I'm in the same boat with Jericho, My last character was based on lounge singing and I'm afraid I'd be going to close to that again if I use Micheal buble again lol

Those are my preferred genres myself, but lately I've been exploring other genres to see if I can make more unique characters then my normal stuff. And that's how I got into Folk music lol

it varies a lot with mine, sometimes it's a genre, sometimes it's a specific sound of one song, an artist, sometimes it's just a single line in one, etc

haven't come across anything that fits Ace yet though

yup, I also have an issue assigning a song to be like "this is character's song" bc of it's going to be entirely specific to them I want it to be both applicable and also something they themselves would listen to

In all seriousness I use a lot of Video Game music, especially Ace Attorney since a lot of its songs are designed to be character themes (case in point. Ann's theme being Kay Faraday's theme from Ace Attorney Investigations).

Ooooo I love me some Ace Attorney. Video game music can be quite helpful like Persona 5. I can't escaping listening to a song at least 5 times a day lol
