Alexander shudders as he stands up, his hand going through his hair.

"I don't remember ever having an owl, or have ever seen it. Megumi, I never had an owl."

He stands up, and frantically looks around. He was so confused. What was that owl? What happened to him? How did it fool him?

@Kayzo

Megumi placed a hand on his back and rubbed it gently, wanting to calm him down. "That's strange, but it doesn't matter now." She said, taking his hand in hers. "Just focus on me, ok?"

(It's okay, I understand. It happens to me too )

Alexander smiles over at her as he gently tightens his grip on her hand, holding them close as he kisses her.

"Yeah, I understand. I guess I should just worry about that later "

@Kayzo

Megumi smiled slightly and nodded. "Let's head back and find a doctor. I need medical attention." She said to him, limping along again. "Broken ribs, destroyed foot and most likely a concussion is what I ended up with. What about you?"

@National

After making enough craters around him to form a new mountain for himself Sin was left panting, his coat was still torn from the fight earlier and now that he went on a rage fit his wounds opened wider than they already were. A spike also still remaining in his leg he ripped it out before quickly placing his hands down to stop the bleeding. Taking out a roll of bandages and wrapping it around tightly. He did the same with his arm after taking his coat off and looking down at it "Even ruined my good coat.." looking up he got pissed off again "Now I'm left here..With nothing." he sighed to himself at the thought, the only thing he now had to look forward to was to take his revenge the next time he was able to see Alexander. Getting frustrated again he clenched his fists and shot towards the mountain again "FUCK!!!" the mountain exploding sending out pieces of rubble all around Sin and the clearing he was in.

(Just a random post to pass the time xD )

Alelxander looks down at his body, his chest burnt, a few scar marks and several small cuts.

"My skin took a lot of the damage for me, but that a challenging fight. I was about to use my trump card too."

@Kayzo

"That would've been scary. I'm glad you were able to handle them." Megumi said, leaning into him slightly and sighing. "And I'm glad you weren't hurt too bad."

Alice walked into the hideout. Her crying had finally stopped at the end of her long walk but the terrible feeling of loneliness and heartbreak remained. She didn't bother to say anything to anyone who happened to be in there and headed straight for her room, wanting to be alone for awhile. She figured that if she stayed out somewhere people would start to worry about her, and that's something she hated. And it's the reason Santios got killed. He was worried about Alice and went to rescue her.

Gilroy watches as Alice goes straight to her without any talking, her dash to her room being unnoticeable to many, however, Gilroy was the Black Core ops leader for five years. that wouldn't have escaped him. He walks over to the door, and knocks on it, taking a drag from his imperial arm, inhaling it.

"This is is the man who saved you.I don't think Santios would want you to be moping."

Alexander looks over at Megumi, his eyes saddening as he sees her hurt. He tries to cover it up, because he knew she wouldn't want him to fret over her wounds. But he felt so bad that he let her get hurt, and he could've defended her. @Kayzo

Chansu

Chansu trudged through the muddied ground smothered with damp fall leaves. The images of the dead still awake in her mind. Everything seemed to replay over and over. 'This isn't all it's cracked up to be.' She could feel the disappointment in herself deep in her stomach. It almost made her sick.

The flashback of Santios's death made her shudder. Already, one of their members died. The teenager would've liked to have gotten to know him before he was brutally butchered. Blood and bones only showed up when she tried to remember him anymore. She instantly flashed back to the girls who were heart broken. Chansu had watched the battle before she escaped. That was easily survivor's guilt.

The skies darkened with clouds. Rain poured from the heavens and pounded the ground like a thousand gun shots. It seemed the clouds were mourning Santios's death. The girl sealed her pouch and started to run from the rain, which seemed to be the only fallback of her Imperial Arms.

She sought shelter under a large tree. It was the only shelter she could find in the area, which wasn't very big, sense the area was shrouded with woods. Chansu lay down and closed her eyes. As of right then, the rain was her only companion in the world of darkness. She rolled onto her side and stared at the clouds for a while. A few rain drops hit her bangs and leaked through, hitting her eyes. She lifted up her bangs and rubbed them violently. Worries raced through her mind.
"Damn it," she muttered before drifting to sleep.

Alice was sitting on the foot of the bed with her face buried in her hands. The knock from the door didn't make her look up and she simply let out a sigh. "How do you know that's what Santios wanted?" She replied, guilt and sorrow tugging her at the mention of his name. "Besides, how am I supposed to be happy at a time like this? The most important man in my life is dead, and it's my fault..."

@National

Gilroy stands outside the door, his head looking up at the ceiling, his sunglasses sliding into his hair as he sighs, looking straight at the door.

"I knew Santios for a long time. Trust me, he would rather die than to see the person he love on her knees crying for him. He wouldn't you to face this guilt, but he wouldn't be abkento live happily if he couldn't do anything to save her from her early death."

@Kayzo

Alice nodded and felt like she was about to cry again. Talking about Santios was too much for her right now, and talking with this stranger wasn't helping. Fortunately no tears fell out and she kept herself together. "Do you really think that's how he would react? If I took his place?" She asked, raising her head up.

Megumi and Alexander finally reached the barracks, and she immediately searched for their backup medic. Alexis had unfortunately ditched them to be with an assassin, and she was their main healer.

(I'll post better soon. Sorry.)

Gilroy nods as he blows more vapor out of his mouth.

"Trust me, he would sooner die than to see you get killed. He wouldn't be able to see you gone, so he responded by switching roles."

(Umm kiri is an assassin if that's the back up medic you were talking about she's in prison rn)

Lyra Kazumi

She picked up her bow and watched him leave the area, looking disappointed. "Forgive me. I cannot accept your words just yet." she said even though he was out of earshot. "But if I do find this 'Kiri', I just might believe her." There is no way he would have contact within the dungeons of the Palace, right? If his sister would react the same upon meeting her, then she'd know it's genuine. She started limping back to the Empire.

It took her quite some time to return to the Empire and fortunately, someone recognized her and gave her a ride back to the Palace. Her leg was in a bad shape now. The medic assigned to her didn't seem like he knew what he was doing either. He simply wrapped a bandage around her leg, nothing more, nothing less, yet she thanked him anyway. She stayed in the garden, thinking deeply about all that has happened. She forgot to ask the assassin's name but it's not like he would openly give it to her. His words played back in her mind.
"Ah! Damn it all!" she said, messing with her hair in frustration. Perhaps she should talk to the person who took her in? She stood and walked back inside. It's time she gave Kiri a visit.

Kiri was sitting in her cell huddled up in the corner crying again "I want my brother..." She sobbed quietly tears dripping off her chin "I'm so stupid he told me it was a trap I just couldn't listen now look at the mess you're in" she held a small box in her hand the only thing the guards dare not try to take away from her lest they be poisoned to death "I miss Lyra and the captain and aero and the resistance I want to go back home and let aero hold me in his arms like he always did when I was scared" he whispered to herself she heard footsteps and all of a sudden she screamed crying loudly as Lyra entered "NOT AGAIN NO MORE I DONT NO ANYTHING I WAS JUST A MEDIC!!!!!" She sobbed fearing more torture.

"Is there anyone named Kiri here?" she asked the guard. He only laughed at her sarcastically.

"Bah. You think we care about the names of our prisoners?" he said, looking at her quizzically. He had a point there.

"How about a medic?" It took some time for her to convince the guard to give her the keys and to make him stop following her. She wanted to talk to Kiri alone. The last thing she wanted right now was to have these guards lose trust in her. Her expression turned dark as she walked along the halls of the dungeon. She had mixed feelings about this place. While she was glad troublemakers were imprisoned, she wasn't happy about them being tortured. If only she had the power to stop things like this.

She finally arrived at the cell. When she entered, she was surprised by Kiri's sudden yelling.
"Ki...ri?" she murmured, unsure if she was the right person.

@ashel darkwing

Kiri looked up at the familiar voice her eyes opened wide in shock she hopped up leaving her medical kit on the bed and reached through the bars hugging Lyra "Lyra is it really you I'm not just dreaming you're really here to save me?" She cried against lyra's arm "I missed you so much I thought you were dead I seen you get hit in the head and then they took me away I'm so sorry it's all my fault I was the one that wanted to go I thought that we could end this stupid war I was so naive back then I should've known it was a trap my brother tried to tell me but I wouldn't listen I'm sorry..." She couldn't stop crying her emotion pouring out of her though her tears

She couldn't react. She wasn't quite sure what to do right now as the girl clung to her shoulder. Lyra didn't even mind that she was clinging painfully on her injured shoulder. It was obvious that this girl knew who she was and she was slowly believing that assassin's words. She ruffled the girl's hair, hoping it would somewhat comfort her.

Kiri started speaking about stuff she never knew of, something her brother didn't tell her as well. Hit her head? What was that trap she was talking about?
"Uhm... Kiri, right? This trap, please tell me more about it." she said, hoping that it would be the link to her past. She really couldn't remember ever seeing her face, but something about seeing her cry made her heart wrench.

Alice nodded grimly though Gilroy couldn't see. She wasn't sure if this was cheering her up or making her feel worse. Whatever it was doing didn't matter right now. "Thank you." She said quietly, not sure if he heard it not.

@National

Gilroy only nods as he sighs.

"Hey, trust me Alice. Santios is in a good place. If you died, this world would be hell for him. I know him enough to know that he cared dearly for you. I understand you need some time."

And with that, he turns around, ready to prepare to leave.
