Evie hesitantly pulled the blankets down. She took a deep breath before closing the gap between them with a slight touch of her shoulder. Her right hand grasped his hand. "It's embarrassing..." She squeezed Al's hand. "I was jealous of Aki, and Alex too. We'd just finally got on the same page when the whole thing with Matt went down. When it came to Alex, at the hospital, I couldn't do anything for you. She was with you the whole time. All I could do was watch. And though I know Alex liked Matt I couldn't help but think, with you both finding comfort in each other there wasn't room for me. Then Matt is now-- well I guess-- Matt is back and with Alex. And I'm sick and even after you so kindly offered to help me, your attention was easily taken by Aki. I couldn't help but wonder what other girls you entangle you concerns with when I'm not around. I know I'm probably bothering you with these thoughts and I'm sorry but I hate the idea of someone taking you away..." With her other hand she pulled at the collar of the over-sized shirt she was wearing to let some cool air in.

Melanie was still in the exact same position she was in when Aki had fallen asleep. The movie's ending drew near, and Priest Vampire hunter rode a massive bald eagle into the sunset with two blonde women hanging on each arm. As the credits began, Melanie glanced down at Aki.


Seems the other neko was slowly awakening, "I didn't want to wake you up." Melanie muttered

 

[Hibiscus]

Al was slightly shocked, it was one thing for her to be sick, but for her to be jealous was mind blowing. He looked down at their intertwining hands and he sighed, knowing his mistake, "Evie you did more for me then Alex ever could. She was.. well distraught, and acting unpredictable, but she never asked for me or my feelings. But you, you waited with the first time, layed with me in between, and even came back there with me." He looked at her, "Alex has Matt, and you have me. So I may care for everyone in the house, you are special to me, and I'll never put another person in front of you. I'm at your beck and whim, everyday for as long as you will have me.".

 

[Kairyn]

"Mmm. ." Aki mumbled. Aki stretched her arms once she awoken. "It's okay." Aki responded, she rubbed her eyes then sat crossed legged on the couch, watching the Priest Vampire hunter rode a massive bald eagle into the sunset with two blonde women hanging on each arm.

Evie smiled, her insecurities washing away with each pass word from Al. Was she in the future going to possibly relive this jealous feeling? Sure she would, but she won't have to worry again if Al likes her as long as her feeling never change. Still holding Al's hand she raised to her knees and kissed one of his ears. His furr felt soft (being sick or not) and warm against her lips and Evie could smell Al's scent.

 

[Kairyn]

Aki took the remote and changed the channel before the credits rolled by. She switched to the news, listening in about a person blabbering about banning soda in the states. Aki took her side just because she hates soda. It made her mouth burn and tingly. Sometimes it made her sneeze.

"That's the news for the hour." The woman announced, then it switched to commercials.

One commercial had a kid asking where do babies come from. It was advertising Birth Control.

The next commercial after that was about insurance.

Aki yawned boringly, wanting to go back to sleep.​

 

[Hibiscus]

He smiled back at her, loving her new found stability within the relationship. When she lifted up to kiss his ear he didn't move, for he trusted the bunny. He began blushing, it tickled, but it was warm, and very comforting. His ears perked immediately and his tail was hard to control, he looked at her, not knowing if he should return the favor.

 

[Kairyn]

Instead, Aki rolled onto her back. She opened her mouth, sticking the tongue out. She panted meanwhile. After a few rounds of commercials, it flashed to a cartoon intro.

Aki watched a kids show upside down. She closed her mouth as the human and the dog spoke to each other. It was appealing to Aki for some what reason, probably the plot. Aki took her right hand and petted herself, Huh. She stopped, might making it look weird to other people. 

Aki got up, feeling light-headed after being upside down from a long period of time. Al hasn't had a drink of water for a long time. Might as well give one to him. Aki thought, she went to the kitchen, pulling out a glass cup and filling it with purified water to the brim. Aki slowly went upstairs, the water spilling on her shirt and dripping down the pants. Stupid! Why'd you fill it so high?! Aki scolded herself, the cup 3/4 full. She went to the wooden door with Allon engraved on it. Aki knocked the door, hoping he would answer.

Why'd you knock now? Aki scolded herself once again, knowing that they are having a session together. She hoped that she did not interrupt them.​

 

[Hibiscus]

Allon's ear tilted towards the door, "Come on in.". He was in the middle of an engagement, but I'm sure he could wait, for he had forever with Evie.

 

[Kairyn]

"Mmk." Aki went in, her clothes soaked wet. She put the glass of water on the dresser. "Just came to get you some water." Aki rubbed the back of her neck.

She wring her shirt, some water droplets falling down. Aki went to the door opening it, planning to go back out to watch her daily cartoons.​

 
"Uh, Sorry for interrupting in whatever you were doing." Aki apologized, finding this quite awkward.

 

[Hibiscus]

"It's fine Aki, we were just talking." He saw her, acting very strange, almost lost on what to do. "Still not over Matt huh?" This was supposed to be in his head, but he blurted it out, immediately covering his mouth.

 

[Kairyn]

"Yeah.." Aki admitted, shifted near the door frame. Aki really wanted to flee. Flee away from the reality, the pain, and anger. Aki's chest tightened, glancing at Al with pain in her eyes.

 

[Sugar and Spice]

Evie's head spun a little less now as she took a drink of water. She looked up at Aki, "I know this might be a little awkward right now, but I'm sorry for my behavior in the kitchen." Evie was quite surprised that Aki liked Matt that way. She kind of felt bad holding hands in front of her and reluctantly let go of Al's hand.

Allon sighed when she let go of his hand, "Why don't you confront him already? If he doesn't know you are an option then let him know.".

 

[Kairyn]

"I don't have the guts to do it." Aki was honest in this situation.

 

[Hibiscus]

Allon sighed, again his advice was flustered with frustration over the whole ordeal. He looked back to Evie, "Today was my lazy day, but I wouldn't mind making a certain sick bunny some soup.". He got up, waiting for her answer.

 

[Kairyn]

"Unless uh.." Aki rubbed the back of her neck, her face was tinted red. "You set Matt and I up.."

 

[Hibiscus]

He looked onto Aki, "Aki as much as I am for you figuring yourself out, I'm not going to break them up.". This would of course tear her apart, so he had a compromise, "But I will take Matt out, then you can meet us there, and I'll leave you two alone. I won't set the two of you up though, it's against my nature.".

 

[Kairyn]

"Seems fine enough." Aki says, I want the best for Matt. . Alex seems to treat Matt like a teddy bear. Just to cuddle with.

 

[Sugar and Spice]

"Ah Al, you don't have to go out of your way to make me food. I feel a lot better now..." She squeezed the blankets ".. But if you do make sure there are no carrots." she added hoping she wasn't being a bother or hinder to Al's and Aki's conversation.

 

[Kairyn]

"From what I heard.. You said there was no soup. No one came out of the house to buy some." Aki's tail raised up a bit. Was he lying to me? I asked him for soup last time. .

 

[Hibiscus]

"Ahhh that's right," He looked at the two girls, "Everyone wanted soup today, which means I'm going to the store.". He thought about asking one of the girls to go, mostly Evie he wanted time with her, but also Aki for she didn't need to be alone.

 

[Kairyn]

"I want a specific soup." Aki stated, emphasizing on specific.

 

[Sugar and Spice]

" I have some cash in my purse if you need some." Evie grabbed her purse and proceeded to look for her wallet. "It wouldn't be right to make you pay for something I'm going to be eating." She found her wallet and turned to Aki. " I don't mind going with your soup, I probably won't eat much anyways." a small smile crossed her face.

 

[Hibiscus]

"Mhmm, I probably won't be able to find it so go get ready." Allon gave a wink to the girl, then looked to Evie. "So no carrots, anything else princess?". He saw her get the wallet, "Your not going to pay for anything sweetheart.".
