As his parents were busy with their jobs, he was expected to help care for his siblings and entertain them. Due to his family's wealth, he received a great education from a young age. When his gift of light manipulation began to manifest, it was not a surprise. His family had actually had a history of possessing unique abilities. This gift is what sent him in the direction of the Academy of Mystics.
