Fantasy Abandoned Nekos

Allon approached behind the panda neko, watching as Melanie kissed a stranger, "Uhm, Melanie who's your friend?". This was a shocker, even for someone as secretive as Melanie.

Melanie was taken aback at first for the forwardness of this random person off the street, but ignored it once the yelling from inside registered. So she stated "Melanie." before untangling herself from the panda and calling back behind her.

"I don't know this person Al," Then she shouted behind him "and could you guys save the emotional drama for later? We've got a guest and I don't want them getting the wrong impression about us."

Matt stared awkwardly at the two, especially after Alex's outburst. He backed up away from the two, headache growing much worse that it blocked out some of his vision. Deciding it would just be best, Matt heard Melanie shout and used the opportunity to slowly slink away from them guiltily, he stalked up to his room to hide away once more, wondering how it had come to this point and became chaos.

"A new person eh?" The shouting was echoing through the house, and Allon got worried of what the new panda would think. He scooted past the two and approached the girls, watching Matt escape. Not saying a word for he knew this would come to it, but mostly because it wasn't his place.

"Thanks Melanie." Hayden winked. With the approach of Al Hayden just threw up a peace sign. "What's up dude." before continuing in to the house to see two girl fighting and a guy in the middle. "tsk tsk tsk girls."

Alex glared at everyone, despite her silent crying. She shook her head at Aki and shoved her back before storming upstairs. She went straight up to her room, slamming the door behind her, and went to the window, not bothering to lock the door. She opened the window nervously and sat on the edge, looking down at the sidewalk below.

Aki gave Allon a pained and anxious look. All I wanted some soup. Her eyes were teary, mouthing the words: What have I done?

Hayden dropped her bags before running over to help the girl who was shoved (Aki) "Are you okay rose bud?" Hayden traced her (Aki's) face with her fingers.

Allon looked at her and gave a shake of his head, knowing it was his fault too. He gave her a half smile before walking into the kitchen, there was soup to be made anyways.

Melanie walked past the others staring up the stairs as the footsteps receded. Sighing, she turned back to Aki.

"Want to talk about it?"

Aki mouthed the word: Uh.. Yeah. There was a anxious and a confused look on her face.
"Yeah. ." Her voice slighty revived, turning to Melanie.

Melanie glanced at the panda neko warily before helping Aki up "Now, we could go about this one of two ways." she said as she helped steady her "We can chat and see if we can forget all the bad things long enough for you to recover.....or..... we could see a professional."

"That's. A relief." Hayden smiled as Melanie pulled the girl from her arms. "My name is Hayden, please have a good chat." She returned to her luggage.

"Your choice unless it doesn't include illogical insane scenarios."
"But. . Can I see Matt first? Or he should have time alone..." Aki slowly relapsed to her mute self.

"Okay," Melanie said before giving a defeated sigh and walking over to the door on the side of the stairs and pulling it open, the gloom and dark stairs to the basement lay morbid as always "Down here."

She gestured for Aki to follow, then descended inside

Alex grabbed a piece of paper and a pen before taking a deep breath and writing.

No this is not a suicidal note. What's the point in me staying here? It's been made all too clear that I'm the most hated person here, so why stay somewhere I'm not wanted? Aki, I'm sorry you don't like me, but that's not changing how I feel. I love Matt and I know that's tough fir you to understand but that's not changing. I'll be gone in the morning.

~Alex
She taped it to the outside of her door and started tearing up as she started packing her clothes.

Hayden set down her luggage before walking into the kitchen. "I wasn't expecting much here but hope its not like this all the time." Hayden sat down dejectedly. "So is that all the girls in the house?" She gestured her words at the guy making soup.

Aki gave a tiny farewell goodbye to the new panda neko, slightly bothered. Whats this place? Aki trailed behind Melanie.

Italics ≈ mouthing words

OOC - Didn't Aki left the house last time?

Melanie placed a finger to her lips before replying Basement.

They reached the bottom of the stairs, which had several piles of junk on one end and a bunch of disassembled appliances lying everywhere.

Melanie's eyes scanned the room, then rested on an old lamp that seemed to be aged to the point of dysfunction. But what Melanie was looking for was the cord, which was still swaying side to side... as if it had recently been pulled.

"Taka?" she called out as she stepped deeper into the large room "I know you're here. It's me, Melanie, I need some assistance."

As she called for him, a bundle of clothes shifted in one pile of clutter. Slowly, a small figure sat up while shaking the dust from his hair and silently yawning.

Melanie immediately spotted him, "Ah there you are," she glanced at Aki "Aki, this is Taka... Taka, this is Aki."

The moment he heard another name he immediately glanced to the third occupant of the room, slowly registering what Melanie had said.

Taka slowly turned his head to frown at Melanie.

"Listen, pleasantries aside... my friend needs help with some problems she's been having concerning" she had to sigh a bit "...romance."

Taka's palm met his face, the only reason he ever needs to deal with new people. Letting out a brief scowl, Taka began setting up a matress and a chair.

"Okay, Taka is really smart" Melanie said to Aki "But he can't speak, so try to get comfortable."

Taka acquired his notebook and pen before getting in his chair and gesturing towards Melanie, she walked over and spoke with him.

It mainly consisted of her saying things and then reading the notes he gave her as his part of the conversation.

Finally, she walked back to Aki "He knows what he's doing. I come here to talk almost every week, plus he's free so it's an added bonus. I'll be upstairs if you need me."

Melanie took her leave as Taka gestured for Aki to have a seat.

Melanie herself had returned to her sofa, where she began searching through channels again. Only this time she had an underlying tone of sadness with it.

Aki shifted to the right listening to Melanie. Wow, you have cool friends. once Melanie left, Aki was left alone by a smart, as Melanie said, stranger. Aki looked at Taka, who was gesturing for her to take a seat. Aki slightly reluctantly sat down on the matress, cocking her head.

"Ah, well there is two more. One named Ari and another named Evie." He wiped off his hands before turning to face her, "I'm Allon, but most people call me Al. Small introduction, well, I'm like the house dad. Pleasure to meet you Hayden." He extended his hand to her, smile following.

Taka gave a sigh before writing the first of what he worried would be a plethora of notes.

Tell me, do you have any negative feelings for any of your housemates?
