Description stands at six feet exact, has short black hair with Velvet eyes. He has a scar going from his left eyebrow to his hairline causing the hair near the scar to turn white. He has two tattoos on his right Arm. The first being a bloody sun with a spear going through it. And the second of an old Earth religious symbol (cross) that had the names of his fallen brothers and sisters tattooed inside of it.



History: Drake grew up on the industrial planet Avalon. At a young age he would start doing minor jobs and tasks to help keep a roof over his and his mother's head.

Like all youth in Alliance held space he was conscripted into their military at the age of sixteen. He was placed in the 99th Armored Infantry Division Aces Company. He would see combat during the Mulich contract of Expansion. He would participate in the battle of Arcadia losing ninety percent of his company as they held the line

After his mandatory term of service was completed he used what money he saved and bought an out of date rusting T-7 Storm Hawk freighter he named the Flying Aces.

After a few failed ventures realizing just how bad galactic trade and most things were he started to take up smuggling to make even on his ship. He decided to take jobs that were benefitting planets that otherwise would be forgotten or neglected

Species: winged humanoid. Genetic descendant of interbreeding between humans and a winged mammalian race (name pending) that grew into sentience long ago.

Skills: medical training, obviously. Moved rapidly through education and is trained in medical treatment for most major species. Logic; reason; literalism.
Description: working on a picture. Skin is light brown, a blend of Earthen ethnicities contributing to a shade historically found in the Middle East. Black, wavy hair, often haphazardly pulled back with whatever rubber band is closest. Tall-ish, at least for her species. Her wings are a classic trademark of the aforementioned Earthen species--akin to feathered birds--but an unusual mocha brown.
Background what have you been through and how did you end up on the Flying Aces: always an academic nerd. Didn't find a way to socially fit in on planet-based work systems, so decided to work on a ship instead.

Description: Standing at 5'3, Bernie has short curly brown hair with a fading blue streak running through it, often times held back by a headband or bandana. With piercing deep brown eyes, Bernie has various surgery scars trailing from her right shoulder to her mid-back. She also has a detailed tattoo of cogs and gears starting at her back left shoulder and ending at her rib cage.

Background:

Her family will tell you that Bernie has been holding a wrench since she was 2 years old. Engines and motors were all Bernie knew throughout her childhood. In a small sandy town on Avalon, Bernadina's family held the best car garage on their side of town. Bernie was the fifth daughter of 11 children, and with a family like hers you get in where you fit in, and her niche was the garage with her father.
Bernie and her father held a special bond through mechanics and through that grew a passion. Growing up with 8 brothers, going into the military was a piece of cake when it came to the work as most of her crew were young men. Her team became like family and she felt that working on ships was her calling.

Tragedy struck when her crew was working on a faulty ship, one trippy wire and the whole left wing exploded in the holding chamber. Bernadina was told that she was lucky to be alive when she woke up in pain and one less arm, replaced by metal. Burdened by the deaths of her brothers and her pride keeping her from going back home , Bernie pushed through her last years and got dropped off at the farthest station from everything she knew.

Getting jobs every now and then to scrape up whatever she could for a meal Bernie wandered searching for a new home, until she came upon a captain and his ship.

Description: Trinity doesn't look much like a humanoid due to his gentle features given to him from one of his parents. He stands at 6"1, and has long hair (as pictured) that he keeps tied back in some sort of ponytail, braid, or messy bun to reveal his gently pointed ears. His eyes are the color of blue zircon that lighten or darken depending on his mood. Several scars can be found on his body from past excursions including two that run parallel across the bridge of his nose.

Not fond of strangers Trinity is protective of his ragged crew and isn't afraid to defend them when needed. He loves getting into trouble and is always looking for his next adrenaline rush.

Background: There's not much to tell about Trinity's past. His earliest memories are of the orphanage that he grew up at with many other children. Some of the care takers would tell him stories about the day he was dropped off- what his parents looked like., although their answers were always different. He always liked to imagine that his parents were spies or something cool. Now days, he assumes they were probably poor like everyone else and couldn't afford to raise him. The orphanage wasn't a terrible place to live, but it certainly couldn't contain Trinity's troublesome nature. It wasn't long before he was thrown out due to his mischievous behavior.

By the time he was a teenager, he was already running with some rough crowds and had learned to fly his first stolen craft before he was sixteen. He has been chasing the need to fly ever since. From racing, to stealing spacecrafts, brawling, or running from planetary officials, Trinity will always find his way into the middle of the action.

Background: Aelyx was born on the human world of Arcadia his father is a former Grand Admiral in the Alliance navy who retired only recently. From a young age he was around the Alliance military personnel and lifestyle. Moving from ship to ship every so often as another replaced one. He had always been good with computers; as he grew older, technology seemed to come naturally to him. Much to his mother's displeasure, though, that interest only seemed to continue to grow as he got older. When he came of age he enlisted with the Alliance Navy special forces that gathered intelligence on the ground and conducted raiding operations against criminal groups.

Over the next seven years, he saw how the laws were doing more harm than good; going on several operations, he shut down several smuggler operations during his time in the Alliance Navy. Upon his leaving the service, he started to assist smugglers using his contacts in the Navy to warn others of impending raids. The lack of resources on worlds he visited had made him change his mind about his alliance and what he was originally fighting for.

Eventually, his luck had run out, and attention was being drawn to himself, forcing him to look for a place to escape society's prying eyes. On one of his stops, he ran across the crew of the Flying Aces which he offered to use his skills and combat experience for the crew providing the captain agreed to the his proposal to join. He is by far one of the newest members of the crew.

Description: Standing at 5'9", Julian is a rather slim woman with a large presence thanks to her height and confidence. She has long blonde hair that is typically pulled back into a braid or low ponytail. She has hazel eyes and pale skin. She likes to keep her appearance well groomed and clean, since the way she presents herself to others is important to her. There is a light scar on her right arm from a nasty fall she took as a child.
Background: Julian comes from a more privileged background than most, being the daughter of a decently well off and respected merchant. Growing up, she was raised to learn business- the art of negotiation, networking, all the necessary components to create successful transactions. Still, she felt bored within the relative safety of her own little world, where she simply had everything she needed. She craved adventure, so she had decided to go out and find some. After so many years in the business world, she became more and more aware of more back-alley business, the kind that involved smugglers. She eventually made the discovery that on top of his usual perfectly legal wares, her father also conducted some less than legal business mostly to planets with less access to resources than others. One day, about four years ago, she got her father to entrust her with the task of finding transportation for some illicit medication and that's when she met the captain. She gave him a good deal for the job and persuaded him into allowing her to join in on the ship to help conduct business. Once onboard, she kept getting the crew jobs with various people who had use for the smugglers. Her charisma, connections, and headstrong nature that doesn't leave many people room to say no to her proved to be useful, so she stuck around as the crew's ambassador- striking up deals wherever she goes.​
