"Good evening Madame." Cane bowed slightly to Amaras mother. "My name is Cane. Cane Andrews." When the moment had came, his nervousness had disappeared thankfully but now he waited for Amaras mother to recognize what he was. He took a step forward so he was standing behind and to the left a little of Amara. @sprouhtt

"You're a vampire?" Amara's mother asked him, and she was surprised at how graceful and polite he seemed, looked, and acted. A few negative thoughts ran across her mind before she bowed as well and smiled," It's a pleasure to meet you Cane, my name is Irina Pallastine." She told him and asked him to come into her home. Amara's mother was very well mannered women and she was rather accepting and understanding of her daughters wishes and choices. Her father walked out of the kitchen when they walked in with a cigar in his mouth, "Amara my baby girl," He said and walked up to her and hugged her tightly smiling that she came home in one piece. @Hartley

Cane could only nod at her as he processed how nice she was to him. He relaxed a little and followed them in, meeting her father and taking in the beautiful inside of Amaras house. She fit into the surroundings perfectly and he smiled. "Cane, sir, Cane Andrews. It's a pleasure to meet both of you." Cane put his hand out to Amaras father, hoping it wasn't weird. @sprouhtt

Amara's father looked at Cane's hands and then up at Cane and he shook his hand. The family wasn't the type of family who liked violence and never influenced it. The look on Amara's face was surprising when he had shaken Cane's hand thinking that he would reply he saw the way he looked at his daughter and knew that this wasn't a vampire who was looking for something to sink it's teeth into, he was looking for love and he found it. It pleased her father very much to see that she was happy. They spent the night talking and laughing, her mother gave Cane approval and so did her father, "So now are we talking about marriage and children in the future?" Her father said like any other father and Amara's mother agreed as well. Amara's face grew red and she shook her head at them, "Why do we have to discuss about this now?" She told them as she rolled her eyes and her mother laughed a bit as she sipped on her tea. @Hartley

Cane relaxed a lot more further into the night, until Mr. Pallastine mentioned marriage and children and he stilled instantly. They knew vampires couldn't exactly mate right? Maybe it was just a slip of the tongue or maybe there was something he didn't know. "I'm sorry sir but we should take some time with this, right Amara?" He looked over at her and gave her a silly smile. @sprouhtt

"Uh yes, we are just taking things at a rather slow pace." She told him and his parents knowing that the last party that she said 'slow pace' wasn't true at all given what had happened last night. She sat back in the chair and looked at her parents make conversation with him. @Hartley

Cane relaxed after that and enjoyed chatting with her parents, reassuring them that even though he seemed and talked like a human some time, he was definitely a vampire. He had to explain why he had spent so long away from people and traveling everywhere. He honestly couldn't answer the question because it was way too personal. He hoped they respected it and didn't think he was hiding something dangerous. @sprouhtt

The sky fell dark after a long conversation and laughs and jokes going around and when Amara and her parents had finished dinner she felt bad that Cane could eat what they were having since he was mostly used to blood. Amara's parents went off to clean the plates and everything,"I'm going to say goodbye to my parents and then we can head off," She told him and went to her mother and fathers side and kissed them both and told them that she would be back to visit them. @Hartley (Hey i have to go but i will be back on tomorrow at the same time!)

Cane nodded at her, planning on getting a bite to eat when they got back because he was really hungry. He waited till Amara was done saying her goodbyes and then Cane followed suit and led Amara back to the carriage. @sprouhtt

Amara's mother kissed her again on the cheek showering her with kisses before she had left and her father was waving goodbye and wishing her luck. Amara later on sat back in the carriage, "See you didn't need those weapons that you brought," She told him and laughed. @Hartley

Somewhere, Jack had been wandering and came across the carriage. Jack hungered for farm animal blood, and when he saw the carriage he decided to attack it, but using a careful plan, as maybe they have a stake in hand. Jack placed the crossbow over his shoulder like a baseball bat and decided to wait for the carriage to go.

Cane felt an odd sense around him as the carriage took off. He looked over at Amara and frowned. "I might have to after all. Someone is close by, really close by." Cane poked his head out of the carriage and looked around into the darkening area around them. @sprouhtt @ArcticVoid

After Vasilisa came inside she was soaked, taking off her shoes as she held them in her hand. Oliver was god knows where while she could care less about Ciro. Her feet padding softly on the floor, leaving behind footprints on the ground. Her dress became heavy after the rain as she picked it up around her feet to make it easier to walk. She wasn't cold, though she never really was, water dripping from her clothes and hair as she made her way inside her room to change.

"Amara, there is. Ill be back." Cane opened the door to the carriage and threw his hood on to help protect against the rain. He grabbed onto the top of the carriage and swung himself up top, reassuring the driver he needed to be up here. @sprouhtt @ArcticVoid

"Be careful please," she told him in a calm voice. She hoped that nothing was out there but she wasn't sure either. Amara sat in her seat playing with the buttons on the coat. "Is everything okay out there?" She asked Cane. @Hartley

Cane had slid out two of his knives and he put his power to work, pushing the wind around the carriage and making a shield out of it as they passed the presence and away from it. Cane waited a few minutes until he felt sure they were alright and jumped back into the carriage. "Everything is fine, right now at least. Let's just get back to the castle." He held Amaras hand tightly and close to him, dedicated to protecting her @sprouhtt

Amara was very appreciative of what Cane did and she kissed him on the cheeks,"yeah, it's getting worse outside." She told him and they began walking up the stairs of the castle and then the doors were opened by the same maids again. @Hartley

Anne, unsure of the situation, decided to finish the walk in the garden thar had been so rudely interrupted. She could care less about the wind or rain, but she changed into a lighter dress to prevent her ballgown from being ruined. Now that she not burdened by the layers of heavy fabric, she found it easier to move around, allowing her to move quickly and quietly into the garden. She took a deep breath of fresh air, glad for the space.

Draken had been studying the castle. He was sitting in a tree, waiting. Watching the castle. He could smell vampires were present. From what else he could tell, there was humans as well. I am rather thirsty. He smiled at the thought.

Judging the time was right, he climbed down from the tree, and found himself in the garden. He began walking forward, faking a limp. He had already applied a cut to his forehead, which was now bleeding heavily. He was even preventing it from healing. To add to the act. It was drama, and he loved drama. "Help!" He called horsely. He needed to make his way inside.

Walking out of the room Vasilisa was all freshened up. Her dress was thicker than the last, throwing a scarf over her shoulders as she walked out of her room and down the hall. "Where on earth is Oliver?" She thought as she continued to walk, finding herself in the main foyer of the castle. She would look around, taking in the sights as she watched others walk by her.

Oliver was out and about, running around outside becoming soaked by the rain. He loved rain but normally he would stay inside to tend to Vasilisa. Coming up on the main road of the castle he would hear a man yell and start to run towards him, stopping only a few feet away to look at him. He looked pretty banged up, and he assumed he was human only because his wounds were not healing. "Hold on a second!" Oliver yelled as he ran to go help the man.

@DaManofWar

Anne jumped slightly, hearing someone calling for help. She ran past the beautiful rose bushes, trying to follow the source of the sound. It was clear that this person- likely a man, judging by the depth of the voice- was hurt badly. The shout was full of pain, and it only made her run faster. She eventually reached the man, who had a heavily bleeding cut on his forehead. "Are you alright?!" She exclaimed, rushing over to him.

"I...I was attacked," he groaned. "Barely made it out alive. Some kind of bat...bit me....a monster," Draken fell forward onto the ground, pretending to black out. As part of the rouse, he began to let the wound heal, but slowly, at a pace no one would notice. He began breathing haggardly, straining. He had done injuries to his lungs as well. Not fatal, but enough to make it look like he was badly hurt. Seemed the fools would buy his performance. I must go into acting.

Anne knelt beside him, checking his heart beat and wounds. She reached into her bag, pulling out bandages to wrap the wound. She turned to Oliver, hoping that he would help. "Can you help me? I can carry him, and he can stay in my room, but I need medical supplies. Do you have any?" She looked at him desperately, pleading with her eyes.

Lifting him up he started dragging him to the castle but stopped. If I bring him in there the vamps would go crazy. He thought, looking up to see a girl coming towards them. I need to get Vasilisa, she would know what to do. He looked over at Anne and shook his head. "If we bring him in there he be eaten alive. Stay here with him and I'll go get someone we can trust. Okay?" He hoped she would comply as he started running towards the Castle to go get Vasilisa.
