Realistic or Modern Age of Vikings (Always Accepting!)

In the meantime Aron had grabbed the small torch, taking it into one hand as he worked a flint and steel to get the end lit. After some troble, he managed to hold it by his gut with hand shielding it from the wind. He let out a brief sigh as he saw her falling by asleep, taking a short moment to glance at Magnus before going to quickly bring the flame down on the bleeding leg, makin suee he cauterized the entirety of it before bringing it back away. He had hoped Magnus would hold her down as he did this, biting down on his lip.

Astrid had managed to stop the bleeding and the men were resting, she cleaned herself up in a bucket brought to her by a slave. She looked at Agnar from where she sat, she had made some tea from birch and moss, she had handed it out to all the men that helped her . The stress of the situation clearly getting to them all. She joined Agnar where he sat, "they will be fine, I cannot promise they will be better for the war" she frowned handing him a mug of the tea she had brewed, she relaxed a little letting out a sigh resting her head on his shoulder.

Magnus scrambled forward as he saw that Aron was about to cauterize the wound. Azura looked as though she had drifted off, the red-hot burn of a flame to her skin would wake her up without a doubt. So, Magnus held the woman down by the shoulders so she wouldn't lash out as the Slav did his work. "If I may ask, why were you running and why is the slave wounded?"

Azura was shortly awoken by a burning pain, she tried to sit up, screaming out in pain as she tried to kick him Aron away, she would've probably hit him if Magnus had not held her down, she bit her lip to keep out from screaming again, breathing heavily.

Aron brought the flame back away as he grimaced at the reaction, bringing the flame back away and letting the wind put it out. He let out a sigh, beginning to coat the wound in the ointments as he looked back at Magnus, raising a brow at him, "I killed three of your men saving her." He spoke with his blunt homesty as he got right back to his work, his blonde braid blowing behind him and waving in the wind. "And she's not a slave anymore."

@DarknessSpirit @John Raptorfist

"Three of Agnars men, that is. I'm sick of that earl." Magnus sighed, backing away from Azura and the Slav as Aron finished up his work. The swede pulled his seax from its shealth, it was the only weapon he had on him due to the rushed nature of his departure. His heart sank a little when he thought about how he hadn't given Astrid a proper goodbye. Maybe he'd see her again someday, but this was today, and Magnus was homeless. "Do you know where we're headed?" The man asked, scratching the back of his neck.

@northguy

Aron finished dressing the wound with a long huff, leaning his back against the wagon as he reached into a large bag. Inside would be seen different scrolls of varying sizes, each newer or older than on another. The one he pulled out seemed a bit old, a few rips and unnecessary folds marks, opening it to open a map of the region of Norway they were in. He whistled as he spoke up over to his slave who lead the horses, "Tao mot vong tron." He quickly commanded behind him, looking back up to the two once more, mostly speaking to Magnus. "Well. No point in having enemies if we have no friends, suppose we need to make some."

Decthalia was walking down the street of the village, heading away from town. Her feet were aching and hurting from walking all day long and she didn't have a horse to ride on either. Decthalia was a long way from the village so she knew she couldn't turn back so all she knew what to do was keep on moving forward.

Magnus nodded at Aron, yawning. "Such as, who?" He asked, his belly really missing a flagon full of mead right around this time. Before the swede could even hear an answer from the Slav, he spotted a familiar form walking oh so very slowly on the desolate path ahead of them. Turning to Aron Magnus spoke. "I think I know that woman, she used to be a slave of mine." Thinking that there wasn't really anything else to lose, the man hollered at the woman out in the road. "Saxon!" He shouted, due to never getting her name.

@sprouhtt @northguy

"Magnus.." Decthalia muttered from under her breath when she heard a familiar voice yelling her name. She hated when he called her that but then again she never had told him her name. Decthalia ran her hand through her hair and she kept on walking at the speed she was in, which wasn't fast, and she looked over her shoulder to see that it was Magnus and the man that she had met when she was near the kitchen eating the piece of bread. @northguy @John Raptorfist

Magnus smirked. "Looks like you've been walking a long way Saxon!" The man looked over his shoulder to the Slav. "What do you think? Should we let her come in with us?" He asked in a hushed tone, gripping the wooden sides of the cart. If the Saxon girl were about to be let in, this moving shack was about to get a whole lot more crammed then it already was.

@northguy @sprouhtt

Aron raised his hand up as he commanded his slave driver to stop, the cart coming to a halt. He silently put his hand down on the end of it before dropping down to the floor. He looked her over, liking what he saw, though that wasn't neat his intention or the time for it. He crossed his large arms back over one another, "You're a Saxon?"

Azura had fallen back asleep after the ointments were applied. Azura had fallen into a restless slumber as the wagon rolled along, rolling back and forth. However Magnus's abnoxious yelling had woken her up. Azura felt somewhat weak, she put her hand in her throbbing forehead and groaned, she tried to sit up instantly, the pain in her leg startling her, and she bit her her lip to keep from yelling out. "Ugh shut up, Magnus, I bet Agnar could hear you from here." She groaned out hoarsely.

Decthalia stopped at the same time as the wagon did and she looked up to him. Decthalia ran her hand through her hair and saw a young women begin in the wagon that they were in and she wondered where they were headed to. "It's your choice, take me or leave me." She said to him. "My name is Decthalia, and Saxon is what he chooses to call me even though I don't like being called one." She told him as she cleared her throat. "Where are you two heading?" She asked. @northguy @John Raptorfist @DarknessSpirit

Turning to Azura, who'd suddenly awoken from her slumber and was already complaining to him. "Shut up Mangus!" He mocked in a childlike manner, rolling his eyes. Turning his attention back to the Saxon girl, she seemed like she wasn't opposed to hitching a ride with their motley crew. "I call you Saxon, because you wouldn't tell me you're name." Magnus said, matter-of-factly, leaning over the side of the cart to look the woman in the eyes.

Azura scowled at him but said nothing to Magnus. She looked around, finding no familer surroundings. But suddenly, she knew she couldn't go back, she knew how this looked. She looked at Magnus sharply. "Do you have an idea what you've done being here? How this looks?!" Azura didn't want to face up against Agnar as an enemy again.

Aron let out a brief sigh as he looked over to Magnus, letting his attention go back to Decthalia as he spoke once more. "We're visiting an earl, still a day's ride away but, we'll be there soon enough." He looked back over to the two in the wagon, his eyes particularly landing on Azura's wound, crossing his arms. "Though we should rest and be sure her leg is fine, we want to be riding during the night, not sleeping."

"Well now you know my name so there is no need to call me a Saxon." She told him as she gave him a cold look. Decthalia hoped for their paths to never meet but here she is. Decthalia walked over to the wagon and she looked in to see the girls leg and how badly wounded she looked,"I can help her," she said as she looked to Aron. Decthalia had practiced medicine on her free time as well as herbal medications, she has used her skills in medicine only a few times since she hardly spent her time with people.

@northguy @John Raptorfist @DarknessSpirit

Magnus seated himself back on the cart floor as Aron and the girl he found out to be named Decthalia talked business. Azura was yelling at him about something again, and he sighed. "Frankly, no. What does this look like Azura?" He asked the Bulgar in a frustrated tone. "Aren't you supposed to be resting anyway? It looks like we will be visiting another earldom." Magnus said as Decthalia was about to enter the cramped cart.

@sprouhtt @DarknessSpirit

Aron looked a bit confused as he gazed between Magnus and Azura, intersecting their conversation as he spoke. "You might be confused who saved you and killed those men. Magnus just hopped on for the ride, he could go back and the Earl wouldn't know a thing." He finished with a shrug as he looked back to Decthalia, "We could always use more swordso on the road, and walking isn't going to get you anywhere quickly."

"Thank you for letting me tag alone," Decthalia said to him as she stepped on the two small steps to get up to the wagon and she took a seat next to Aron since she didn't want to sit next to Magnus after what he's done to her. Decthalia looked out into the distance and saw a long travel ahead,"I don't mean to probe but what are you guys going to do in the other kingdom?" SHe asked him. @northguy @John Raptorfist @DarknessSpirit

"Live, hopefully." Magnus said bluntly, whilst sharpening his seax with a small stone. The tool had used quite a bit recently, and it was the only weapon Magnus had at the moment, so he made sure to keep it deadly sharp. He actually didn't really know what they were going to do once they reached this new earldom, he guessed whatever Aron had planned for them.

@DarknessSpirit @sprouhtt @northguy

Azura just shook her head at Magnus "You've just started something way bigger then you think, it looks like your rebelling against Agnar, and if that gets out, stupid people are going to join. I think your smart enough to know where that directions going." Azura said in a serious time, she was bad at thanks, and apologizing. Azura shifted in discomfort of her leg.

Aron whistled up to the slave who headed the horses as he walked on the side of the wagon, letting his long axe rest on his shoulder as the wagon moved at the same pace as him, speaking over to the wagon. "That's because he is." He briefly stated, letting the axe-head sway from side to side as his gaze kept on the path ahead. "And that's what we're headed to do."

"Agnar is a weak man who doesn't deserve to be the earl of our people." Magnus mumbled, cleaning under his fingernails with the tip of his knife. He glanced over at Aron. "So who is this earl, anyway?" Magnus grunted, as he looked for some wood to carve into. Eventually, the man settled on a chunk of oak. It was already shaped, so it was most likely used as a spare. A spare for what, Magnus did not know.
