She then flew back over to Ghazghkull, smiling a bit at his response he was right about that, but it was not the answer she was looking for. "You are technically right Ghazghkull... But that's not the answer I was looking for. It's Order..." She then looked to her golden apple and pondered it looking as if she were transfixed looking at it. "And Chaos... Both forces, are in a perpetual struggle to overpower one another and establish an inbalance in the natural order. Now to answer your question. My name is Eris, the goddess of discord, strife, and chaos and you are currently in my realm of chaos... I would know, because I am the one who has caused the disagreements to start wars. Famous example being starting the Trojan Wars by giving a golden apple to Paris, in the form of Helen of Troy. Oh, what men will do for desire... And what fun I have had all these millennia and centuries causing and watching this... But such petty matters is not why you were summoned here." Deadpool then chimed in with "Did you at least make some money off of that Brad Pitt flick?" Eris simply chuckled a bit and said "Well, regardless of what the cinema has shown you. That's not how it went. Besides what trivial purpose would I have with money made off of your form of entertainment?" "Give it to me for one thing. Anyway let's get down to the chase here why are we here?" She simply now landed near everyone of the now landed group and said. "Well, I was about to get to that. As I was saying, there is a delicate balance of nature that must be kept in an equilibrium. If chaos for example were to overpower order, if this disruption of the balance in a specific universe goes on for too long the world collapses on itself, and becomes a void of nothing. And no one wants a universe to become a void of nothing with absolutely everyone and everything dead. The same exact scenario happens in a universe with too much order. And here is where you all come in you have been summoned here so that I may ask that all of you serve as my Agents of Chaos to bring the natural balance back to worlds where order overpowers chaos." "So essentially you want us hopping from world to world, throwing shit in the fan to prevent the universes from collapsing in on itself?" She smiled and nodded her head, "Exactly."

And with a giant flash of light a portal appeared ahead of Deadpool. "Sounds to me like another RP is about to go down!" "Of course it does..." "Who cares! This means more fun for us!" "Well in we goooooo!"
And with that he landed in what looked to be a land that could only called chaotic. It had looked as if a nuclear bomb had gone off in a city but the places were seemingly shifting image wise. The entire surroundings would look destroyed but another moment it would look repaired and like a bustling city. "Well, I can obviously tell I am in Jersey. My god, these shifting images of was or had gone on is so trippy... Well I am quite high on life... So it makes sense."

The first one I was thinking of, while is not (too popular or known in depth I would imagine) based off of our powers should be easy enough to deal with, is a good place to cause chaos in and introduce what this RP would entail. And


I also needed one that I was moreorless familiar with and would provide you could suppose a "initiation" and in its own way the universe holds an order built in its totalitarian society. So to do all of this I chose, the universe of '1984' by George Orwell. The other one I had also considered starting off with was Papers Please (which I have a knowledge in, and is more mainstream as well as similar to 1984 but does not have too much lore to work with therefore hard to create a world around it, as well as the fact that

The EZIC Order already acts as a kind of a chaotic revolutionary force

) also if you wish to know, 1984 is the reason why you might know of references to things like 'Big Brother'


But in a nutshell reason for picking 1984 was.


1. It was good for a 'demonstration' or 'tutorial' or kind of an 'initiation' to and for the RP


2. Besides the fact that you are almost constantly monitored and will probably be fighting a lot it's an easy universe to kill enemies but causing the kind of chaos needed, may be difficult and you will find out why and how when you jump in


3. It was something I had a knowledge in and could use lore given to me to create an interactive world.


4. Because Big Brother loves you all and is watching you


If you guys truly want an alternate universe and can provide good reasoning your wish shall be considered, but mostly for now the alternate that I had under current consideration is Papers Please if you wish the alternate universe option for now, unless another one comes to mind.

Well it's good to hear that it got good reception, I felt I was taking a huge risk doing it because it felt it would be a hit and miss kind of universe. Especially since it is not 'mainstream' per say, but since you can understand why in general it has "too much order" it sounds like you guys have a good knowledge of 1984. Which I think is interesting to hear.

@The Omen of Death I do remember you speaking about how the character's powers might be effected by which universe they are in. but would the appearance of the characters also be effected, i just think the mere appearance of an Ork or an sapient triangle could throw universes into some serious chaos

Also, i do hope you realize that once an ork sets foot on a planet, soon grots and squigs will turn up too, and i don't know how the Astotzkan citiziens will react to green dwarves running around and red sharp-toothed beasts chewing people's faces off. After some time, it's possible that even more orks will grow from the spores released. That would cause some permanent chaos on those universes, that may have to be stopped by the Agents of Order. Huh, now that i think about it, this could cause some fun shenaningans.

Oh, I meant that in the case of @Sinister Clown who still has not posted, whose OC's speed was described to be RIDICULOUSLY fast I said we would just have the speed change as we entered universes to compensate and be hittable in some universes, like throwing his character into 1984 at speeds HE COULD BE moving would mean he could probably never be hit.


So I said to compensate we would just edit the speed as per the universes we go too. So unless a universe ends up having a weapon or somethings with the capability to nullify or do something to mess with something like Deadpool's healing factor then technically yes it could be edited.


Also no everyone will retain appearance, and while seeing things like that would add to chaos levels, it DEFINITELY would not be enough to tip the balance back to an equilibrium. Especially in a society like 1984 where people are literally brainwashed to love big brother, hate the enemy of Oceania and to hate Emmanuel Goldstein the leader of the 'Brotherhood' which

Is never confirmed to truly exist. And could very simply be a trap by the Thought Police to eliminate and or 'reeducate' possible dissenters. To keep revolutionary thoughts out of people's minds forever.

and to make people stupid by eliminating 'Oldspeak' which is equivalent to modern day English and replace it with 'Newspeak' to remove all words that give off ideas that the government does not want, or ideas that simply don't exist anymore.


Essentially the moral here is that the government could still hold power and keep things in order even if there was a living ork tank and a triangle Gun God because the people could still be manipulated and brainwashed to love Big Brother all the same and now have a new target to hate on. How you bring the amount of chaos needed to bring it back in balance will be interesting, and again will need a team effort and thinking.
