Amoux noticed Asher, the wolf which Shadow had saved him from, staring at him. He tried to avoid his gaze.
 
Asher stepped closer, lowering his head he started growling, showing his fangs. "How do I know I can trust you?" He asked, snapping at Amoux.
 
Amoux stood firm and gave Asher a hard and steady look. "Are you expecting me to be untrustworthy?" He said. He walked out of the sentinels embrace so they stood face to face.

"possibly, you are infatuated with a member of my pack, an individual whom I think of as a daughter" Asher leaning in close to get a better look at his eyes "would you die for her?" He asked quietly.


Shadow sat down getting tired of standing. "This is getting good dont you think?"
 
Amoux nodded. His expression still firm and eyes certain. "Without a moment of doubt." He said. He then looked at Linara and smiled.

The moment his attention turned Asher jumped on him pinning Amoux to the ground by the scruff of his neck. Growling he held him there.


Shadow moved close to Rareck whimpering, hiding her face.
 
The sentinels wanted to push Asher off but Rareck showed them to stay put and held Linara back
 

Schatten, having been awake for almost the whole night, had finally fallen asleep.

the red of the eyed were a prominent color in his.

he simply dosed off.​
 
Amoux curled his lips back. He licked Asher in the stomac with his hind legs and escaped his grib. He stood on all four paws, shook his pelt and stood a few feet away from Asher.
 



Astrien turned her head, looking at him. A small smile was on her lips as she gently nudged him.

"Wake up sleepy head."

"Sleep walking." He mumbled, rolling onto his stomach like a slow zombie.


his eyes were half open as he didn't have the energy.
 



Astrien chuckled. She yawned, rolling back onto her stomach.

"Didn't sleep well?"

She asked, looking at him. He looked very tired.

He shook his head, having not slept at all. He remembered the night, he knew why he didn't sleep.


he rolled again, falling to his side, almost cuddling with Astrien .
 



Astrien smiled, setting her head on his flank gently.

"So sleep then."

She said quietly, glancing arond with her head still. She didn't want to move.

Asher sat down wagging his tail and laughing. Looking to Linara " he's all yours Linara, I have to talk to Rareck....why don't you two take her with you" the last part sounding grim.
 
Linara nodded at Asher, running to Amoux while Rareck held his sitting position at the den entrance
 
"Rareck....Rareck...Rareck...I'll make this short, she can be your mate, but if anything happens to her pups or her, I'm going to tear you apart personally, but as you know I'm getting old and a new leader will have to be chosen or...another male will have to challenge me, so be smart and protect her" Asher warned as he got into his face. Shadow appearing to be up against Rareck out of fear was keeping herself in front of his throat to protect him. "Please care for her just as diligently as you have patrolled our territory and kept it safe"
 
It grew silent, only the noise of the forest was heard.


"Do you have a mate?" He asked suddenly, in a intelligible mumble. His ears twitched as he asked.
 
Rareck looked Asher straight in the eyes "You need not worry Asher , Shadow , her pups and this territory will stay safe as long as i live and lead the outer sentinels" he said laying his head down on Shadow's head " She will be just fine" he said looking at Asher again.


Linara ran up to Amoux , putting her head under his head " Are you ok Amoux " she said licking his face @Anne Lind
 

He hesitated slightly, the eyes opening as he was given energy to speak again.

"Would you like to be mine?" Schatten asked. He wasn't used to asking other wolves to be mates or had any experience, but he hoped this was how you asked. He lowered his head and the ears dropped down , knowing the inevitable answer would probably be 'no'. He prepared for it , as to cause less heart break.​
 



Astrien chuckled, smiling as she scootched closer to him. She lowered her head, trying to find his eyes.

"Yeah."

She said quietly. Astrien gave up on finding his eyes, instead, she snuggled up closer to him. She placed her head against his neck, right under his head. Astrien smiled a bit more, her ears flopping down against her head.
