Is their a primer on 2e that deals with combat cause that’s the most daunting thing
I am sure that there is a wiki article out there somewhere that can give you a cheat-sheet for 2e combat, but I don't know where that would be at. I can say that I would be willing to walk you through the steps of combat if you are willing to give it a go. I understand if you don't want to try and wrap your head around the game crunch of 2e, though.

Psychie Psychie I believe that the Charm changes I had in mind for Voice are all done. Added a Resistance Charm to heal faster and a couple of Athletics ones to move about the field faster.

Since everyone is going for Essence 4, I will say that Essence increases will be assigned by me later on in the game as a milestone advancement, so you can use your xp for other stuff.

That works for me. I have a list building up in my mind that I want and not having to save up for E5 will make that easier.

Assuming that there are no complications with the characters, I hope to be able to start the IC thread up on Monday.

All the stats are done now, I need to solidify the backstory, choose a motivation and main virtue? That's a thing you choose, right? It will probably be compassion.

I reduced Followers back down to 2, to be just the monks. That point I moved over to Manse, and gave it a Soul Prison as well as a Fortress, so it starts of with some low-skilled ghosts in it and anyone that dies there becomes a ghost under the command of the Apostle. Also made it an Archive, a Temple as well as a Comfort Zone (It's hot in the South!).

I bought in one less Virtue (reducing Courage to 2), then bumped Liege up to 4, then used my Liege backgrounds for both my artifacts.

This freed up 3 BP that I used to buy the Charm 'Elegy to the Fallen', allowing me to summon ghosts. It means I lost the 5 ghost-followers I had previously from Liege, but between the Charm and the Manse, getting ghosts won't really be a problem.

Sounds reasonable. At this point I have no objections.

I should have my character done today provided I get time to work on her. ;-)

The more I think about Voice, the mote I see her as being totally bat shit crazy, and I plan on upping her Whispers rating as she sinks further into madness. This is going to be so fun.

Her Whispers is at a three now; you could slide some points around and increase it easily enough right now.

You have some time before game start. Then you'll be locked in on your build and can only change it with xp.

No offense, and I am not leaving the game or anything, but the 2nd edition ruleset is a complete mess. Rules are all over creation and no organized in any meaningful way. I was trying to figure out what Inrimacies were and they are all over the place.
