There was an uneasy silence between Alex and Marcus that went on four pages longer than it should have. The fact that his badge had fixed all his problem was one factor, the extreme blood loss was another. Fuck, I would have passed out earlier if the fights adrenalin wasn't keeping me awake... The cards floated from Alex's hand, back into the pocket they had come from as Marcus put the badge with them. "I don't wear uniforms, have you tried the base?", that's where she should be right? Marcus stood and waited for further questions as he dug for that business card, where was that guy at again? Liam something?
@Sparkstorm1000

(Next time there's a flood of post like that, just leave me to bleed out)
Alexander wanted to slap him upside the head... he was getting irritated by this so called guard. "Well I'm sorry but I honestly have no idea where the base is at... which is why I've asked you to show me..." Alex replied in an aggravated tone...of all the guards he had to meet it would be the irritating one.

Santios sighs as he watches Belladona walk out. Did he accidentally piss her off? He didn't mean to make her feel uncomfortable. He turns his head, looking right into Alice's eyes.

"I guess that's settled then. What are you gonn-"

Suddenly, Santios hears an abnormally large sound. It sounded like it came from the forest, but Santios wasn't too sure.

@Kayzo
@Mine @Sinister Clown

Amber and other assassins somewhere in the forest hunting some guys and women that is on the way to sell her out saying" seems you thought the pact wasn't for real when it was made such stupid people you could of lived out the rest of your lives as ally's but now i'm going to have to kill you in the most painful way possible".

Amber picked up speed dancing around the trees her hands starting to transform into stage one of her demon form, some of the smaller trees getting cut in half to save time, not long after amber impaled two of them against the tree slowly twisting her claws in and watching them squirm like rats.

Arden

Standing up rather slowly after she heard the loud noise within the forest, it was presumable that they might be under yet another attack. Arden made her way over to the front door, glancing over her shoulder at the remaining group. Sin and Belladonna had left previous to who knows where and Takume couldn't fight, he was in a bloody wheelchair. The only ones left was the couple and herself.

"Maybe I'll be safer if only one person goes first, instead of risking the entire team." Arden suggested, blinking twice at Santios as she waited on a response.

@Kayzo

Amber continues to slowly kill them enjoying every moment leaning forward a little and grinning widely her expression says it all, no mercy for the traitors and satin is nothing but a little punk compared to me. The fear in their eyes growing in between screams of pain the other assassin quickly cut down the others with out a second thought saying"The promise of the pact shall remain untold till the end of days may your worthless soul find some mercy in hell". After a several more minutes of inflicting great pain she cut them into pieces and then turned around and said" the deed is done and ash she be sucked up by the cloud dragon the resides in sky it's self".

What a messy day this have been, Katsukou thinks as he weaves around and pass the workers that are still cleaning up the rumbles of a formal building. He has no idea what this place was used for, but during his time cleaning up the area, rumours of terrorist attacks and mass killing have been heard. Hours of removing concretes and debris, Katsukou have not seen any bodies so far, fortunately.

He is finished loading the rocks to a transport cart for the day. The young man hurries to leave, knowing that he is behind schedule to meet a friend. They are to meet near the fountain that was also targeted by the assassins. It is a weird place to cause chaos, but he knows that his friend is upset by the news.

The water to the fountain have been shut off for a while now. Around the area Katsukou can see the scorched marks and damages of a large battle. It is startling to know how close the whole invasion have been to his home. His father seriously needs to quicken his effort to find a new home out of the Capital. Stay here is suicidal, and who know how long their luck will hold.

Katsukou takes a while to find his friend standing a ways off and staring down a darken street of the city. He can see that his friend have don a long, simple dress and instead of an umbrella in her hands, she have large, matching dark blue hand bag. Katsukou mentally groans seeing the bag. He can always count on Avyn to bring a pretty lady's bag for him to carry around. He will have to drap his jacket over it to save himself the embarrassment.

The master and weapon bickers back and forth while Katsukou checks the materials inside the bag. After a brief moment and a bread for a snack, the two left the area forgoing a change of clothes like they usually would for their patrol around the city. Being the way they are is fine for now. A couple walking together under the moon would draw less suspension than a man hopping between shadows with a thing following behind. Katsukou however did wears his turtleneck around his neck.

A bit more talking with Avyn, Katsukou decides that the two of them should check the palace wall. After the invasion, their enemies may attack the city once again

Her figure became the wind that fustigated her locks of hair on her face, morphing with it as if they were one entirely. She knew it. She felt it deep in her gut. This had not been no ordinary sound, no ordinary distraction. A trap, a set-up. Why else would it be but to attract the attention of the only individuals who lurked in these parts?

She was close, too close. It was as if she could feel the breath of the attacker tickling her skin, ready to slaughter her at any second. Where was he or she? She could still smell the traces of a bomb but her eyes and ears would betray her, not allowing her to find her soon-to-be target. Agitation dominated her. Her eyes would dart furtively from any signs of movement nearby. A sound, a shadow, something, anything. She was not alone in those woods, she knew she wasn't! Where was he? Where was she? Show yourself, she resisted the urge to yell at the skies above her. Instead, her lips remained tightly pressed together. Her hand tenderly caressed the hairpin that adorned her head. Foolish, how foolish of her. But Belladonna had never been one to shy away from threat of those around her, it was part of her spirit, her essence. But foolish, oh so foolish...

She was at her foe's mercy.

@Sinister Clown

Santios looks at Arden, and he shakes his head.

"No. If we go one by one, we could easily all be taken out one by one. It's too rsiky. Its best if we all go as a group."

@Kayzo @Defective Kitten

Marcus wore a similar expression to Alex, that is, obvious irritation. Does he not see me bleeding? "I'm a little busy, but if you need to find the base...", Marcus fished the now wrinkled envelope from his pocket, "the address is on here. Give this to the captain while you're there". The letter the Marcus shoved into Alex's hand was in fact Marcus's letter of recommendation. It was that in name only however, in truth it was a record of failures and ineptitudes with some strategically added inkblots to erase any evidence of a certain hated last name, and there was no way Marcus could have added those because the seal was unbroken, right? Replacing his flowerpot and picking up the metal case, Marcus begins to leave.

@Sparkstorm1000

It seems it's night and we're still in the afternoon, if you don't want to talk more I suggest to time skip to the base. Or you could be like me and go be a hermit... up to you

"I agree with Santios, going alone would be very dangerous. And I'd rather not lose my precious Santios so soon." Alice said to Arden, closing her eyes happily and rubbing her cheek against Santios's. "Besides, how do we know if it's anything bad? Maybe it's just a tree falling or something..." Though this was highly unlikely, she just didn't want to go back out to fight today.

@National @Defective Kitten

"Yes, my father was an amazing man. How do you know of him? Have you heard tales of his bravery or have you met him in person?" Megumi asked Tremki, watching as the boy swung around the room. She always loved to hear people speak of her family as she was very proud of her bloodline. The only reason she became a guard was because everyone in her family before her was a guard, most of which were Captains.

Haru Kaori

"No?" she mumbled when he said that he had never mentioned his name. It seemed her memory was fuzzy after all. Actually, she didn't know why she even asked his name. Sharing names means connections. She must be getting dragged by the mood he had created within the room. He then mentioned eating would be painful for him, but he never mentioned why. She noted to herself that she wasn't the only one who was in a fight. "Yet you drink?" she asked, finally giving a a slight smile, though quite a sarcastic one. "Kyou of Night Raid." she started. Now she was assured that this man was indeed an assassin of the revolutionary army. "I am Haru Kaori." she replied. A handshake seemed like the normal thing to do, but such gestures were unknown, almost uncomfortable, to her. She decided to continue with the conversation instead.

"So I'm assuming those wires were your Imperial Arm?" Of course it was. Looking back to the fight against the guard, the said wires move in a manner that was impossible for a person without an Imperial Arm. She simply asked to confirm her hypothesis.

Alexander boringly stares at a now new chess set in front of him, Alzie across from it. The owl hoots as itbsludes a pawn with it's talons, knocking out one of Alexander's Knights. Alexander heavily curses out the bird as he moves a pawn to knock out the birds pawn.

"How long can these guards take? I am definitely marking them all down for being late."

@Kayzo @Sinister Clown @Sparkstorm1000 @Floodwater31 @ all the other guards that I might have missed

Santios smiles, feeling the warmth of Alice's cheek on his. He leans his head on hers as he thinks on what this new threat could be. In all honesty, someone could just be trying to get attention from Night Raid. But who would be crazy enough to do that?

Alexis Jackson

Alexis yawned, waking up from a nap she had taken having been on night watch. Apparently a meeting had been called, much to her dismay, forcing her to wake from her slumber. Quickly, well as quickly as a half asleep person that only slept for two hours after staying up literally all night could move, she shrugged on her clothes with a sigh yawning.

Checking her satchel and making sure she had all of her herbs and such in place, then checking once more, she slung it over her right shoulder and exited her house heading for the building that was meant to be the meeting spot.

Why of all days when she was chosen for night guard did they have to call a meeting directly after. She eventually reached the building and groaned, slowly opening the door.

"Hello Captain Megumi, hello person I've never seen before." She said waving, attempting a smile. She sat down wearily in the closest chair in the back, forcing herself to stay awake.

"Shit...can someone just leave me a gun I'm pretty sure the amulet of chaos ain't gonna do much for me in this situation..." He said then thought for a minuet "SON OF A BITCH!!! My sword is still out there...that was my dad's sword...." He growled and went to the armory and grabbed a sniper rifle I wish I could bond with imperial arm pumpkin that would come in very handy right now he found a

Low window facing as much area as he could see "no way I'm getting left out!" He scanned the forest "might wanna take out that girl she's killing off one of our hunting parties and she's out of my range or if take her out"

Arden

Shaking her head "Then how about this?" Arden took out one fan, preparing herself to leave already, "I'll go first, if anything goes wrong I'll whistle or if I don't come back in fifteen minutes, come for me." Placing her fox mask over her face already planning to leave without their consent, "Deal?" Finishing her 'plan' off with this single word. "I won't die that easily." Trying to reassure them of some of her previously displayed skills. Maybe it's just Smokey the friendly Fire Prevention Bear. "But If I do die then I wasn't good enough for this organization." The eye sockets for the fox masked seemed just a bit gloomier than it usually did when Arden spoke of dying, it was is a touchy topic to talk about.

This had been the most she'd ever talk since she'd met them. It was strange for her to be talking this much but it must've been due to the fact she really wanted them to trust her so.

Takume was set up and ready to go "whenever you guys are ready i am just try to draw the bitch closer by the way it looks like she's a demon..." He said pointing the gun out the window "even if you get her just within the tree line I can shoot her or scare her enough to make sure you have an opening" he trusted his skill more than most people but he was going to try not to get in the way of his shooting he pulled the gun inside and put a silencer on the end "better." He took aim again

Amber smirked as she quickly withdrew deeper into the forest setting up traps along the ways from the corpse then said" I can feel you blood boiling waiting to try and kill what a rookie any good assassin knows when their being followed or targeted".

Seriously guys like him annoy the stuffing out of me an assassin doesn't draw attention to themselves unless need be that's the whole bloody point of being called an assassin. I came from hq because they said the team could do with more man power having to kill the traitors of pact was always part of my plan and does see why I should have to explain it to the rest of them.

Meanwhile pollen turned up as requested looking around at the other guards not really bothered one way or the other he always been the type to do what's best even if they don't like it.

Santios looks at Arden, his eyes showing worry and concern. She was by far the youngest one Here, and now she was going to go off to check something? Then again, it could be nothing, and Santios was just being worried. This was an assassins guild, not a baby sitting home. Arden would be fine, and this Santios believed. He nods at Arden, and smiles.

"Alright then. Go and check what the noise was, and we will wait here. If I don't see you in 15 minutes, in turning this whole forest upside down."

Santios laughs, since the joke was actually something that he could do.
