Soo been wondering what's Agent of Maniacles about?
Not so hard, a big nasty corporation is employing a group of mercenaries to fight a swarm of pests and defeat its queen, team composed by vampires and humans, some with magical ablities, their leader Denton be a shady one, so yeah they go fight the bugs, everything be fine, boss orders them to kill some civilians, so half the team kinda got angry but yeah no time for that as two of the guys became monsters, but heck, nothing that a good team effort can't stop. And then comes the Queen, Big, Purple, with Tentacles and Squishy, team fights the beast and wins after an epic confrontation, it ended with one of the vampires kinda broken and two naked guys but yeah, this is what this story is about, frienndship overall.
So they gather again like three months later, this time the Denton be hiring them to work for the mayor at an island, a weird alcoholic dude which happens to be a god, so this chick, Owl, nice chick I tell you, uses her mind reading trick, and guess what, you can't do that shit to a God man, I mean wtf?, anyway, the alcoholic god kinda liked the girl's guts, so he made her an alcoholic, yeah true story. So there are some side stories going on? Like Kotsu tries to become friends with Aria, then Quentn burning his room down, then Kotsu tries to become friends with the twins, Denton and Morgan have a daughter, and then Kotsu tries to become friends with Sam, this chick be getting horny with the sunglasses fuckboy with a metallic rod (that's his dick btw) and then Kotsu tries to become friends with Owl and Owl rapes him, then blames him, then pre-breaks with him, yeah that's the alcoholic girl, Vivian goes to shopping with Denton, didn't understood that much honestly, I may be missing some shit but fuck it. Anyway they gotta beat this big bad wolf which kinda came from a fairy tale or something, so yeah they try the most natural plan, crossdressing two of the team members and make them get eaten by the wolf... it worked... somehow. And now they be trying to trap some invisible hell demon who can casually kill you by just wanting to and they try to beat it with the most natural plan, make a circle of creativity.... it failed, of course, that was stupid. So yeah team's pretty fucked up, wonder what'll depart to our heroes.

It reminds me of Goblin Slayer's introductory episode. A group of adventurerers thinking that they're all set because they've gone on expeditions before and things have turned out okay. Now they're realizing that things aren't so easy when there are factors you don't take into consideration. Everyone gotta get blood on their knees at some point.
