Chansu


The sky was still dark, but it had stopped raining not long after Chansu fell asleep. A small break of lights in the clouds woke her up. She pushed up her soaked bangs and rubbed her eyes with her hand. The shower didn't last long, but it was heavy. The girl slowly sat up, taking a look around. 'Might as well get a start even though I'm groggy,' she thought and shrugged.


She staggered to her feet and continued to trudge where she left off. Mud and soaked leaves ruffled from the ground onto her shoes. Her dress was smothered in mud and water. Chansu decided to take a nice, long shower when she got back to the base. She started to ponder whether everyone was back home. A clearing wasn't far ahead. She ran into the clearing and looked up. The towering base wasn't too far away now. That or, it was just close in perspective. The base was on a mountain, of course.


She started to run towards the direction of her new home.

Halie


Halie walked up to the door of the base of this "Night Raid" group she was offered to join. She grinned widely and knocked on the door. No one answered, so she let herself in without regard of manners. The inside of the base towered over her. "Hello?" she called. Her voice echoed through the halls. She shrugged and walked in, excited to meet her new friends.


The marble floors echoed with every step she took. She gripped her bow that was fastened on her back. "I'm Halie! Someone from the group recruited me and well, here I am!" No answer. She headed into the dining room. Still no one. "Is there even anyone here? My joining sure is a let-down so far.."


Halie shrugged and headed into the living room. The floor stopped and changed to carpeting. "Fancy," she admired. She looked up to see three people standing in front of her. She put on a smile and waved. "Hi there! I'm Halie and I was recruited to join by one of your members. A cutie, too."

Sin looked at Arden, it was clear she wasn't okay but before he was really able to say anything some other girl came stumbling in the room and introducing herself. Looking down towards her he nodded "Okay, nice to meet you.." sighing for a moment he leaned himself off the wall and made his way to his room "I'm tired, Night everyone." he didn't look at anyone as he spoke and just walked into his room and down onto his bed.

Halie shrugged and grinned. "Nighty!",she said with a wave. She ran over to the couch and jumped onto in. The energetic girl stretched, kicked off her shoes, and lay back. "Sorry I'm being unmannerly, but I walked a long ways. I'm beat!"

"Yes please." she said. The medic earlier did a sloppy job of fixing her up and her wounds are still hurting like hell. She moved closer to Kiri, trusting that she won't be poisoned. 'Bickering like a married couple...' She scoffed at the thought but unknown to her, a light hue of pink tainted her cheeks. "I can see that." she commented, thinking back at the little argument she and Aero had. She couldn't imagine how they would see each other eye to eye, not now at least. "Anything else I might need to know? I believe my time here is short."

The twins had reached the base shortly after Sin, both of their kimonos were ruined so they decided to just throw them in the trash and take a shower. Lucky for them white kimonos are easy to come by, so they each had a spare. They were tired given the fact they had only gotten a few hours of sleep, so they didn't do much other than getting something to eat. Passing by out of the kitchen they noticed a girl shouting and lying on the couch, someone they hadn't met before.


"Interesting. You new from HQ?" Allison asked, walking over to stand in front of the couch with her arms crossed, Serena following close behind. "Nice to meetcha'. I'm Allison and this is my sister Serena." Allison told her, smiling warmly and gesturing to Serena. "H-Hi." Serena spoke, waving and smiling lightly.

She healed her quickly trying to rush all while telling her what she needed to know "you were a high ranking warrior training to become an officer in the revolutionary army we had escaped the capital together after your parents were killed by some guards you ran from them with the family bow" she pointed to her imperial arm as she finished working on her foot and went to work on her arm "you found me and aero being beat by the guards and you saved us my legs were broke so you and aero took turns carrying me to the revolutionary hq where they patched me up we have been friends and a part of the revolutionary army for two years and you've always been a caring person for those who were stepped on and you always hated those who abused power a reason why you're family bow ,an imperial arm ,bonded to you." She healed her unintentionally healing her amnesia in the process just as a guard told her to get out of the cell

Megumi watched Alexander leave, as the medics came in and began to work on her injuries.


Alice nodded, walking away to the door and back to the bed. "Goodnight Gilroy." She said quietly. She sat in her bed and tried to fall asleep, but the guilt and sadness of Santios's death ate away at her.

Halie turned her head and smiled at the two twins. "Hey there! It's nice to meet ya," she told Allison. "And no, I'm not from HQ. But I am new. I was recruited." The teen yawned and folded her arms into her chest. She adjusted her pillows and waited for Serena to say something. "Shy, aren't ya?" she asked with a chuckle.


((GAH THE CONFUSION. I HAD TO CHANGE THE TWINS' NAMES TEN TIMES BECAUSE CONFUSION. Also, that's all I can post. Writer's block.))

Issac came up to megumi and took out some pain killers and said"Here you go captain and are you seem kinda down if there's anything else i can do in the medical aspect please let me know".


Polin enjoying some great beer and food after having a good time killing the worms shame he didn't get to kill alice or the traitor but there is always another time so he wasn't going to sweat it.

She nodded, deep in thought as the younger one's words processed in her mind. She was surprised that she was some high-ranking trainee when she couldn't even be trusted with an Imperial Arm here. If her words were true, then perhaps it was the very reason why they wouldn't give her one to begin with. Other than that, she was glad to hear that she was more or less the same when it comes to her personality. If she was any worse, she probably would have to hate her past self.


She felt relief when the wound on her leg was healed. She shook it, no longer feeling any pain but she kept the bandage on. She wouldn't want others believing that she was friends with a member of the Revolutionary Army. She continued listening to the girl until she mentioned her bow being an Imperial Arm. "I-Imperial Arm?! What? But I..." Lyra was cut off when a guard entered, telling her to come out but at the same time, her memories came flooding back to her. No, she can't leave yet! Not now when her memories are back. "W-Wait! I'm not yet done!" she said, looking back at Kiri; however, the guard didn't seem pleased with her actions.


"I said time's up. Get out." He grabbed her by her arm and started dragging her out.


"No! I still have questions to ask!" Her protest were in vain as he tugged on her violently, his grip on her too strong for her to get out of. "Kiri!" she called out before the door closed, separating the two of them once again. He pushed her away from the door and her back slammed on the wall. He was a bit too strong for her.


"What kind of interrogator are you to behave that badly?" he asked. Fortunately, it seemed he didn't hear their actual conversation. "Scram woman." he said, throwing her her bow. She gave him a glare before she walked away. Once she was outside and out of earshot, she smirked, twirling the copy of the key he gave her around her finger. Her memories were back, and so was her hate for the Empire.


"It's time to make a change."

Serena nodded slowly and said nothing, but she smiled lightly nontheless before yawning. Allison laughed softly, "She is, mostly around new people though. She'll come around once she gets to know ya a bit better." Allison told her, she glanced over at her sister who seemed to barely be able to stay awake standing up, and at Halie who was obviously tired herself. "I can see you're tired. We can talk more in the morning after we all get some rest, today has been a looong day. Good night and nice meeting you!" She told her, smiling happily before grabbing her sisters hand and running off for their room.


It didn't take them long to fall asleep, the day had indeed been long after only getting a few hours of sleep after all.

Kiri reached for Lyra as she was dragged out "Lyra" as the guard slammed the door shut she knew better than to keep trying she didn't want to get beat again so she went to sleep dreaming of her times in the field with Lyra and aero


Aero was cleaning his sword before he went to sleep tears falling down his cheeks the picture of his sister was sitting in front of him on his nightstand "what's wrong buddy...?" Inou asked him "n-nothing I just miss my sister" inou held him her arms wrapped around his neck "just go ahead buddy I'm here for you" aero broke down crying himself to sleep in her lap

Halie nodded and turned over. "Night. And it was nice meeting you, too." She closed her eyes and quickly drifted off into the abyss of nothingness; sleep.

(Alright, I cant really explain my absents for the characters so, awkward appearance is a go?)


Max woke up in his desk chair. "Shit!" he exclaimed as he stood up in a panic. Yesterday he was supposed to be filling out all of this paperwork due to some work related issues, but it looked like he fell asleep on the job, "Aw man..." He complained as he stood up. "Captain's gonna have my ass." Max stretched a few times and then made his way over to the bathroom for a nice hot shower and some fresh clothes. After he completed his morning routine, he took one more glance at his unfinished homework (story of mai life) before heading out to get some breakfast in the mess hall.


Morning already? Rin frowned and shook the sweat from his head. Rin had been training all night long with his Imperial Arm because he felt like he had an obligation to get stronger not only for himself, but for his team mates as well. So ever since sun down yesterday, he has been out on the training grounds, pushing himself to his limits, but now the sun was rising, and he didn't want to end up hurting himself and become a burden to his peers at Night Raid. So Rin decided to sheath his Imperial Arm and go take an early morning soak in the hot springs before chow time. By the time he got there, the whole sun was just about visible. "Good," he said with a relaxing sigh as he submerged himself into the springs until only nose was right above the water.
