Erebus raises an eyebrow and he makes a 'Tch' sound "And I expected you to be more polite, hydra." He says before creating black fire in his hands. "I'll ask you again, fallen. Step aside." He warns Kai.


Orpheus whispers back to Cordelia "He's Erebus. You should get out of here. It's dangerous here." He says, looking a Cordelia with a worried expression since he was weakened by the last battle and will most likely fail to protect her if things got bad. @MorticiansDaughter @Daimao

[The Darkling]

Cordelia watched as the man summoned fire in his hands. She clenched one hand and looked on, she wasnt going to just run off and leave everyone here. She was not a coward and if things got bad they could use the help even if she wasnt powerful.

"No..im fine. Im going to stay here and help if things get worse then im sure they already are"

She looked at Kai and grabbed his shirt tugging gently.

"Kai..please. We might be able to figure something out before fighting becomes a resort."

She looked once more Erebus and hissed quietly. Running her tongue along her fangs in her mouth she took deep breathes to calm herself down. Coiling her tail around herself helped steady her balance more and was a protective stance she got in when she felt threatened.​

 

[Gohan510]

Orpheus, Cordelia, and Videl noticed that Kai's seemed different as if he got stronger from the last fight. " That's a challenge then? I never back down when it comes to my friends I'll kick your butt either way. Friends are always my number one priority." He says with a smirk on his face as fire in golfs his hand. Kai looks back at the three as he smiles at them, then he looks back at Erebus. " You and me right here right now!" Kai says with excitement in his voice. " I'm sorry but this isn't the time to just think about the other possibilities trust me I hear what your saying but I won't give him the chance to hurt you guys!"

 

[Verdas]

Erebus sighs and mutters "What a waste of time. I have to deal with a defiant rat now." He disappears and reappears in front of Kai, from his own shadow and knees him in the stomach before becoming a shadow and becoming solid where he previously stood. @MorticiansDaughter

 

[Daimao]

Crux grinned. "Being polite and friendly issssss Crux'ssss job. Unlike the little one, I don't like pleasssssantriessss," he hissed. Suddenly, Crux's eyes returned to their crimson color. Crux looked at Erebus curiously.


"You look funny," he said simply, before walking back to Cordelia. "What did I miss?"

Kai spit up saliva as he grabbed his gut trying to catch his breathe. " I-I'm not done yet!" Kai's aura surrounds himself as he dashes at Erebus, full speed as he uses darkness to make him faster. He flash steps behind Erebus as he uses a fireball to make an explosion between them both. Creating a dust cloud from such an explosion Kai uses this chance to transform into his Fallen Angel form. As the dust blows away from his transformation Kai seems even more determined to protect his friends.

 

[Verdas]

Orpheus took out a knife and cut himself and grabbed Cordelia's right arm, drawing something on the back of her hand with his blood. "You're weak, weaker than anyone here, so you need to get stronger." He says in a sad voice. "If I ever die... All my power will go to you through this mark, though I won't die here." He smirks then.

 

[Gohan510]

" Now then the battle truly begins!" Kai says looking at Erebus as he dashes flash stepping as he heads toward Erebus. His black aura surrounds him again as he moves faster. " AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" Kai yells out as he ready to punch Erebus.

 

[Verdas]

Erebus guards himself with solidified shadows, using it as a wall before returning them to their original flatness and kicks Kai in the same spot he hit before and frowns. "That fireball was quite strong despite your current, weakened state. Your stubbornness is one of a kind, rat." He looks at the shadow, he used to defend himself, it was damaged pretty badly, though that was only visible to his eyes. @MorticiansDaughter

Cordelia released Kai with a gasp and leaned away as he suddenly got kneed. This was happening to son after his previous fight and if he wasnt careful he was going to get himself killed. She shook her head and looked at Crux.

"Not much Crux..not much.."

She held her pouch tightly and watched as they fought. She was prepared for the worst but kept herself ready if she needed to step in. She only felt more freaked out when Orpheus cut himself.

"Wait what are you doi-.."

She was silenced when he put the blood on her arm, its symbol unfamiliar to her. But the smell of blood she knew well. She hissed and pursed her lips looking away from her arm and to Orpheus.

"I dont see why its necessary. I can fight...I simply have no powers that can give me an upper hand thats all."

She watched the fight go on, her eyes flicking back and forth as punches were thrown and as they moved around.

"I dont see why I dont have powers..I can simply transform thats all. If I need to step in..I will. And thats that.."​

Kai struggles to stand as he black aura grows more as he looks up at Erebus with his hair covering his left eye and blood drips from his lip. " You call me a right... But your the real rat!! You stand there and act like your almighty but t-today I won't lose to you! My older brother always told me how I would never have friends and no one would ever care... Well he's wrong! I have everyone I need here... With them here they give me the will to fight." He says standing straight as his hair moves out the way of his left eye, and he wipes the blood. " You pack quite a punch but how long will you last is the real question?" He says with a smirk on his face.

 

[Verdas]

Erebus smirked even more when he saw how persistent Kai was and had an idea. He ran like the wind to Kai's 'friends' while he was away from them and took out two swords, both nearly identical, and decided to give Kai's friends a tickle with them, just to see the pained expression on his face. (I'm guessing Kai isn't using the large fireball cause he's injured?)

Kai was to slow to react as he watches all this happen, his eyes open wide as he stands there in shock of what's happening. " No Don't!!!!" He yelled out as he's unable to move from his shocked reaction of not being fast enough. 'Why are you just standing here Kai your friends need you! They'll died if you don't move... You have to let it all out your anger your sadness. YOUR DISPARE!!!" Iak yells out loud in Kai's head. ' This is what it feels to see my friends hurt I-I don't know what to do....' He says with his leg shaking.


(And yeah he his welp lets unlock Kai's True angel form 8'D)

Crux smiled, spinning around as Kai and Erebus fought. Suddenly, he stopped spinning and his eyes once again turned blue. "First of all, Miss Cordelia, I would like to inform thee of how pleased I am that thou hath befriended young Crux," he rumbled. "In repayment for thy kindness, I, Alpharius, shall gladly grant one of thy wishes, as long as it remains within my power." Alpharius then looked at Erebus, wisps of noxious gas seeping from his mouth. "Be my guest."

(*cries* I know..im the spooky one over here)

Cordelia gasped and grabbed Orpheus pulling him close and moving him out of the way from the swords. He was to weak to fight and she needed to do something. She used her tail and wrapped some around her and Orpheus and used the rest to make a block form the swords.

"Back off!"

She hissed and sneered, flashing her fangs. Poison dripped from them and in heavy doses was just as lethal.​

 

[Verdas]

Orpheus drags Cordelia behind him to protect her and takes out the knife he used to cut himself as a means to fight back against the now dual-wielding Erebus.


Videl takes out her sword, now convinced that they may have to fight for themselves now that Kai is one the ground and seemingly unable to move and rush to their help. Her surroundings become hot.


(Can't wait for fallen angel 2.0.)

' FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!! LET IT ALL OUT LET YOUR RAGE THE SADNESS THE DARKNESS LET IT ALL OUT LET HIM SEE WHO YOU TRULY ARE LET THEM ALL SEE YOUR POWER!!! YOU HAVE POWER THEN PROBABLY ANYONE HERE SHOW THEM WHAT YOU GOT!!! AND I WILL BE HERE THE FULL WAY. Remember when your parents died, remember seeing your brother's plane on the news go missing, remember when Toru died!!!!!!! REMEMBER YOU ARE KAI HATRED FULLBRING!!!!' Iak tells Kai all these things making Kai want to let it all out as his chest begins to fade slowly a circle appeared on his chest. Kai held his head in pain as he screams, in pain as a green sphere filled with aura surrounds Kai. His screams can't be heard in such a sphere as he is trapped there, with no way out or in. ' I do want to protect my friends and if the only way I can do it is by joining you then I will!' Kai says talking to Iak. ' Let it FREEEEEEEEEEE HAHAHAHA I will guide you threw this!!!!' Iak says with a smirk on his face. The sphere burst as magic spills out and something stands in place of Kai. Wind blows roughly as the sphere broke and the being standing in Kai's place has an emotionless facial expression as it stands there it's tail slams on the ground.

Shadows appeared from the ground and surrounded Cordelia as Erebus came, trying to keep her still for him to kill before dealing with Orpheus and Crux. "You'll regret hissing at me like that soon enough, snake." He mocked Cordelia as he charged, ignoring what was happening to Kai, believing that he became insane.

xD We will all be frozen now)

Cordelia could feel herself become frozen and it made her feel strange..being un able to move any muscle in you body. When she looked around she could see the sphere. She took a deep breathe and watched as Erebus came at her.

"I regret nothing you pestilent fool.."

She glared and looked behind him at Kai and at the state he was now in. She worried that what was happening to him was the fault of Erebus. She just wanted everyone to be ok, hopefully those who didnt want to fight could escape while he was distracted. Of course she felt the fear but she ignored it. Instead she focused on how slow time seemed to go by watching him lunge at her.​

Quick as lightning, Alpharius grabbed Erebus's face, effortlessly tossing him back at Kai. "We are trying to have a conversation here, fool," he growled.

The students step back in fear when they see whats standing in Kai's place they see that there are souls flying around it's body as it stood there. It said not a word as it stood there looking at the others and whats happening. While that happens Kai is laying in a empty black abyss as there's nothing but pitch black in the world. Kai lays there with his eyes closed as the black river carries him down the stream, he thinks and wonders if he chose the wrong path this time and what would happen if he didn't choose to do this. He came to the conclusion again that he was dead, but then he opened his eyes to see a light a bright light shined as he can see what the creature in the real world was seeing. He could see what was going on but his body was to weak to move for him to do anything. He looks at it with a dull facial expression as if he didn't care, but he did and he couldn't show it because his body was still and un able to move.

 

[Diavolo]

Groaning hinges squeal open as a closet apparently hidden in a wall creaks open. From the interior Old Man Henderson stumbles out.


"What happens in Vegas stays in vegas." He says, pushing off with his heelys into the corridor. Witnessing the Battle currently growing between two students he pulls a bottle of whiskey and a pair of sunglasses from his bag.


"Well, this is gonna Be good. GO FOR THE NUTS!" He shouts at the combatants.

"You should be proud to have your name in academic papers, Ms. Lizzy!" the nature spirit cheerfully compliments the elf. "You have just helped uncover some of the mystery behind Atlantis's civilization, and that means a lot to spirits and the Awakened alike!" he cheerfully elucidates.


"Even if your information is scant, every little bit means a lot, and I must thank you on behalf of those scholars of the occult," performing a small aerial loop and a graceful bow.


"If you have any other stories to share of your travels, I would love to hear of them, Ms. Lizy!" Fan's smile is of genuine, good cheer.

"You must be a very talented swordswoman, Ms. Softwer," complimenting the "wolf-shifter" with a bit of awe in his telepathic tone.


"It is a great honor to be the lead defender of a town; although f-fighting is not my calling," he admits with a bit of a fearful tone, as though he had an aversion to violence, "my parents have told me stories of how they lent aid to many valiant warrior-heroes who improved the world by protecting others from malevolent creatures. That is one great way to help improve peoples' lives, and I have great respect for it," Fan tells with candor and a softly glowing ethereal orb.

"A-ah... g-g-g-good evening, Ms. Bilious," the merboy telepathically greets the kitsune, a small blush on his cheeks, elfin ears anxiously twitching, piscean tail swaying in a jerky, staccato motion.


The half-centimeter-wide, ethereal sphere orbiting the nature spirit begins to oscillate and revolve at a frenetic pace, glowing and dimming in prismatic colors like a strobe light.


"My name is Fan, and I-I-I am a nature spirit of... of... of water, space, and ti~me," the piscean child stutters and drawls out. He attempts to perform another airborne loop and an adroit bow, but it comes off sluggish, as though he was in a daze. "It is nice to... have you as our English teacher, Ms. B-Bilious..."


The merboy's eyes are glazed over and fixed on the kitsune, and his jaw is slightly slack, as though mesmerized. "It is... very pleasing to be around another person who... who is so attuned to spa~ce and ti~me, Ms. Bilious..."


The blush on Fan's cheeks deepens a bit; the foxlady might be able to intuit that it is not so much romantic infatuation as it is a nature spirit finding themselves enthralled by being in the presence of another powerful manipulator of space and time.


"What... what sort of English things will we be learning about... to~day, Ms. Bilious?" the piscean child psychically inquires in a sedate, practically hypnotized cadence.
