Lethal Insight - Thinker 4, Striker 1-11

Lethal Insight - primary effect

The host can cycle between five vision modes, not including their own natural eyesight, at will. Using these vision modes does not accrue a thinker headache. The possible vision modes to pick from are:

(a) A bird's view from around eight meters above the host, unobstructed by physical barriers as roofs and obstructions will become transparent, with a FOV of roughly 145 degrees; slightly bigger than a natural human eye. Everything else appears unchanged.
(b) A vision mode where everything appears to be black. Every sound generates a wave at its source, which moves outward at the speed of sound, visible as blurry white lines. As the white waves pass by items, they mark their outlines with sharp white lines, which disappear several seconds later. This has no range limit and therefore can be used to see through walls. When using this vision mode, all sound the host hears is blurry and distant, as if they were underwater.
(c) This vision mode makes the host see everything as a glass-like green color. When something, such as a human, moves, they are followed by a red silhouette that shows their past movements in five separate images that showed where they were five seconds ago (one image per second), and it also shows five blue silhouettes that show their future movement up to five seconds into the future (one image per second.)
(d) This vision mode forms a biological radar. Everything becomes very dark gray and it's almost impossible to see anything, as sources of light don't produce any visibility. Instead, the host can select one of four biological targets that they will be able to see through walls, these being: arteries and heart, internal organs, skeleton, and muscles.
(e) This vision mode allows the host to form several artificial 'cameras' of vision that follow a select target in range, flying in various directions and at various speeds, appearing and disappearing spontaneously, but always following the target. The host can view one or as many of these cameras at once as they wish. They can be pinpointed to anyone the host can see within range when first using this sight mode and will follow them without stopping until the host dismisses this effect.

Fatal Strike - secondary effect

The host can exert an additional payload of kinetic force when attempting to punch, kick, or otherwise hit someone. This kinetic force is dependent on the vision mode the host is using currently when using this power.

No vision mode - an additional 10 kilojoules. Twice the force of a professional, high-end martial artist. Stage 2-3 Wounds.
(a) vision mode - additional 30-100 kilojoules; mildly controllable. Will break numerous bones in a human's chest at moderate release. Stage 3-4 Wounds, 5 in critical hits.
(b) vision mode - additional 125-150 kilojoules; mildly controllable. Enough force to bend and/or tear through a centimeter of solid steel. Stage 5 Wounds.
(c) vision mode - additional 10-40 kilojoules; mildly controllable. Stage 2-3 Wounds, 4 in critical hits.
(d) vision mode - additional 50 kilojoules. Definitely enough to break a bone, Stage 3-4 Wounds.
(e) vision mode - additional 10 kilojoules. Twice the force of a professional, high-end martial artist. Stage 2-3 Wounds.

Manton Limit: Self, touch

Lethality: Some of the vision modes enhance the Striker power to Stage 5 wounds. This is fatal.

Shardbody Mutation: When using the primary effect of the power, the host's eyes intensely release a purple-black gas-like vapor.

Woman of Steel - Breaker 3 (Brute 5), Striker 3

Woman of Steel - primary effect

The host's body defaults to a molecular state where it is built entirely out of industrial steel: this is their normal form.

Mechanically, the host is outright immune to sources of Stage 1, 2 and 3 injuries, and has extreme resistance to Stage 4 injuries and even should they receive a Stage 4 injury, its intensity is lowered to Stage 1. Stage 5 injuries, in that same vein, are treated as either Stage 2 or 3 injuries instead. For example, an attack that would cause dismemberment in a normal human will only cause a small graze on the host's body, while an attack that would obliterate someone instantly, such as a grenade exploding, is a moderate and negligible injury.

In addition, the host's mass is increased by a factor of two and their movement isn't hampered by their new form. This means that their ability to damage enemies is exponentially increased. A powerful punch from the host counts as a Stage 3 injury, with a risk of broken bones, internal bleeding, and minor organ damage. A critical strike may result in Stage 4 injuries.

With mental effort and focus, the host can temporarily revert to look human. This requires constant attention, as dropping their guard will instantly revert them back to their metallic state. When human, they can perform any actions they normally would be able. Maintaining this attention during stressful situations is impossible, but doing so during day-to-day interactions is easy. It's impossible to do during sleep.

Metallize - secondary effect

The host can, at will, pass on a layer of her own body to up to five touched people or objects. This creates a flexible, thin coating of steel around the target in question, protecting them from harm. This lowers all wounds received by one stage. It increases their weight negligibly.

This does not affect the host, other than very slightly decreasing her weight.

At will, the host can recall the layers of metal back to her own body, even from far away.

Manton Limit: Self, up to five organic targets

Lethality: Can be pretty lethal, but it mostly helps avoid death.

Shardbody Mutation: The host's molecular composition is optimized to be entirely out of steel. A blueprint of their original body is accessible and they can revert to it with effort.

So, yeah. Shame the vial deviated. It resulted in more data being wasted on a metallic body than secondary powers. The power itself is far from flashy or destructive, but look on the bright side: now your hair is made from very durable steel wires and you can use it to strangle someone to death by wrapping it around their neck.

By the way, if you're unhappy with this power, tell me. I'm willing to reroll or generate a new one, or even let you pick another vial.

Birdsie Birdsie Awesome. So now I'm a female Colossus....Would it be acceptable to change my character a bit? Obviously I need a new picture, but is it alright if I change a few other things?

Birdsie Birdsie Awesome. So now I'm a female Colossus....Would it be acceptable to change my character a bit? Obviously I need a new picture, but is it alright if I change a few other things?
Of course.

Ah, Ive been meaning to ask, but what does the ancient strength do?
Birdsie Birdsie
It means the power had more starting data to draw from at the time of the Trigger Event. This means a number of things; the power is more complete, has less arbitrary limitations like timers and sometimes it results in more secondary effects.

BASIC INFORMATION
Name
: Jordan Kathleen
Aliases: Dan (Long story)
Age: 24
Gender: Female, but will go by any pronoun

PERSONAL
Sexuality
: Bisexual
Personality: Jordan considers herself a pretty social person, within her group of limited people. She has a small temper when around people she doesn't really know personally. Jordan prefures actions over words, which does lead her to do some risky things without letting anyone know. Jordan is a pretty quiet individual over all. One of the worst liers in the world, but damn it if she doesn't make up for it in stubborness over stupid things. Very fluid with changes, can wrap her head around most things, unless she has a problem with the plan (ie. Just hurting children or involving crowds) jordan will almost certainly point her oppion and won't change her mind for a while.
Backstory: Jordan was born from an unknown fater and lived with her mother for almost all of her life. Her home life stared off good and it was very accpeting, until her step-fater died from a vilians attack leaving her, her mother, and her new little brother alone to work with what they have. Since then, it was very clear in her household that superpower were not permitted under any circumstances and her mother became very anti-heros since no one could save her husband. Her brother on the other hand, was still very hero-ticstic and always wanted to become one. Torn between the pair, jordan decided to play the risky move of supporting both family members the best she could. However, that went out of the windo once her brother came back one day with powers. This angered her mom greatly and fights between the duo was more common then a new day. Even still, jordan played a roll in helping both of them calm down to one extend almost everyday. This caused a rift in jordans metal state for a long time until her now long stand freind katie joined the picture. Jordan never pushed her, but katie decided on her own to help jordan deal with her family and made her enjoy life. That is before she died in a fire-filled villan attack at her workplace. Jordan blamed herself for that and has never really given up that thought as she continues through life.
Cape Type: Natural
Trigger Event:
Jordan looked over the large crowds of people. Even when she was just stories above them and no person below could see her, she could still feel like they were just watching her. Always. A shiver ran down her spine as she watched them walk on by, no one looking in her direction.
"Dan?" A voice called from behind her, jolting Jordan from her thoughts.
"By the plants!" Jordan called back with a ring of familiarity as she turned her head to see the familiar image of her friend peaking out with a smile on her face. Her excitemtn seemed to melt all of jordans previous fears as she jumpted over the railing to join jordan by the dge.
"Man, whats up with you and watching people? You hate crowds yet I always find you up here staring down at them." She jocked half-heartedly as she looked over the edge to see the bussling streets. Jordan just shrugged.
"I don't know, k. I stopped questioning it the 5th time I ended up here." Jordan replied sarcastically as she crossed her arms and looked over at her freind. This caused her to laugh, a sweet joyest tone that always made jordans day, not matter how bad it was.
That was 3 weeks ago. Now jordan was leaning back in that same spot she was in before. Her arms clucheding her legs as she tried to block out the images of her brothers fight with their mom. It happened just earlier that day and it was just maddening listening to both sides. Though it ended as quickly as it started... her brother was gone and her mother, when she regains conciousness, would be after her next. She wished to god that katie was here. She could make everything better, as she has before. At the thought, jordan just cluched her hands together and burrowed her head into her legs. Katie wasn't here anymore.
And then lost in her own though, she didn't hear somone oppening the roof doors. Or someone moving the hanging plants to get to her hiding spot.
"Danny?" A voice called out, making Jordan fold in on herself tighter. 'Why?' She thought to herself as her mother moved in closer to sit next to her. "What are you doing up here? And not helping me with your terrible, mutant brother?" Her voice sounded even, but jordan knew better then to trust it. So she didn't answer, jordan learned her lesson long ago. Good girls don't answer.
"Are you affraid of him?" No answer. "Oh don't be that way, I know how you and your brother are. Did you know about his...powers before?" No answer. Wrong move. "Jordan." Her voice was thick with anger now. Jordan didn't even dare look up to see her mothers face. "Answer your mother." Her voice was stern and commanding, as it always was when she didn't get what she wanted from her children.
"Yes..." She answered softly, but seemling loud enough for her mother to hear. Jordan jumpted as she felt a hand on her head before recorlkding from the touch. Her eyes slowly lifted up to look at her mother. wrong move #2. Her mothers glare sent sivers down her spine.
"Why didn't you tell me." She threatened, her grip suddently tightening around her hair. Jordan let out a yelp in suprise at the sudden force. "Why didn't you tell me?" She tried again. Jordan didn't answer. Wrong move number #3. Suddenly, her head was turned away from her mother and towrds the edge. 'Wait wait!' Jordans mind screemed at her, 'Just tell her!' But jordan stayed quiet as she was foced to look over the edge at the lines of people before her. With her mind already in the gutter of fear, staring down that mobs of people that her mind forces to beleive that are only looking at her was just another water fall.
Please stop
"Tell me now."
I-I can't
"Jordan you have 3 seconds."
My mouth won't listen.
"3..."
please no...
"2..."
There are so many people.
"You can stop this." Her mothers' sneering voice seemed to echo in her ear.
I KNOW THAT
"1...This is what happens when you fail me." Jordan's face was twisted back to see her mother for the last time before starting to freefall off the building. She shut her eyes as tears started to form. 'Your fault.' Her own mind rang in her head as she landed open the group of onlookers below.
"OMG is that a person!!!!"
why?
"Someone call 911!"
why her?
"Has she been stabbed?"
why did it have to end this way?
"What the hell?
Fear started to grip up her heat as she slowly lost consciousness. peoples face all around looking at her. Why do they always stare?

I find it difficult to read your Trigger Event because of subpar grammar and punctuation, which makes it hard for me to approve your character. Could you please try to re-format it in a more proper novella style?

Human Artillery Shell - Brute/Mover 8, Stranger 3, Breaker 1

Human Artillery Shell - primary effect

At will, the host can stand in place for a time to charge themselves with potential energy. The host can then execute the main effect and transfer the potential energy into kinetic energy alongside a given vector. Or in English; the host stands in place for a while then suddenly blasts off like a cannonball in any direction they want.

For each second of standing still, the host gains a kinetic charge that accelerates them by 30kph, up to the hard limit of 450kph or fifteen seconds.

When this effect is applied and the host is fired this way, their skin's molecular structure alters itself to become as hard and immune to physical forces as graphene, making them immune to even Stage 6 and above injuries for the duration of the movement; nothing short of molecular disintegration or intense radiation will hurt them in this state. This transfers to their clothing and items. This allows the host to blast themselves through walls without consequence, or throw themselves alongside a street at the speed of a bullet without their body being obliterated by the resultant g-forces. This immunity to damage persists only for the duration of the enhanced movement.

This power lacks fine control, simply throwing the host in the chosen direction and it doesn't help the host's motor control, so tumbling is often a side-effect. This can be used to leap across vast distances or, as the name suggests, turn oneself into a human artillery shell.

Being hit by the host during their movement results in injury, dependent on the host's velocity at the time of impact. It can be virtually any Stage of injury. At maximum velocity, due to the hardness of the host's body, the power deals Stage 6 or above wounds; comparable to an artillery shell, capable of tearing through an actual tank.

Faster Than Sound - secondary effect

The host can apply a Stranger effect to their power by increasing the charge time by a factor of two. Upon doing so, they execute the power as normal, however, upon impact with any target or surface, the host releases a wave of volatile kinetic energy that affects the oxygen in the area and spreads outwards at the speed of sound.

The oxygen combusts rapidly, causing a blinding flash of light and the volatile movement causes ringing in the ears of anyone within range. Essentially, it causes a flashbang effect, blinding and deafening everyone who witnesses this for several seconds and disorienting them. Anyone standing too close to the host when this happens may receive Stage 1, 2, or 3 injuries from burns (give or take a radius of 8/4/2 meters for each). The flashbang effect has a much larger range.

Manton Limit: Self

Lethality: If you can't figure out how to kill someone with this, you should stop trying to be a parahuman.

Data: Force ++++++++++ ++++++++++ (20)

This is definitely one of the flashy ones. The Trigger Event just so happened to fit this shard perfectly.

I'm really sorry for the wait. I didn't notice the Trigger Event is done until now.

The Amazing Strongman - Changer 3 (Brute 7, Mover 3)

The Amazing Strongman - primary effect

[A/N: Here, "strength" refers to "overall condition." Muscular strength, durability, reflexes, speed, balance, the lot. Please, read it as such.]

The host's strength is increased by a factor of 1.5x naturally and permanently, even under power-scrambling effects. This applies at all times, even when the brunt of the power isn't active.

At will, the host can begin optimizing their body. Through self-targeted biokinesis, the host's muscle and bones begin to grow thicker and gain greater vigor. In twenty seconds, they become 2.5x as strong as the host was before the Trigger Event (accounting for the paragraph above,) and in forty seconds, they are 3.3x as strong. After a minute and ten seconds, the host is 4.2x as strong, and at the two-minute mark, he reaches the 5.0x strength modifier and stops expanding there.

After a minute, the host's internal organs start adjusting, the lungs become capable of taking deeper breaths and the cardiac system improves, allowing for greater blood flow and stamina. Once the two-minute mark is reached, the power applies all of its remaining 'gist' into pure regeneration, healing the host's wounds at an exponential rate. Stage 4 injuries become Stage 3 in two minutes, Stage 3 become Stage 2 in one minute, Stage 2 become Stage 1 in thirty seconds, and Stage 1 wounds dissipate into healthy tissue in ten seconds.

Due to the increase in strength, the host is capable of dealing higher level injuries with simple attacks such as punches or kicks, provided the attack hits.

This power has an internal 'energy supply' that is limited in scope. Once the host reaches maximum strength, he has about eight minutes left to enjoy this state. This power supply regenerates automatically and returns to full strength after not using the power for ten minutes, coming back at a 1:1 second rate. This power supply is burnt through rather quickly when the power has to heal the host's wounds, but it allows enough time to safely retreat.

Rejuvenating Wafture - secondary effect

When the host receives Stage 5 or above injuries, the power's main effect activates automatically and reaches full strength in six times the speed: twenty seconds, accounting for any time it was active prior and reaching full strength more quickly. The power then rapidly burns through its energy supply, lowering the wound to Stage 4 almost instantly, saving the host from the brink of death (in some cases, the host might literally be dead and the power revives him,) and then burns further to lower the wound to the comparatively safe Stage 3, leaving it there.

This, however, leaves the host with a measly fifteen seconds of time to use the remaining charge.

If the brain is destroyed, this effect cannot save the host.

Manton Limit: Self

Lethality: When power reaches full scope, the host can deal Stage 2 damage with a punch and Stage 3 with a critical strike. A few of these and whoever the host is pummeling is dead or about to be.

Data: Mettle ########## ########## (20)

Unfortunately, I am going to have to resign from this role play. I hope you have lots of fun, though!

Birdsie Birdsie What would be the point in Zoey wearing a mask? She's solid steel! They're gonna know who she is!

Birdsie Birdsie I took it as it took a but more effort to do so day to day.
It can be maintained easily when doing stuff like, say, having a coffee or talking to someone. Even taking a challenging math test creates only a minor risk of turning into steel. Things that cause her to lose focus to the point of not being able to maintain this are fear and adrenaline; getting startled or fighting.

BASIC INFORMATION

Name: Allysa May Andersen
Aliases: None
Age: 27
Gender: Female

PERSONAL

Sexuality: Bisexual

Personality: Allysa is the very definition of an airhead. She does things haphazardly and with next to no regard for the reasons or consequences, although she becomes aggressive when it comes to personal matters. This way of thinking also allows her to be versatile and resourceful in most events, but in normal settings it is a big inconvenience.

Backstory:

Allysa was born to a wealthy family, and thus had everything given to her on a silver platter. She had the best education, the best toys, the best things money could buy, but of course, all good things must fade one day.

It was seven years ago, a month after her twentieth birthday, that she lost her parents. They were on a car ride to a certain town but a sudden land shift slipped their car off the road and fell into a river. The impact killed her parents who were in the front seat, but she survived by some miracle.

The accident damaged her brain, giving her an alternate personality that overwrote her previous one.

She, now holding a large fortune on her own, adopted a small girl from the slums, and named her Maria. She loved the girl, and she became her way of rehabilitation.

Cape Type: Natural
Trigger Event:
It was September 3, the 10th death anniversary of Allysa's parents, so she and her adoptive daughter Maria stayed at their house and payed respect to her parents by lighting a candle in their memory.

September 3 was also the date of a planned robbery on the Andersen household, but as the occupants did not leave, the plan turned into a murder-robbery.

The assailants entered the house through the use of their special abilities while the mother-daughter pair played on the grounds. They heard the loud thuds, and decided to hide. Allysa felt her heart beat faster. She was beginning to panic.

"Don't worry, honey, we're going to be fine."

She told her daughter, and they switched hiding places, Allysa placing traps and warning indications along the way. Unfortunately, she was seen by the infiltrators. One of them raised a gun to her.

"Damn!"

She covered her daughter while they ran. She searched their path for any weapon she can use. She found a thick plank, and nothing else.

"Damnit, I am not losing anyone today! Honey," she turned to her daughter, "run to my room and call the police. Go, go!"

She picked up the plank and haphazardly charged towards the criminals. Swerving left and right in serpentine manner, she aimed at the men. She hoped the plank was strong enough.

Weapons and Gadgets: Allysa always carries a plethora of disposable weapons. Ballistic and throwing knives, bolas, quick-draw revolvers, and only two sustained weapons in a semi-automatic and a katana.

Items & Personal Belongings: Allysa has a large fortune at her disposal, so she can easily access finance. She usually carries supplementary gadgets like her phone and tasers. She has a mansion by the edge, although it is a little run down due to age and happenings.

Skills & Abilities: Among all things, she has mastery of almost all weapons, and she has near-genius intellect.

Superpowers: (Leave blank until you receive the details from the GM, then edit the CS to contain this.)

Weaknesses: She's an airhead, ditzy, clumsy, and she has mental issues like MPD and a little ADHD. She also has a little gambling addition.

FLUFF
Hobbies: She loves playing russian roulette, and gardening, and talking about her daughter, who is now in middle school.

Quote\s: "I don't like violence, but I'm not afraid of it."

Theme:
Looks very promising so far. The Trigger Event needs more details on the following:
- What powers were in use. In what amount.
- How many attackers. How many of them were powered. Were any of them known supervillains?

So far, seeing only what we have, this is clearly a Trump power, as powers were involved in the Trigger Event. What kind of Trump exactly, we'll see in due time.

Finally got her done! Hope you all like her ^^
The rolls truly favor you. After I randomized your shard's element, I rolled for its age, it turned out to be Ancient. Your power also turns out to have some elements that suggest that Albany will become a walking powerhouse.

Also, a question. What exactly was the creature involved in her Trigger Event?

MoltenLightning MoltenLightning

This is tentative and subject to change depending on your answer to my earlier question

Gamma-Girl - Striker 8 (Blaster/Shaker 3), Mover 3, Brute 3

Gamma-Girl - primary effect

Using their body, the host can generate concentrated electromagnetic waves in the gamma spectrum with unique non-Rutherfordian properties. Although they pass through most matter unimpeded like normal gamma rays, after going away an arm's reach away from the host, they rebind back to the host's body and reflect back out, until they achieve critical mass in ten seconds and the host stops generating further gamma rays.

Gamma rays are, obviously, very dangerous. Even momentary proximity to the host when using their power can cause Stage 3 to 5 burn wounds from radiation and has a 99.999% likelihood of causing malignant and uncurable cancer tumors. Also, it causes wallpapers to peel off and makes white paint yellow, so I think you can guess it's not very environmentally friendly.

The host can turn on a "Manton Dampener" that makes the power safer, reducing cancer risk to below 0.01% and lowering damage to Stage 1 to 2 burn wounds in ten seconds by consciously altering the properties of the gamma rays.

Interestingly enough, gamma rays share many similarities with x-rays (de facto, they are nigh-identical except for their source of origin,) and can be used to shrink and terminate cancer tumors with training. So eventually, the host should be able to use their power with enough proficiency to utilize it at full power without the threat of killing someone with cancer.

Did I mention yet that gamma rays hold a ginormous metric fuckton of ambient energy? A short, controlled zap and your phone is charged. (Or fried, if you're not careful.)

E=Mc2 Grenade - secondary effect

Gamma rays hold immense energy, as each of their waves has 10,000 times the amount of energy that an equivalent in photons (visible light) does, to the point where a concentrated and strong beam of them can convert a part of its charge on impact with a physical surface.

This allows the host to create matter ex nihilo, however, it is limited to free electrons and their anti-matter equivalent; positrons. This process takes several seconds of concentration and focus and molding gamma rays with their power, comparable to creating a localized hadron collider around their own axis. The resultant, nanometer-big electron-positron annihilation will result in a gamma forcefield-contained B meson and W & B boson cluster that oscillates at a frequency of over 1 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 simple harmonic motions per second.

Or, in normal people speech, you stand in place for a few seconds, focus, and you have an invisible, extremely small thingy that you can shoot at something to make shit blow up, with enough energy to total a car. Typically deals Stage 5 or 6 Injuries, but glancing contact (further away than six meters from the source of the explosion) can limit the injuries to Stage 4 or below. All-in-all, be careful with this.

The effective range of this explosion is a six-meter radius, and the 'throwing' range that the host can chuck the ex nihilo bomb at is a fifteen-meter radius.

In addition, the gamma rays, when they reflect off the host's body, will turn into solid matter coded with a biological chain identical to the host's own genetic makeup if they detect a wound. In practice, this means the host can heal from injuries at an accelerated rate. It is possible, with training, to direct this effect at other people, but mistakes can be fatal. The healing occurs at a rate of Stage 4 to Stage 3 in three days (and some stability), Stage 3 to 2 in six hours, and Stage 2 to 1 in half an hour.

Gamma Flight - secondary effect

The host can selectively make a part of their gamma rays hard by charging them kinetically and potentially, then releasing them in a given direction with a safety dampening effect. As a result, the host can generate push force that makes them capable of hovering and limited flight.

In practice, the host receives the ability to fly with the hard limit of 110kph, at altitudes no higher than one kilometer and an acceleration rate no higher than 10kph. Flying at top speed for too long may be dangerous for the host due to prolonged exposure to excessive g-forces, but can be alleviated with some kind of special equipment. The flight is very maneuverable.

Notably, ramming into a person at full velocity can cause Stage 4 injuries, but since the host doesn't have immunity to impacts, the effect is mutual.

Manton Limit: Self

Lethality: This power (a) causes Stage 3 burn wounds (literally peels off people's skin and chars their hair) in seconds and (b) it gives them stage 4c metastatic cancer over their entire bodies. Just pop this on, punch someone and turn it off. If your neighbor loses his hair the following day, you know who the supervillain is. Also, it explodes.

Data: Ruther ++++++++++ ++++++++++ ++++++++++ ++++++++++ (40)

It may seem overpowered, but for its data, it's really not. Let me go into detail, because I love describing the strategy of powers.

The core effect is, on its own, decently powerful but it's worth jackshit unless people willingly approach within a literal arm's reach. And chances are they won't if they know how it works. If they do, that means they either have a sword, they're a brute with some kind of immunity effect, or are wearing armor from solid lead. So you have to focus on other targets.

The secondary effect is where things get interesting. The ability to charge up to explode stuff certainly makes you dangerous as hecklepoops, but again, most of the time your target will either be a brute, or they'll be running as fast as they can. Alternatively, if they can't take it, it's likely you won't blow them up without repercussions like "premeditated murder with use of parahuman power," because let's be honest; using that effect to kill a normie is basically that. They don't stand an ounce, an iota of fucking odds against a literal anti-matter explosion.

And the third effect, perhaps the least strategic, is a simple high-speed flight ability. It has enough speed to allow you to chase cars across the city with 50-50 odds of success (in that cars are faster, but you can fly over buildings whereas a car can't,) or let you ram into a person for mutual obliteration (or maybe just fly after a guy to catch him, or to scale a building.)

Its side abilities like charging electric equipment or low-end regenerative effect are more like a side-dish compared to all of that, and don't really do much in an open, tactical scenario.

Is it versatile? Slightly. It offers high and dangerous firepower in low and middle range, is certainly suitable to deal with Brutes, such as Lung. At the same time, you have to exercise caution when dealing with unpowered normies or you'll just kill them on accident or give them Lung cancer (bad joke, I know.) It also offers fair mobility to top that off, so the end effect is flying artillery.

Overall, it's most effective against capes that: (a) like to get in close, (b) aren't particularly mobile, (c) aren't Blasters, (d) aren't Brutes.

If you tell me what the creature was, some Trump changes may occur, but don't have to. It'll probably limit one of the other effects, but give you something just as good to compensate. In fact, I might just leave it to your judgement. Do as you will.

I'm happy with the outcome, as it does a good job to reflect the Trigger Event. In-your-face threats result in Striker powers, and some may argue the Blaster power isn't exactly fitting, but I'd say it's not a big bother as it is more of an extension or "application" of the main effect. The Brute and Mover ratings originate, in equal parts, from her regeneration and flight, the first coming from the wound dealt by the creature and the latter from the momentary desire to flee and find aid which she didn't find.

Let me know what you think.
