His eyes felt heavier today for some reason. He saw the sun seep in through his eyelids and he tried to move his head, with no avail. “Whats going on..” He thought, the numbness in his hands and feet beginning to wear off. After a few seconds he was able to move his limbs, and finally, open his eyes. As he looked around everything seemed out of place, So different then the place he was when he remembered laying down to rest his head. Everything was greener, Fuller, more beautiful than before. As he tried to stand up his body ached and he yelped out in pain. It seemed like he had been laying there for a long time. He looked down at his clothes, Vines had grown up his legs and chest, Moss growing out of the seams of the shirt. “how...?” he questioned ripping at the vines and smoothing out his clothes with the palm of his hand.
After checking is everything was in place, he jumped up into the tallest tree, his nails sinking into the bar as he climbed. It felt like he hadn’t done this in years. He wondered what year it was. In-fact, he wondered WHERE the hell he was. As he reached the top he could feel the wind stinging his face. Everything was beautiful. The trees were the greenest he had ever seen them. Everything looked much fuller than what he remembered before he fell asleep. He pulled out the katana from his waist and swung it a few times, just to make sure he hadn't lost his agility. For his sake, it was still incredible. At this point he couldn’t help but stare out into the green open, he didn’t know what to do, where to go or even who to talk to. Seemed like he was alone. He sighed sitting atop the tree just staring, contemplating his next move.
