Realistic or Modern Age of Vikings (Always Accepting!)

Astrid sat around a fire she had set up for herself, boiling water in a heavy steal pot that sat on top of the driftwood fire. She stirred the pot with a large stick, inside was a mixture of her homegrown rosemary and some fresh lavender she had found near by, large slices of fabric swirled around the bowl as she stirred, she had stayed back, knowing full well what she would have to deal with when the fighting stopped. She glanced up at the return of the Warriors.

(I've been so busy with work I haven't had a chance to keep up, sorry guys)

Azura watched the redhead get dragged towards the boat. She shook her head "Weak" she muttered. One Viking was all it took seemingly to capture these girls, while she on the other hand killed about 30 of their men. She wondered where that put her on here. They kept mentioning slaves. The woman with the black hair was the nicer one's Slavs. The redhead, well she would probably be a slave too. But then herself. She hadn't been considered one so far, maybe she was too much of a danger. This allowed a small hint of a smile to creep on her face. She was a survivor. She will always be a survivor. Azura's vision started to fade, and she started to feel light headed, the only thing keeping her up was the Vikings that restrained her.

“Astrid! There you are!” Leiknir shouted merrily, as he saw the pretty viking woman sitting by a fire. “You’d better patch up this one,” he said, pointing to the captured brunette. He glanced at her, and his eyes widened as he saw her zoning out. “You’d better hurry! Do you have some kind of salve? Anything? You two, bring her to the healer! Come, now,” he said, gesturing the men carrying her towards Astrid.

@Sharkiee

(I don’t think it was specified who is actually carrying Azura at this time- I’m assuming it’s a couple of nameless NPCs. Correct me if I’m wrong)

Magnus huffed as he saw Leniknir bound towards Astrid who was stirring herbs peacefully until the cheery fellow arrived with the idiot Saxon girl. He saw that she was bleeding, and he half wished she'd just die. But the pleasure of carving a blood eagle into her back, on the other hand was the more appealing option by far. The swede jogged over his two comrades and spoke. " You better keep that whore alive. We need her for a sacrifice to Odin."

Astrid looked up at the returning party, her eyes focusing on the injured woman, nodding at Lekiner as she grabbing for her kit. "How bad?" She asked opening her pack and pulling out various powders and pastes. She signaled to the men to rest her next to the fire by tapping the ground next to her, she turned her attention back to the pot, fishing out a wet rag.

Malina remained quiet while their entire party reunited. She was speaking quietly in Bulgarian to Astrid and the children.

Telling them not to fight, right now the best chance for safety was to be compliant.

She felt conflicted over the man who had captured her, he had effectively warned everyone else away from her.

He had protected her, whether he knew it or not.

Decthalia entered in on a town that she thought she knew but the memories of it started to slip away. The town that she knew was gone, people killed, blood shed, and homes as well as small stores were raided. Decthalia saw from a far, what looked like to be vikings heading off with a women. Decthalia silently made way to the group of people and instead of keeping herself hidden she revealed herself to them by stepping out behind the boxes of fish that were near the plank. There were boats lined up from both sides and she bet that they were making way to leaving,"I don't mean to ruin this party but that is such a harsh word to call a women who has not done anything to you." Decthalia spoke out in a cold tone of voice. @John Raptorfist

Magnus spun around on his heel, his icy eyes meeting the ones of the newcomer. She just assumed that she had done nothing?! "She has killed almost thirty of our good men. Men that were the shield-brothers to me, and you dare assume she did nothing wrong?! I have all the right in the world to call her that!" He hissed, taking a step closer, axe in hand. The blonde swede swung the blade a few times just for an intimidation factor, as it made a statisfying whooshing noise as it slashed through the air. "Now, what is it that want?"

@sprouhtt

"How bad?" Astrid asked, and Leiknir looked over at her.

“I do not know, really. I just got out here; haven’t seen her before. Just treat her as best you can, Astrid,” he said, smiling at her. The smile faded as he looked towards Magnus.

“Now what’s this about a sacrifice? Isn’t that a waste? I think she’s rather pretty, for a Saxon woman, at least. What did she-”

"I don't mean to ruin this party but that is such a harsh word to call a women who has not done anything to you,” said a woman Leiknir did not recognize. Leiknir blinked twice, then drew one axe and stepped back. He really didn’t want to get into a fight while he carried the redhead, so he set her on her feet and handed her off to the two men who had been dragging the wounded woman. Leiknir told them not to let her move, but not to hurt her unless they had to. For her part, the redhead didn't resist, she just stood there staring at Leiknir. He brought out his shield as well, though the hole in it annoyed him.

Leiknir stood silently, just looking back and forth between Magnus, the new woman, and the wounded woman. He would stand with his comrade Magnus if it came to a fight, of course, but he really wanted to know what in the name of the gods was going on!

"She has killed almost thirty of our good men. Men that were the shield-brothers to me, and you dare assume she did nothing wrong?! I have all the right in the world to call her that!"

Leiknir looked on the wounded woman, surprised, yet rather impressed as well. He hadn’t counted, but he was pretty sure that one woman had killed more than the entire Saxon contingent had, if what Magnus said was true. And why wouldn’t it be? His anger seemed real enough.

"Now, what is it that want?” Magnus finished, as he tried to intimidate the strange woman.

“Yes, what is it you want? You should have kept hiding, woman,” Leiknir said, his eyes narrowing.

Decthalia let out a chuckle,"Be careful with that weapon, you wouldn't want to get hurt now would you?" Decthalia's voice went cold seeing how the man was trying to intimidate her,"You can stop with the act love, I have see many men like you." Decthalia shook her head and walked around the group, looking at them very carefully and cautiously. The sound of the axe's blade did make a swoosh sound in the air but she didn't give much thought into it since she heard that many times. "I wouldn't want to miss all the fun now would I?" She said looking to the man who was narrowing his eyes at her. @Kencen @John Raptorfist

Malina stood in front of Astrid, keeping the small group out of this conflict.

This strange woman was going to get them all murdered for her stupidity.

Stepping forward and completely ignoring the men she snarled at the stranger

"Are you trying to get us all killed you fool?, They will not hesitate!"

She pulled out a Dagger, but instead of turning on the men, she pointed it at the girl.

Her concern was for the children in her care.

Astrid tended to the wounded woman, pressing down to stop the bleeding from her wrist, she looked the woman over, jealous of her beauty, she swallowed her envy and got back to her task of mending her. She fished out another bandage, this time rubbing a paste made of sage and other home grown thing around the wound. She wrapped it tightly, quite proud of her work, she grabbed a blanket from her belongings and threw it around the woman. She waiting for the conflict to finish before saying anything.

"I do not understand why you are being hostile," Decthalia said to the girl who spoke to her in a loud voice. Decthalia let out a sigh seeing how stupid the women is for pointing her dagger at her. Decthalia made way towards the women who dared point a women at her and she stood in front of the women. Decthalia's chest was inches away from the womans dagger,"I would suggest you be careful who you point your dagger at, but if you do mean to hurt me then do so. If not, I suggest you lower your dagger." Decthalia said nicely, Decthalia didn't want to hurt anyone or cause anything with anyone. All she wanted was an explanation as to why the town she had known for ages suddenly went abandoned. @Haus Of Alaska

Malinda froze and eventually lowered her Dagger. She had been afraid for the children.

With a sigh she spoke quietly

"They have taken anything of value, killed anyone who stood against them and taken the rest of us.

I know how these raids work. I grew up on tales of them. My....my father is one of them"

She confessed to the other girl, Feeling uncomfortable all of a sudden, she knew the men would not understand her, hopefully.

@sprouhtt

"Thank you," Decthalia said and looked the girl from her head to her toe. "That's all you had to tell me, I would have understood." Decthalia spoke out. Decthalia was looking for fun but now didn't seem like the time to do so since there were children who's lives could be in danger. Decthalia looked at the girl and then she turned to face the raiders,"You may take me in as one of your prisoners." Decthalia said. She had a plan in mind but she didn't let the girl know of the plan so she stood by the girl as she waited to board the ship. This wouldn't be the first time she let herself get taken in as prisoner, but this time it was different. Decthalia knew if she did or said anything the children and others would get hurt or possibly killed so she kept quiet.Plus this didn't upset her at all that she let them take her as prisoner because she knew she was in for an adventure in possibly taking them down. @Kencen @John Raptorfist @Haus Of Alaska

Magnus shifted his gaze over to Leniknir. "Is woman is just asking for death?" He quickly whispered. Grinning, he nodded to the woman. "As you wish." He cut a strip of bloody cloth with his seax and began to tie it around the girl's hands. Now that she was bound, the swede let his hands travel on her, touching places that would normally be considered offensive if preformed on a free woman. But she was a slave now, and Magnus could have his way with her. "Hmph. Very nice." He spoke in a low tone to the newly enslaved woman. "Looks like Inghard isn't the only one getting their own woman today." Magnus chuckled before raising his voice. "I claim this one!"

@sprouhtt @Kencen

Astrid watched as the man fondled the woman, it made her skin crawl to see woman, just like her, treated as such, but she was a free woman, and she was grateful for it. Some more wounded men had returned to the ship, which meant she was needed, excusing herself, she collected the soaking bandages and her herb remedies, a few men needed to be stitched up, which she didn't mind. Taking a needle and thread from her sactual she worked on an open cut on a mans forearm, carefully making sure the cut was clean from infection smeering the same sage ointment over it before wrapping it up. Astrid worked fast and quiet, aware the men were not inclided to speak with her.

Decthalia looked at him as he touched her, letting his hands travel all over her curves and places where he shouldn't touch. Decthalia didn't move nor did she say anything, but whenever this would happen to her she would end up taking the life of a man who dared touch her. Decthalia was at a point where she could stab this man anytime, she had no reason not to until she looked at one of the kids there and she knew if she did something would happen so she decided to do something about it later. Decthalia mentally put a note on the man who was touching her, because she knew she was going to teach him a lesson. Decthalia looked straight at him,"Bastards, thinking you can put your hand on whomever you choose." Decthalia spat as her voice turned cold.

Azura silently let the woman tend to her wounds. She felt less dizzy but still weak and tired from the entire day. She watched lazily as some ignorant woman got on the ship and started ranting about starting a fight and such. Of course the men got hostile. Then it all changed so quickly. She suddenly wanted to be a prisoner. She narrowed her eyes in suspicion but said nothing. She obviously had a plan. Then the brute started feeling her. "Oh god forbid you don't have your sex!" Azura muttered loudly and angrily and a bit irritated as well.

Magnus simply laughed at her threats. As long as her hands were bound, they meant nothing. "Ha! You signed up for this." The swede bellowed, looping his axe back onto his belt. He stalked around her, now facing his slave, his icy blue gaze meeting hers, he swiped away a strand of her hair with a bloodstained finger. He loomed over the woman as he spoke in his low tone of voice. "Do you have a name? I'm Magnus, by the way. Just so you have something to say when you are moaning with pleasure." He said softly with a wry grin, placing his arm on the post behind the woman. Whipping his head to the dangerous Saxon woman, Mangus hissed, "Shut it! You have a long trip ahead of you."

Azura's eyes narrowed and she shook her head "You men are all the same, cocky, sensitive, horny idiots" Azura says tilting her head with a cold smirk.

Decthalia looked back at the man with a cold and intense look, she wasn't having any more of this but she couldn't blow her cover just yet. But to Decthalia this wasn't merely what she had received in the past, and those people who have done her wrong have paid for their actions in death. Decthalia cringed when he spoke to her, especially what he had told her. "You bastard, like I would ever sleep with the likes of you." She said with such a stern voice. The children that were behind her began to give slight laughter at what she said to him before they went completely silent.

(are we on the boat or are we about to go on?)

I think we are on the boat still) "I doubt you'll have a choice." Magnus said, grabbing her chin in his hand. "You are quite pretty for one that is so aggressive. But, that seems to be the norm with you Saxon women." His body was now practically rubbing against hers now, Magnus ran a hand through her hair. "I think you'll be...pleasantly surprised once we bed." The swede smirked before forcefully kissing her, Pushing her back up against the mast of the ship. He didn't care that she hated him, Magnus hadn't had romantic contact with a woman in almost three years, when his wife and unborn child were killed. (Gotta go for the night, be back tomorrow)

@sprouhtt

Azura cringed as he forced his mouth into the girls. "That's disgusting. Get a room." She said bluntly. Azura yawned. Azura looked at the children, annoyed. "Honestly you should just kill the children." Azura said irritated.

@sprouhtt[/URL]
Decthalia was taken by what he did and as he pushed her against the mast of the ship her head hit the wood causing her to groan. An anger built up inside of her and she forcefully and aggressively pushed him away from her. Decthalia brought her leg up so she could take her dagger from inside of her bootleg and she began cutting the cloth that they wrapped around her wrist and once it was at a point in which Decthalia pulled the cloth apart and she held her dagger firmly in her grasp. Decthalia moved away from him and she went to a spot where there weren't any people. "The children are innocent and you want to kill them, why? What have they ever done to you?" Decthalia said to the women who shouted out. @DarknessSpirit
