Cole has never been seen as the “good kid.” Being good implies that you had a good upbringing. He grew up with nothing and no one. Cole grew up without family. He grew up going from foster home to foster home, never being released from a constant circle of abuse and pain. He grew up stealing what he needed in order to run away. He ran knowing that it would be harder for them to find him each time. He ran with the knowledge that he would have to go back to the system eventually.

It wasn’t until he moved to a small town outside of Millsburrow that he truly found his place. With a twisted addiction to alcohol and drugs that started early on, he easily fell into the hole that is loneliness. He gained the title of the “bad boy”. This title only fit his hard shell on the outside, yet no one cared to get to know him. No one cared to see the softer aspect of him.

Within the seventeen years that he has been alive he has found a place…. How?
