Ah yes, pain
McKenna listened to the various doctors speak their bit, knowing she'd have little trouble remembering what they said. Her photographic memory was definitely a blessing in the long run. Except.... when it wasn't. McKenna couldn't stop bringing to mind the brief vision Reizo had used to subdue Ryuu. The noose.... it was bothering her. She felt cold.... What powers did Reizo have anyway? He burnt her skin with something that would summon him, he could create visions....
McKenna shook her head and tried to pay attention to what the doctors were saying. A new doctor was speaking now, Dr. Loic Collins. McKenna's mind seemed to be picking up something, so she tried to get into the man's head. What was he thinking.... McKenna let out a frustrated sigh. Her mind reading was NOT working well today. Of all days, this was the one she'd need it the most, and it wasn't working properly. It was like a radio with bad signal. She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to hear anything...
'........bent the truth.......'
McKenna squinted hard at him, and then went over what he said in her memory, as she hadn't been paying attention. Really? He had said a lot, and McKenna was in no place to even TRY to figure out what parts were bent.... She began looking at her scars, distractedly.
