Doomguy will basically be playing, stat-wise, as in the games to balance him out with the rest of the chars. In other words, he runs at 57 MPH, packs 9 guns, takes trivial damage from rifle-caliber rounds, and can make human-sized demons explode with his fists if on a Berserk pack. And Doomguy technically KILLED Satan (the Icon of Sin) in his universe; specifically by blowing its head apart from the inside with a rocket launcher.


He is basically utterly fearless against demonic hordes- aside from the fact that he's torn Hell a new ass twice (Doom I and II, not counting all the expansions and custom .wads). It's gotten to the point where when he is killed, he'll show up in Hell, just for the demons to open a portal for him home because they're so utterly afraid of incurring his wrath.


Of course, he doesn't really ham it up or act like an edgy twatlord over this. Helps that he basically has the personality of a sentient brick holding a rifle.


His main strengths will be that he can utterly shred massive hordes of smaller enemies and defeat beefgates (i.e. enemies that rely on sheer vitality, not immunity to bullets). His guns are entirely conventional, apart from the BFG-9000.
