Nisshoku was sitting quietly in a pub when a suspicious looking character walked in, what was even stranger was the fact that he'd just been offered 30,000 gold to go into town and kill..anyone although the guys reasons were unknown Nisshoku just simply nodded and accepted the contact request "well at least the offer was decent" he said quietly as he left the pub and headed to the center of the town looking around for a decent target, after a few minutes he'd seen a new player just spawn in obviously excited about starting the game "this moment will be short lived" Nisshoku said quietly as he walked up to the player with his katana drawn, he waisted no ti, e slashing down the player in front of everyone "strange it never works here..." he said sounding a little shocked himself but he shrugged it off and sent a message to SilverKeon302" it's done...".

A few minutes after killing that new player the police guild arrived but he wasn't worried about those idiots "either I've been set up or this is a test either way I still get paid" nisshoku said as he activated his speed style ability and quickly slashed the guild down all except for the captain "I suppose you can just look the other way unless you wanna end up like theses idiots" he practically told the captain what to do as he headed to and item shop to sell all these players items .

As he was walking around town, still hiding his face with the hood of the robe and the purple scarf he always wore, he received a message back from the player he hired.

Message From: Nisshoku It's done...

He sighed, wondering what to do now. He could tell that the player had taken out the guild, but the player seemed not to care very much that he was not forewarned of it, thankfully. He brought up the Guild Menu that showed all the available guilds he could send a join request to, but instead of sending one, he sent all the newest ones that seemed to be made within a week a message, 'Safe Zones got disabled, don't know why, but they are, so watch out for PK'ers.' He sighed again, partly wishing someone else had found out the bug before he did, but then he would most likely be dead by know if that were the case. He brought up his contacts window next.

To:Nisshoku 30,ooo Gold sent

Hey sorry 'bout the guild after you, and if you even care about if it was either a setup or a test, it was both. A setup in case you failed the test, or in case you too weak and scared to take on the job. Thanks although, at least we now know that for some reason the Safe-Zones are disabled and nobody is safe...

He sent the message and closed the menu. 'Gotta get out of here before I get killed or worse..' He thought to himself as he walked onto the Teleport Gate. "Tarbelm!" He said as he was teleported to a small village on the second floor. 'If I just lay low here, nobody should be able to find me unless they both have the tracking skill and are in my contacts, which is nobody except for that assassin, and I can just pay him off not to kill me if he gets hired...' He thought to himself as he walked up to a NPC Home Merchant selling a medium-sized hut for 45,000. "That's a nice home your selling, how about we talk about the price a bit though?" He said as he activated his

Sales and Purchase Negotiation Skill.

After finishing his conversation with Sakura, Makishiru looked into the crowd. Something else was stirring. He could see that people were getting notifications. It was advertising a demonstration of the new colosseum feature. Normally colosseum wouldn't be played on the first floor. But this was a special to demonstrate it to the new players. The colosseum was located in Colosseum city. It would be disappearing at the end of the day. "Well, let's head there shall we. Um… I didn't get your name."

Makishiru didn't like checking the info next to the player. It seemed intrusive.

With a click of the teeth, Sammy's inbox popped into full view, effectively blocking out the face of the surprised bartender now slinking up with drink in hand. As the screen momentarily glowed translucent, items quickly changed hands; a few Col for a drink. She took a second out to marvel at the condensed water dripping off the side of the glass, as well as how simple life was once you knew all the shortcuts. Back in the early goings, Advent life was something fierce. Under the constant threat of player-killers and being harassed by undesirables, forward progress was pretty much non-existent. Yet, when she received a mysterious message from an unknown sender immediately after completing a half-hearted kill, things seemed to change for the better.

It was weird at first though; Sammy was shimmering in and out of existence for quite some time, until the avatar finally seemed to stabilize itself an hour later. Thinking back on it now, she knew it was the game's data, being downloaded directly into her personal codex. Now armed with a treasure trove of top-secret information, the Guild
"Sparrows" was formed not too long after. Sparrows: a guild of hunters united under one banner. A guild of players who hunted, simply because they wanted to. Though there were many sections to the faction ranging from "Item hunters" to "Picture hunters", there was one unit that she loved dealing with the most: "Monster hunters".

It was from this unit, that the message came from. The young and reckless upstart SnowFox, had finally competed the list of monsters Samantha sent for her to find:

[Hello! Number #1 has finally been caught! It was a pain in the butt though..I mean, I know number ones are supposed to be hard to catch but this one was HARD! The darn thing kept dissapearing on me! It took me half a day but I finally got it. There was a time I all but lost. Then guess what? The stupid detection skill finally decided to work and I was able to catch it's scent again. If I ever make another character, I am NOT using THAT skill. Piece of junk. But anyway, I think you owe me some money now right? Haha. I hope it's enough to get that outfit I've been eyeing..Okay, okay. I'm talking too much right? Ah! Sorry, Sorry! There is one more thing I have to tell you. I met a nice group of people a while back, and they kinda make me wanna go on the straight and narrow you know? Especially this one guy. But that's not important. I don't want to mess things up with these guys so...I would like to leave the guild..Believe me there's nothing wrong with it, just that. I think they'll trust me more if I show them I'm standing out here plain as day with nothing to hide you know? Well, I hope you understand where I'm coming from. I enjoyed being in your guild. I really did! I definitely learned things i'll take with me forever..If anything, I sent you a friend request. Please accept!]

For the first time in many days, the archer's face softened and broke into a light grin. The girl may not have been the smartest, but she was certainly a joy to be around. Hitting reply button she sent:

[it is not a problem. Sparrows was happy to have you Aila. I completely understand. Our reputation is not a pristine one. We have made mistakes. So if it's better for you to not associate with us, go on ahead and do what you feel is best. We will always be here if you need us of course. Just say the word. So, farewell Snow. I'll be wishing you all the best.]

In addition to the response, 15,000 Col was attached to the message as payment for completing the list of captures. It was then that a notice flashing red-and-blue popped up onto the screen. So it's time for the Colosseum again then huh. Touching the long since faded scars on her left arm, Sammy's mind briefly drifted back to the last one she entered. Knowing most of the game's secret didn't mean anything when one didn't know how to use them. It didn't stop the pain shooting through the nerves when some stabbed into your flesh. Neither did it lessen the force of being slammed into a wall from the blow of an Air-Style user. It was all irrelevant. But that was then, this is now. With Damano's bow fastened to by a row of clasps stitched into the back of her robe, Sammy sauntered out of the pub with hands interlocking behind head.

Moments later, a teleporation crystal with the name "Urbus" etched into it was being clutched tightly. In a flash of light, the name
"Colosseum City" sprang into view inside the crystal, rapidly taking the spot of the previous location. As the stone began taking effect, Sammy was covered in a dance of sparkling blue light, transforming into a stream of data, then moments later coming back together in front of a dome-less stadium. The Colosseum. Hasn't changed a bit..Well in any case, I hope this time's an interesting one.

Sakura looked at the person next to her. "Sakura." She said, her tails bobbing up and down behind her. They say that the Nine tailed fox is a lucky spirit. Well then, I guess she was considered the lucky player. She smiled and looked at the coliseum notification. She accepted it, looking back at her new companion.

Korala stepped onto 95th floor's teleport gate, "Teleport Town of Beginnings." she clapped, the blue light engulfing her being. After she opened her eyes, she stood in the middle of the town where it all began, correspondingly named so. A notification popped in her face regarding a new Colosseum feature, interesting she thought. She would have to check it out later, since last feature was left with needed rework and broken exploits, how fun. She exited out the message as she began to walk toward the artisan merchants. It was the easiest to shove all the miscs drops over to them for quick gold.

As she started to make her way over, of course she would be interrupted by crude-looking thugs who lurk the town. A large bearded man towered before her, obviously the leader, standing arrogantly as he blocked her path. He opened his mouth to speak, but stopped short as his eyes bulged out, Korala's fist lodged deeply in his fat, soft belly before he was sent flying a couple meters high in the air. The rest of the thugs dropped their jaw and stared wide eyes at her and their sorry boss before running away like the unloyal scum they are. Korala stepped over the fallen man as he lays there reassessing what had just happened before the delicate girl sent him flying.

She stopped by the merchant, opening up her inventory as she summoned 17 intricately designed vases onto the counter. The man gasped in surprised, examining the vases closely for their authenticity with his monocle. After deeming them to be real, he offered 300k each for a total of 5100k, these vases would normally be bought or 500k from more high-class npcs but Korala accepted anyway. After leaving the man so that he could admire the investment he had made, Korala shuffled over to a nearby bench, sitting down and looking pretty. She decided to warp to the Colosseum later, there wasn't any rush as she started to relax.

Pan watched all the people grouping up by the gates.

"All of these people are way too high leveled. They won't want a noob like me pulling them down. What I need is either somebody kind enough to take them in, or at least one other low level companion...."

He sighs and knows that either will likely not happen. Not knowing what else to do, the player sits down once again and takes out his brewing stand. He had 1 of each ingredient left to make another mana potion, so he gave it a shot.

Player PanifestDestiny has brewed a Star Potion! Star potions are an incredibly rare craft that have a 0.01 chance of being made out of any random potion brewed. They give the ability to be invincible for a full 30 minutes, both mana and health regenerating at nearly impossible rates!

100 exp gained! Level up!

This message popped up in every player's face. If rare items are found, a message is broadcasted to the entire server. And since there was only one server in Advent Online, that meant everyone.

Players searched for this "PanifestDestiny" character, and one by one, everyone around Pan slowly looked towards him. He heard such remarks as
"Come on, a NOOB got a Star Potion!" or "This isn't fair!"

Pan looked down at the multicolored concoction in his hands. He was incredibly overjoyed at his luck as well as incredibly frightened for his life. Any bandit of a high level that wanted his rare potion could easily kill him for it. He needed to find some form of protection and fast.

He looked at the alert and sighed. If you considered someone a newbie based on how long they have played a game, then yes, he was a rookie, but skill-wise and Information-wise, he was far from rookie. Although he wasn't too prideful of his combat skills, it was very rare for someone to be on par with the information he knew and figured out. He accepted and he got a Teleport Crystal to Colosseum City. He used it and was teleported like several other people in front of a stadium with no-dome. Letting out a huge sigh, he knew that if he participated in this tournament or whatever, he would eventually be accused of cheating for knowing which point on a sword can lower it's durability the most, or when he activated his Double Image Style and used himself as a decoy, or this or that. 'Maybe I could just bet on someone to win? Nah, cause then they could say I somehow helped to win and cheated...' He thought, '...Unless they have a Guild vs. Guild setup, then I could just join a guild that either really needed more players or more money from the win...' He realized as he looked around, but to his dismay none of the guilds needed either, and the ones that DID were far too weak. He decided to look at the Newest Guilds list from his Guild Menu. 'Stupid....stupid......weak.......weird.......very stupid..........weak........stupid......' He thought as he scrolled down the list, 'Stu-wait...that username sounds familiar....do I know him?....no, he wouldn't have made an open guild then....I think its something-something-master? Whatever, he is strong from what I can remember, so lets go with him.' He decided as he clicked Join.

Hey look, I'm trying to help clear the misunderstanding from earlier. You can use the Faker Robe's to hide your username from people, but they break when you leave a town, which is why I gave you two. You can either use one right now, goto Tarbelm which is on the 2nd Floor, and is a pretty isolated village and lay low for a bit, or you can form a party with me, and you can teleport to me, or I teleport to you, whatever. I'm just trying to help, but if you can handle it, then by all means, handle it.

"So the Colosseum is open this should be fun" nisshoku said as he watched players team up and attempt to join guilds he had a few guild invites but he never responded to any if he were to join a guild it would have to be one he could really work with "maybe laughing coffin, those guys are pretty good but I don't think they kill for the same reason as me" he said while walking around the outer Colosseum waving off players who wanted to party up with him, he was a semi solo player he would party up with people but only if they were really skilled and could watch his back while holding their own but it was rare to meet players like that.

The wind blew calmly through his hair as his scarf swayed behind him with every step "maybe I should buy a house so I don't have to hang here all the time" he'd always thought about butbthe fact that he'd rarely be there alaways made him reconsider but depending on the prices he'd look into it.

Bruce Opened his eyes and looked around his room. he had just took pre-dive nap and was ready for anything grabbed the Amu-sphere off the desk next to him and put it on while laying back down. he took deep breaths to calm his excitement to finally play an closed his eyes yelling with a very big smile "Link Start!!" He carefully created his character and entered the name <Rayth Ironside>. When he was finsh he was dropped on his feet in the middle of the town and looked around.

"
Town of beginnings... The very place the black swordsman began his adventure... AWESOME!!!" he remarked as walked down the road checking himself out. As he looked he found a longsword on his back and was immediately upset "Really? a sword?... This is not sword art online anymore..." he said disgustedly as he tossed the sword on the ground which everyone that may have been watching him would think was a act of insanity. He continued down the road and looked for a shop that would sell hammers, as he walked he got distracted by bird and ran right into a girl with a tail? no there was more then one but he bowed and apologized saying "Sorry miss i didn't see you there".

He was once again being generous. It was obvious that he was being sincere, giving him so many items like this.

This was Pan's turn to send a message:

RE: Laying Low Hey there. I need to start by saying thank you for all the help. I believe I'm going to take the Faker's robes and run for it, but forming a party is definitely not out of the question. I believe I'm going to have to go on foot through Floor 1, correct? You can only teleport to towns you have never visited unless you're on the same floor as the town. Since that's the case. I'm going to trek through and see if I can gain a few levels as well. The boss is dead, so that shouldn't be a huge problem. I'll fill you in on details as time goes on.
RE: Laying Low

Oh, and take this as a thank you.

1x Potion of Mana

The best that I can give you right now, hope it counts.

-Pan

Pan was feeling a bit more confident now. If he hadn't looked up a lot of stuff on the Advent wiki while he awaited the game, he would not know nearly as much as he does, which would be very bad for him.

He puts on a Faker's Robe and Stores the rest of the items in his inventory. He suddenly does a
double-take. "A HOMESTEAD Deed? As in, a permanent house? That must have costed a load! Why is he giving so much to me?" So many thoughts swam through his head. He temporarily forgot and realized he had to get to Tarbelm as soon as possible.

"Off I go..."

Lumiere's facial expression didn't change from that stern look, he just watched as the bandana-clad man ran for his life. The leader, had turned his back on Lumiere momentarily watching him go, and as soon as Lumiere noticed that it happened, his left hand would grasp the sheath of his Katana. His thumb pressed against the finger guard, pushing the weapon out of it's hilt before the fingers of his opposite hand would wrap about the handle. Springing forward, the outline of his character would blur - to the woman who was watching the spectacle from behind, he disappeared completely and reappeared right behind the bandit leader.

Two slashes. The first came from the sheath, slashing diagonally upwards and to the right. The second slash was horizontally, across his midriff starting at the middle of his back from right to left. As the man's HP dwindled down quickly, Lumiere would send his right foot rocketing into the man's side, at the top of the horizontal cut. This caused the man's upper torso to completely slide halfway off his bottom half, while turning into pixels and disappearing. All that was left was the man who was running; Lumiere had given him quite the head start.

Whipping his Katana back into it's hilt quickly, he slid the entire weapon into it's sheath until the finger guard clicked against the rim. Then, he began running after the bandit, his body moving in the complete range of motion during his sprint as he quickly and easily caught up to the slower, obviously lower-level male. Though, it was fair to say that practically everyone in the game was technically a lower level, but that discussion was purely for a different time and place. Lumiere eventually did get level with the other man, and even pulled out ahead of him before he abruptly stopped about ten feet ahead of the man with no warning.

The bandana-bandit tried his hardest to slow down, but he was eventually forced to when Lumiere raised his fist and the bandit ran into the back of his knuckles, causing the man to stagger back slightly to ultimately fall back on his ass. Lumiere turned and quickly hopped on top of the man, locking his legs under his waist. Underneath, the bandit struggled to get out of the full-mount position but there was nothing that he could do. Fully extending his torso and raising his right arm back, Lumiere would begin repetitively smashing his elbow into the archer's face - returning to the full range of motion each time so as to get all his power and momentum into the hits. The man's HP dwindled down to zero after four hits, with Lumiere's elbow smashing into the dirt below for the final fifth elbow.

Lifting himself from the disintegrating pile of man, the woman who he saved had come chasing after him. Lumiere stood up and turned, ultimately extending his hand out and palming the girl's face away from him as she attempted to wrap her arms around his stomach.
"No, thank you. I don't do what I do in order to receive payment of any form. Maybe you should be a bit more careful about traveling out on your own from now on." When the woman had finally ceased moving, halting her advances as well, Lumiere would let his hand drop from his side. With that, he would walk away from the female without another word. To the Town of Beginnings!

The entrance from the Purple Forest to the Town of Beginnings led through the marketplace. Lumiere had gotten to the entrance, before stopping and taking a note of the large crowd which had been swarming about. Those crimson iris' took in the sight of sheepish players, moving like zombies from broker to broker as a look of disgust grew to adorn his features.

    New Player ☆

Grace

Grace continued to twirl her sword in her hand as she made her way to the town gates, using her other hand to tuck strands of hair behind her left ear as she looked around again. There were a lot of new players as well, which should've been a surprise as well since everyone was talking about it literally everywhere she had went today. Another message danced in front of her face as a notification for the Coliseum and she raised an eyebrow. Her? At the Coliseum? I hope they didn't expect her to partake in this event because she could hardly do anything yet, just... a bunch of fancy sword welding crap. Oh, but she could do flips, too! How exciting! Offline, flips were like a mythical thing to her so, of course, she should take advantage of the opportunity, right? Right.

With another wave of her hand, Grace didn't choose
accept or decline and just dismissed the message. She smiled to herself and sheathed her sword again in order to do another somersault, the feeling liberty being a pure impulse in her action. No skills needed to be activated because, hell, doing a simple flip in game was easy, right? Right. Grace jumped into the air and shifted the weight of her body so she could upturn, performing a flip but when her feet had hit the ground, her footing was completely off. In result, her weight shifted abruptly and gravity was keen on making her look like a fool, which had succeeded because she fell forward; landing right on her face.

Grace groaned and contemplated on yelling out: "
I officially hate this game now!" but that was just the thing. It was game and the impact of her face connecting with the ground didn't hurt at all. Though, with large crowd forming in the Town of Beginnings, someone was bound to say something about her mishap. Especially those of a higher level. She sighed and picked herself up, idly brushed her gear off and agreed with herself that maybe she should tone down the flipping for a while.

After reading the message back from Pan and accepting the potion that was given, he got out his teleport crystal nearest to the Floor 1 dungeon, which was the guild hall of the Bull's Shield guild, the same guild that had gotten beaten by that assassin. 'They won't be to happy with me, in fact once they let me speak, they'll most likely hate me.' He predicted as he used one of the teleport crystals he had. Arriving there, the captain immediently grabbed him by the throat and demanded a reason why he didn't warn them about how high level the assassin was. Highly annoyed and losing patience quickly, he backhanded the captain, knocking the player back for a few seconds, which he used to get out his dagger, stab the captain in the chest, and get back up to speak. "Look, I am REALLY out of pateince right now, so back off, and I'll reduce the debt you owe for all those weapons you wasted during your FAILED RAID at the dungeon, that I HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED OF, not to mention all the money you kept SPENDING TO KEEP BANDITS AWAY. YEA I KNOW ABOUT THAT." He yelled inside the medium-sized building, that was bought with his money. He walked over to a clerk on the main desk."I want to withdraw ALL the money that is stored here under my name, afterwards withdraw all investments that are stored here under my name as well." He spoke in a highly annoyed, tone while clenching his teeth.

From:Bull's Shield Guild 230,000 Gold Received

Afterwards, he walked out of the guild hall, and found himself about 2 miles from the dungeon. Calming down, he headed towards the general direction of it, since he needed to find and follow Pan before he was jumped by any bandits, or arrived at the dungeon before he got there.

"Nah, you're just too damn noob." Korala responded to the mental cry, she didn't have to yell it but it was apparent what the girl was thinking. Korala normally left people and their own problems to themselves but today was an exception. Sitting on the bench, she continued to look at this starting player with a calm demeanor, although it felt quite mocking. Korala slowly raised the fork of chocolate cake to her mouth, eating the final piece before opening up her inventory with her free hand. With a dragging motion, the plate of cake disappeared into particles. She brushed the chocolate residue from the side of her lips before standing up, going to teach this noob an easy game mechanic.

"Hey girl, I'll show you how to flip." She patted down her dress as she began to go through the procedure slowly,"Now it's simple, all action in this game will be completed by the game engine. It's a waste of effort to try to do it by yourself, all you need to do is do the start up motion. For a front flip it's like this." She demonstrated, it was quite fast to see but if Grace paid attention she would would see the start of it, which was what only mattered."And it's that simple haha..." Korala tilted her head with finger pressed against her cheek, wondering if this explanation was easy enough to understand for this new player.

She continued doing flips in place as she waited for the girl to try, testing out her mechanics skills but doing multiple flips in one jump. It took some timing to get 3 flips in one go, since you had to do the start up motion midair before your feet had landed on the ground. Although she did the only a small hop instead of a full jump, which is a helpful trick in combat. Jumping short and dropping fast reduces the lag and lack of possible movement while you're still in the air which enemies could abuse. Although this was a more important to know in PVP. "Hup." she landed one last time, smiling at her skills.

Lumiere watched as a female flipped, ultimately overshooting her motion and landing on her face. Then, another female that Lumiere had been familiar with since the original Sword Art Online had made her presence known. She did a couple of flips, showing off as per her usual self. Feeling a bit uncomfortable, Lumiere would readjust the collar on his coat, not particular enjoying the awkward vibes stemming from the situation in front of him. The young man had been watching the entire spectacle throughout the duration, before he came to a sudden yet non-in-the-least-bit shocking realization.

"... Both of these people are fucking idiots."

The light-brown haired male would cross his arms in front of his chest, the wind coming through to make everything momentarily breezy. He let the silence dance around his ears like a serene melody, before breaking it himself. This particular woman, Korala, had been someone that Lumiere partied up with on occasion during the regular version of Sword Art Online, someone who was prevalent in behind-the-scenes dealing when it came to the front lines. Most of the men who died in the same position she fought in, went out without having their names etched into history.

"I see you're not having any difficulty making friends."

The edges of his lips curled up into a small smile, before his crimson hues turned to the female who was on the floor. Obviously, she was new; and in the right place, considering the Town of Beginnings was where all the newbies start up. Dropping his arms from their position, he walked over to her form on the ground and grasped the newbie's hands so that Lumiere could properly pull her up to her feet. The young man wasn't often sprung into such... Interesting scenarios, but he was having some sort of problems with luck, or at least it seemed. Moving back a couple of paces to give Grace some space, he parted his lips to speak once more. Meanwhile, his thumb gestured over to the female who performed a couple of flips in succession.

"This is Korala, she's a higher level player who enjoys showing off to all the new ones."

Pan slices through a Frenzy Boar, it sizzling and popping until the familiar Zelda-like "poof" that made it disappear.

Enemy Defeated! 15 exp gained!

He smiles and dusts off the blade. The game was finally starting to get fun. He was already getting used to the system.

Walking along the path, he was getting close to what his map called "The Purple Forest."

"Going through this forest should get me to the End Dungeon..." He mutters to himself. "Floor 2 here I come!"

As he walked under the branches of the seemingly peaceful forest, he let his mind wander.

"I wonder how many cute girls I see on here are ACTUALLY cute girls? I recall a lot of guys posing as the opposite gender on regular MMOs... It's kind of trippy, as VRMMOs feel so real. It's incredibly hard to believe that the person you're talking to could be a different gender despite their appearence and voice... I guess that's what it's like talking to transgender people as well-"

His thoughts were cut out by a pack of 4 dire wolves, all of them level 3.

"Oh boy, here we go." Pan draws his axe and gets into a fighting stance. One wolf lunges at him, biting his arm.

[-20 hp]

Pan hacks at the wolf clinging on him, slicing it 4 0r 5 times. The wolf drops to the ground.

He swings randomly at the other 3, hitting one in the side of the skull and knocking it into the one next to it. The unharmed one lunges, Pan rolls, yet the other 2 take the oppritunity and attack him while he doesn't expect it. They bite him a couple extra times while he's down.

[-60 hp]

The player pushes the wolves off and hacks them both in the stomach, killing them both. 3 down, 1 to go. He looks at the last enemy. 2 good bites and Pan would be dead.

Pan had to win this. He activated his speed style and dashed at the dire wolf, swiping and hacking until it fell on the ground dead like the others.

Enemies Defeated! 100 exp gained!

400 gold recieved!

Exhausted, Pan now sits down against a tree and takes a potion of healing out of his inventory.

[-1 HP Potion]

[+50 HP]

Makishiru/Koshiro

Makishiru entered Colosseum City with his new friend following along. The center of the city was an arena set deep in the ground. The rest of the city branched upwards in a circle. This created a sort of makeshift colosseum with the different shops and houses. The eastern wall housed the trading, banking, and social sectors. The western wall held more vendors, shops, housing, and the like. Most of these were filled with NPCs because it was a temporary village. You couldn't even buy any of the houses there, because they were set to disappear after a day.

Curious, Makishiru leaned over the edge of the railing to the arena to see what was going on. It just seemed to him like a large PvP battle. There didn't even seem to be any teams. It was just a free-for-all. Yet when there were only three players left standing, a metal gate on the north side of the arena creaked open. Out came a three headed snake with eyes that shot arrowheads. It was a strange monster.

It seemed to be just a friendly competition. There would probably be a large prize at the end. Yet the boss seemed to be a randomly generated user creation. In real life, Koshiro remembered reading something about that. It was part of the new feature that allowed players their own form of creation in the game. Everyone seemed to be having fun, yet it all seemed too perfect. There was something wrong. The boss didn't seem to be attacking aggressively, rather it was shying away. Also, there seemed to be no pattern. Was that an actual player?

"Sakura, do you trust me?"

Sakura walked down the road and bowed to the man that hit her. "It's ok." She said, continuing to walk. She followed Makishiru to the coliseum, watching the people dual out. She was surprised when her companion spoke up. He had asked her if she trusted him. "Of course, I trust you. You have given me no reason not to trust you." She said.

Hatsu had just returned home from her shift as Vet tech, and slowly wandered the kitchen for a bit. Upon seeing some fresh strawberries, she grabbed a few before heading upstairs to her room. Her family had been out running errands but were due to be back soon, so she decided to get started on Advent Online. She hadn't gotten too far before she got too busy to play Alfheim. And, though she loved it, she lost motivation to play it during AP testing since her parents were adamant on her receiving high scores. Bouncing onto her bed and shuffling until she was warm and comfortable, she ate her last strawberry before slipping her Amusphere onto her head. The familiar feeling making her a bit excited to be back in a game and meet new friends. She took her time to make her character as she thought of all wonderful possibilities of adventure in the game. She took a deep breath before finally bursting with excitment yelling, "Link Start!"

Makishiru

Nodding, Makishiru yelled out, "Watch my back!" as he leapt over the arena railing. Performing a 360 degree spin-flip, he landed in front of the boss. He faced the players.

One of them yelled out,
"Oh you have got to be kidding me! Don't you realize that you can't hurt us without signing up for the arena! What are you even doing out here?"

Makishiru stood his ground and continued, "I don't believe you're facing a boss."

Turning to face the three headed snake, he asked,
"Are you a player?"

Slowly, the boss nodded. There was something very wrong about this. Why was the boss scared? More importantly, how had a player gotten caught in the guise of a boss, and who was responsible?

Sakura jumped in after him, landing on her feet. She glared at the others, pulling out her sword. "I suggest that you run." She said, showing her sharp canines. The players ran in fear, shouting something about previous player as they ran away. Relaxing, Sakura faced the boss and stood next to Makishu.

Nisshoku had been sitting in the arena by the wall as everything took place he even saw Makishiru jump over the arena's railing followed by a companion he'd never seen before "well well seems like you've got everything under control here" he walked over slowly applauding like he always did "and I see you've got a new friend care to introduce me" his tone a little darker than usual the wind danced calmly around his scarf as he awaited their response.

    New Player ☆

Grace

There it was. As if by cue, someone was already calling her out about the silliness that just occurred. Grace huffed and glared at the player who said the truthful insult, watching the girl eat some cake before putting it back in their inventory. Then they had stood beside her and started to show her how to flip. Show her? Gasp! The nerve! She knew how to flip perfectly and she didn't need a high level player to demonstrate a basic move like that to her. So, she merely rolled her eyes and didn't pay attention after they did a front flip.

After seeing the final flip from the corner of her eyes, Grace faked a smile and nodded at the female avatar. "
Thanks, I get it now." she said with a slight annoyed tone, looking away. Just then, another voice was heard and she looked up to see another player whom seemed to know the female who was 'helping' her. Clearing her throat, she accepted the offered hands that helped her up to stand and nodded in thanks. When the male player pointed at the other, who was now introduced as Korala, Grace blinked and shifted her dark blue eyes between the both of them.

"
Uh, nice to meet you? I'm Grace," she replied back, twisting her body to look behind her and checked in there was any dirt on her butt or lower back. Giving her sides a final brush, she turned back towards the two and shrugged. "Though, I'm not graceful at doing flips, apparently." a joke and she scoffed. If a high level player was going to show her the basic moves, they had another thing coming; that's for sure.

It didn't stop there, Korala did a rising backflip kick once off on the ground. She then jumped fully this time, and initiated the action sequence, the rising backflip kick brought her even higher in the air before and propelling herself forward. Although because of cooldown reasons, she wouldn't had been able to spam this before falling down. Instead she pulled her weapon out of her inventory in a moment, doing a front flip as she swung the sword around and along with her body in rapid succession. The action sequence caused swirling blades of wind to fly out below her as it sliced through the air. This was just a flashy move that abused game physics, although it did have its uses in certain situations. Distracted, she didn't really pay attention to the noob and new company before she heard her named mentioned.

"Ahaha, guilty." Korala laughed lightly as her weapon disappeared back into her inventory as she landed. She did remember him, somewhat, not exactly 'friends'. Upon hearing that he still refers to her as a she, despite knowing the truth, she gave Lumiere a playful wink causing a small star to appear and fade away. It's not exactly a personal question she would deny, if anyone asked for her 'real' gender, she would simply answer without playing any games. Although, playing games before they ask wasn't out of the question. A mischievous look slithered out as Korala had naughty ideas going through her mind.

She wiped the sleazy grin off of her face before anyone, hopefully, would notice. She kept a composed face again as her eyes looked at the male again, then back at the newbie. "I mean, once you know the action, everything is damn easy. Entire game does everything for you." she shrugged before waving at Lumierre and Grace who had just introduced herself. "So, want me to see another flip?" she joked, although she secretly wanted to, it was fun and the attention received felt quite nice too. Korala gave a defeated chuckle when it seemed they didn't care. Oh well, atleast I didn't fall on my face. She couldn't care less.
