighting stance. "I was practicing with masters before you were born boy. I warn you to listen and not fight. I will not hold back." Her eyes narrowed, watching for any sudden movements. She was ready to block any attack he made. She held off on transforming though.
Technically I was given permission. She recalled.

Sora said "Name's Aaron Sora, let's say the day put me on edge. I won't attack unless provoked your car however was a demonstration. You said you have advice i'd like to hear it then." Sora utterly disliked how she was underestimating him but no matter he was confident in his own abilities. He flapped his wings sending a light wind around the place. He turned off the barrier but kept his sword vibrating. He was now wondering how long it's take to saw through that katana. Sora enhanced his vision to scan the area and saw Heru in one spot. This will require some major explaining. Sora readied his own blade and got into a stance. The vibration don't only enhance cutting and piercing power but it allows his blade to act like a chainsaw and saw through things. On odinary object this is impossible to tell since they lack the durability but Supernatural things are a different story. It's probably take him at least 3 seconds prolonged contact to cut through the katana and current vibration speed.

"I kind of figured with the dark presence I felt getting closer." Gil told John. "I think Heru is fine. He did the exact same thing on the train earlier. If I recall correctly he stated later that he was at your apartment. However we can't just leave him here." He ended his statement as he walked closer and reached down to help John carry Heru. "I do think we need to hurry because I felt a burst of good energy just come from that direction and along side it the dark energy stabilized." Gil mentioned as he began to pull Heru from the ground.

While throwing Heru's arm over his neck he looked at John on the other side. "So is there anything else you know about what is going on? Specifically how my grandfather is tied to any of this. Since he is the only person in my life of relation I thought we didn't have secrets but I can see I was wrong." Gil politely asked in an almost apologetic manor for his anger earlier.

John nodded and helped Gil lift, putting Heru's other arm around his neck. He looked over towards Gil when he spoke again. "Only what I said. As far as I knew, your grandparents were normal. I would guess that it's somehow genetic.. sometimes traits can skip a generation. I've never met my grandparents since I was an orphan so I can't say for sure." A sudden wave of sadness came over him as he thought of his parents. He had been told they were dead. No one had known what happened to them, nor even their names. He would most likely never know. "When I first learned of my ability it was clear to me what I was. Whoever left me this crystal left that knowledge inside for me somehow. I think using the ability I have." But he hadn't known what to do with his life though.

She didn't relax a single muscle. She smiled pleasantly in response. "My advice to you is to be careful. There are many of my kind loose in the city, some who are far less rational. They would see you dead sooner than have a dialogue." She grinned broadly. "All I want is some information, and I'll give you some in return. I know some of what's happening. I want to find out what you know." She had a feeling these angels weren't responsible for what had happened. But she needed to know for sure.

The katana may appear normal, but it was forged in the molten flames of Infernus. She was told a thousand human souls were used to give the blade unholy power. The blade was vampiric, and the more blood it absorbed the stronger its lust for blood became. One cut could drain a mortal completely, leaving a withered, completely dessicated husk It glowed with red spiritual energy to those who could see those things. "After we exchange information, we will both leave the way we arrived here: Unharmed." She thought to herself.
How much can I tell him safely...

"Demons loose in the city, we'll defeat them as we come across them simple as that." Sora said. "What I know is not much none of us do, we didn't cause the monastery accident if that's what you're inquiring about. Is that all or do you have more to say?" Sora spiritually sensed the city and confirmed what she was saying including atleast 3 overpowering energies at one spot and other strong energies in the city, they all felt demonic. Sora decided to believe her for now but decided to see what he can get out of her. "But you already knew about the monastery so you must be referring to that other thing." Sora said smiling almost chuckling.

Does she really not want to fight or is she playing games and is waiting till I lower my guard any rate i need to watch her closely.

Iris bowed again to Sidwy. "Of course. Rest assured, ma'am, I will not disappoint you." She hardly needed the other Centurions anyway. They, like their masters are going to be a handful of chaos. Those that lurk within the shadows and served as her eyes were more adept in hiding and searching for answers. She turned to leave, but halted, outside the door of the Chief's room as she felt a surge of energy of two other Centurions arriving. She paused, turned around on her heel and leaned against the door frame, arms folded. She held her umbrella by its crook, planting its point on the floor as she watched the other two Centurions converse with their Chief. How nice of them to only appear to Lady Sidwy. To Iris, both Lust and Wrath were of a surprising lack of importance to her. Iris stood by, as she listened to Sidwy repeat her orders to the two. Iris, herself, should get around with doing something about this reconnaissance job. No matter, there were some of the demons lingering around that weren't from the renegade force that broke free from hell wandering about. Alastor was one such soul. She slipped out of the room, unseen, and twirled her umbrella.

"Alastor." Iris called out. There was no response. She sighed, and tapped her umbrella on her own shadow. "Come out, Alastor. You've been there for quite a while."

A dark form peeled away from her shadow, not unlike the paint peels from a dilapidated building, and the skeletal face emerged from the top of the form. As she watched, more of the dark fabric formed atop Alastor's ash-blonde locks, creating a wide-brimmed highwayman's hat. My apologies, Ser Vegner. I was worried.

"No apologies needed, Alastor. After all, I was going to ruin your vacation if you had actually been around town, enjoying yourself." Iris tapped her umbrella on her shoulder. Iris paused, then moved down the corridor of rooms, further from Sidwy's room. She slipped behind a wall at a turn, and urged Alastor to follow. Just as the last of his cloak trailed away from sight, the door opened and Sidwy exited the room, followed by the Centurion of Lust: Lilith.

Untrustworthy slut. Look at her, she steams with anger and frustration at her own master. She has a plan to backstab us, I am sure of that.

"You mean she plans to backstab them. I am not a subset of this group. I am merely a pawn, as far as they know. I will, too, act as one. But that's not the point." Iris peered around the corner again to ensure no one was within earshot before continuing. "Alastor, you heard what Ms. Sidwy ordered, yes? Well, your task for the next few hours is to locate one of these rebels, and bring him or her to me. Can you manage that?"

As long as you can manage yourself. Alastor took off his hat and bowed slightly. But of course, I accept your orders, Ser Vegner. I will do my best. The creature slipped into her shadow once more. Iris waited for a moment, before tapping the shadow once, twice. Satisfied that Alastor had gone, she now moved towards the elevator, and descended to the first floor. Alastor was right on one thing. Lilith cannot be trusted. The elevator dinged and the doors slid open. She waved to the still unamused receptionist, who was still checking the names on his register. Still very distracted about the name list, apparently. She swallowed down her pity, and set her eyes ahead. Lust had just left, and the doors sliding shut behind her. Iris started off at a swift stride, bypassing the sliding doors, and only came out just in time to see Lust use her charms to will a poor man out of his car. "...You should go jump off a very tall building." she heard. As she sped off, cackling, in his Honda, the bastard wandered about, towards the suite. Iris sighed, shaking her head. Well, following Lilith was now right out of the question. Her scooter was parked a distance away, and by the time she got there, there would be nothing left of the trail to tail Lilith with. She instead, did the nearest thing to help. She raised her umbrella and smacked it across the hypnotized man, knocking him out cold, and sent him sprawling on the pavement. Hopefully, the effects of the whole 'jumping off a building' notion would have vanished by the time an ambulance arrived for his concussion.

Honestly. Humans. They could stand to be a little more stronger in will. Especially the men. Meanwhile, Iris scratched her head, trying to figure out where Lilith was headed to.

Mort was bored, again. It took muck too quickly to restore his power to it's last level, the seal was once again straining to hold back his monstrous strength. He smiled, despite being the eldest of the horsemen, it was doubtful that any of the had as much exercises he had, or as much vision he had. He did not expect his legions to die that way, still he was there when it happened, and so he chuckled as the children rushed to each other, oblivious to his machinations. He knew what was coming, and it was best they stand united, either with him or against him he really did not care.

The knife's purpose was, hilarious for the moment, just another spy camera, that was what the humans called it after all, on Pride and her servant. It also afforded him some medium of control over her if ever he chose to assume direct control and gave her some of his deathly powers. He needed some eyes and ears in the mortal realm as he was too busy trying to push the rest of his powers through the seal. He would never be at full strength, but if he had a strange increase in power, it would make no difference. If his current output was say a tenth of his original strength, he simply needed to get ten times stronger and he would be satisfied. So he 'exercised' his strength and watched the world. he would arrive when it was time, or when they called, stronger than before.

Every Death did power him after all.
