His last smile was seen on his head, as thousands of memories were going past his brain. First, it was a flashback to the first day he started teaching, where all of the kids were laughing and playing, and Santios was making them laugh with jokes while teaching. The second flashback was when everybody was eating together, laughing and enjoying themselves, like they were all a huge family. Another flashback appeared, and it was when Santios confessed his love to Alice, his blushing cheeks showing his embarrassment, and then their embrace at the end. And then, the last flashback, was when him and Alice kissed under the single cherry blossom tree, where the petals would flaot around them as if they were in a fairy tale.


In his mind, he was thinking his last thoughts.


"Alice, I'm going to miss you so damn much. Our time might've been short, but I would gladly do this again if it meant that you would be safe. And I did get my last wish, you being safe. Thank you Alice. I love-"





His head was then cut off, as his body falls to the floor, and his head hits the ground one last time as his heart pumps its last tank of blood.

Gilroy stood motionless as he watched Santios get executed. It looked as if there was no emotion playing through his mind, just being a solid rock for Alice to cry on. However, a small glint in his eye, if any expert observer could see it, would know that there was some feeling inside the blonde smoker. He gently, bit firmly grasps Alice as he tries to pull her away.


"Let's go. It's time to leave."

Alexander stood up, walking over to Megumi, he looked down at the headless body of Santios, his glare softening as he sighs. He could've been a good soldier for the Guards, but in Alexander's eyes, he chose the wrong path. He wraps his arm around Megumi as he sighs again.

Katsukou just looks down at the hole. His hold on the fainted guard tightens as the execution of Santios peaks. They have succeeded in rescuing Alice but the cost is high. The teen looks at his Teigu.


Avyn after sharing a look at her master, looks at Alice sadly. They have lost the lover and now left with a broken heart. Silently, Avyn pulls Alice away from Gilroy and the mermaid hugs the girl, tail gently wrapping below Alice's knees. Katsukou looks at Gilroy and nods. They are ready to get out of the Capital.

As they ran Sin hadn't noticed Arden's words, instead keeping his eyes set on the path ahead of him swiftly making his way through the Capital and making his escape out into the forest. Rushing passed the tree's he cursed himself under his breath a few times, having to leave Santios behind was something that made Sin feel weak 'Why would he do something like that..He could have just let me die and run away with Alice, someone like me has nothing to live for. He did so why? I don't understand why he'd do it..' he continued questioning himself in his head, every moment that went passed had began agitating him to no end. As they finally reached the hidden path and walked into the base. Sin walked over. Assuming Arden had passed out he laid her down before looking off to the door 'It's that bastard they call the Over Watch...It's Alexander's fault.' gritting his teeth Sin stormed off outside, he wanted to go back there and finish what he started he knew it would do him no good by now, instead he isolated himself in the rocky mountains. Taking out his anger through firing his teigu, a large burst off blue light coming off it each time.

For a moment, it seemed the area lost gravity and with a force, it came back down, causing all guards to fall to their knees... All except her. The dome was failing to keep its purpose. She had not expected this turn of events. Just a while ago, they had the upperhand. She underestimated Night Raid.


The man she was talking to suddenly carried her and dashed outside. "H-Hey! Let me go!" She yelled at him but she wasn't given a chance to do anything. Her wounds didn't help her either. It only made it harder to escape his grasp. Not too soon later, they were at the woods. He finally let her go and almost immediately, she was on full alert ready for any surprise attacks, however, he did nothing but sit in front of her. She raised an eyebrow at him. "Why are you doing this? What do you intend to gain from telling me all this?" She asked him, deciding to sit down as well. Her weapon wasn't with her at the moment, much to her dismay. All she had were her arrows.


"You know, I can't really trust your words either, Assassin." she replied, emphasizing the last word.

"Yes I guess that's true..." He sighed thinking about what to say and choosing his words carefully he stared at the picture of his sister dragging his thumb across her face on the picture. It looked as though he was about to cry but he put the picture away so he didn't he looked up at her "honestly you weren't really my friend as much as you were my sisters you were her best friend she never stopped talking about you...even if you don't remember I have to thank you for doing that..." He started to think about his sister why did she have to go! she couldn't just stay at hq could she! She just had to run out into that trap! He held his face In his hands for a brief moment before sliding his hands up his face and raking his fingers through his hair trying to calm his nerves


Inou came back to aero holding Lyra's bow "santios is dead he was decapitated by female guard" she looked sad a rare emotion for this imperial arm

"Best... friend?" She repeated, unsure of what to feel but his voice didn't quiver in such a manner that made him seem like he was lying. In fact, it seemed like she was saying the truth. Those emotions he tried supressing weren't that of a liar's. She scratched the back of her head, trying to think of what to say. This situation was turning to a direction she wasn't expecting. "So uhm... this sister of yours... what's her name?" she asked, pausing for a moment before changing her approach once again. "Wait! What am I saying? How do I even know if this person and story is real?!" She hated this amnesia. Not only is the truth starting to become jumbled up, he's making her feel like she's missing something.

"Kiri...her name was kiri..." he placed his hands on the ground gripping the grass and letting his hair fall in front of his eyes he looked up at inou as she told him of santios's death "fine just give me the bow and go find alice make sure she got out safe i know that wouldve been his final wish" she handed him the bow and went off to find alice leaving the two alone. "look you aren't leaving without help your leg is too injured and i cant take you to the base until i know i can trust you...you wanna know where my sister is right now...shes locked in the dungeons of the empire because she was a medic that helped an assassin! they captured her about two months ago shes the reason i joined night raid. because of her i got to see how corrupt our government was!" he had lost it by this point a single tear falling down his face "i dont even know if shes still alive...but if i find out someone killed her im going to make sure they regret that choice before i end them." he spoke quietly again

Megumi felt Alexander's warm arm wrap around her body and she was brought into a semi-embrace. She was trying very hard not to cry in front of the others as that's embarrassing. I shouldn't feel so bad, he was an enemy. But who she just killed was more than just an assassin. He Was a leader, a teacher, and a lover. Megumi sighed alone with Alexamder and leaned into him, the bloody sword falling beside her.


Alice felt her body be taken away from Gilroy and soon found herself in the arms of Avyn. At least this way the girl can strengthen the mermaid with tears. "This is all my fault." Alice said, hugging Avyn tightly and pressing her face into her shoulder. "I forgot my sword when we were attack. It was my fault you all had to come out here. It should be me down there, not Santios!" She choked out through her cries. "Please. We need to leave here."

Kiri wasn't ringing a bell at all. She bit her nail, trying to rack her brain for any memories or lingering feelings... but she ended up empty-handed. That girl arrived once again and Lyra's alertness went up once again. Was that girl a teigu? If so, then she's not surprised why she couldn't get through her earlier. "And who's fault do you think it is that my leg is injured?" she replied sarcastically. He then started talking about his sister and like earlier, his words held a tone of truth. She would have sympathized with him if he had not mocked the Empire in his last sentence.


"The Empire? Who do you think it is causing all this trouble huh? You Revolutionary people only bring about chaos, forcing us to take drastic measures. Don't-" she stopped when she noticed the tear run down his face. Almost immediately, she calmed down again. That girl he was talking about, Kiri, she suddenly had an urge to search for her when she gets back to the Empire. She attempted to stand up, wincing as pain jolted through her leg. "I-I don't need your help. I'm fine by myself." she said, although her actions do not match her words.

Gilroy nods back at Katsukou, and he leads the way to get back to the base. The mysterious blonde man raced through the trees, jumping and climbing through the branches swiftly. However, something strange was happening. If Alice looked closely, she could see something similar about Gilroy, but she was probably too heart broken to take notice. @Kayzo @TripTripleTimes


Alexander holds Megumi close, hiding her face from everyone else.


"There you go. Now no one can see you."

He stood up fast more tears falling down his face he held his sword up to her neck "sit down." He said flatly "if you are too blind to see the corruptness of your government so be it but listen to what your guards let happen..." He looks down at her "your government isn't as perfect as you think and it was like this before the revolution started the guards treated the civilians like shit they use to beat me and my sister until we gave them our money. The prime minister is whispering lies into the emperor's ears and you expect there not to be chaos and war! Get your head out of the clouds! I don't know what happened to you but the Lyra I know wouldn't join the guards in a million years!" He had a menacing dark feel to him his hatred for the empire was obviously strong

Megumi pressed her head into Alexander's chest and let out a deep sigh, a few tears falling. "I'm sorry, I'm just in a lot of pain." She said quietly, lying to the man. Yes, the pain she felt was intense and it definitely contributing to her feelings, but that wasn't the main reason. I shouldn't feel so bad. He was just an assassin.

Alexander holds her close, his bare chest scarred and bruised, his blonde hair ruffling in the wind. It was a sad sight for him to see the one he loves cry, wanting only to fix her pain, but not knowing how. He holds her, looking up at the sky, wondering if there really was someone watching them.

"I'm so sorry," The teigu whispers and hugs Alice tighter as she and Katsukou follows the mysterious Gilroy back to the Night Raider base. All the mermaid can do is craddle the girl. All Avyn can do is let the girl cry and whisper small words to let Alice know that this teigu is here for her. Even though they just met, the heartache that this little Assassin displays tugs at Avyn's core. If they were not running away to safety, Avyn would love to take Alice to a nest of pillows and blankets and tell her master to bring hot chocolate and such. Katsukou would not mind. A glass of water would be nice too... soup too...


As for Katsukou, the young man quitely follows. There is too much in his head to properly form words. And even if he wants to do anything to comfort, his arms is already full.

Megumi took in a deep breath and shook her tears away. I have to be strong. Especially in front of my guards. "Good job today, everyone." She spoke in a raised voice, lacing her fingers with Alexander's. "Let's pack up and go home, treat our wounds and get some food."


Ellie did a cute cheer of happiness and clapped her hands, oblivious to the fact that Megumi was sad. "Good job everyone! We really did them in this time!" She said happily, picking up her sword. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a small pouch. On the inside was a blood stained rag which she used to clean up her sword. Taking it she began to wipe off Santios's and Tristan's blood, making it shiny and new again!


Alice said nothing to Ayvn as they walked, just staying quiet with the exception of her crying.

At the arena ,with all the dead corpses, the wind was blowing by in an ominous pattern, the gruesome sight making anyone's day take a drastic turn. A small hoot is heard as Alzie the owl flies down, his silvery white feathers gleaming off the sun. It lands down, right in front of the dead corpse of Santios. If anyone saw this gruesome sight, they would probably vomit, but the owl didn't mind. Suddenly, the owl speaks, in a deep and ominous tone.


"Seems as if the mistresses brother died. What a shame. I have to bring him back anyhow, dead or alive."


The owl extends its talons as it grabs the boys head and body, and then, a shadow passes them by, disappearing from sight, taking the owl and Santios's body with it.

Tremki looked over to Mizuki "Tremki thinks we should join back up with them now." a wide however some what innocent smile creeping up his pale face and allowing himself to slowly fall off the building, however to land safely on his way down using his teigu 'doppelganger' the shadowy figure landing on the ground swiftly, using 'Switch' Tremki's second ability he appeared on the ground.


Joining back up with the other guards, he waved to the group as he appeared at the scene were Megumi & Alexander seemed to be congratulating everyone. It also seemed another girl who was there, Alexander looked roughed up his clothes were nothing but wreck, however he didn't seem to have any fatal injuries. "Tremki's sorry for not joining in..Tremki was uhh..busy trying to do something." he said with an innocent smile again, taking out a piece of candy unwrapping it in a matter of seconds before tossing it in his mouth. 'Hehehe, busy trying to find Red Dog..Tremki wants to have some fun for once..' speaking of Red Dog, he seemed to be missing from the group, with a small pout he didn't say anything although he hoped no one was able to get to Red dog first before him.


Sitting down with his knees pressed to his chest and his arms wrapped around, he waited to see what else they had to say.

Polin comes through the portal a couple of minutes later with issac polin is a really good and mode and said to issac" Looks like we just missed the commanders end party talk man it was like having to swim through a hoard of rats after killing all the lesser assassins", polin's gauntlets still dripping with some blood and some crushed bones on his gear so he flicked them off then turned his attention back to commander and captain trying not to be anymore rude.





Issac was pretty angry by the chain of events even though he isn't showing it he also had that annoying little girl where he wanted her then just like that the tables where turned next time i'll make sure i kill them given half a chance.
