'What was that Ciro?" She asked hearing what he had said and she took a bite of her food and it was surprisingly delicious. @Aio

Vasilisa shook her head begging Ciro to not speak just this once. Ciro saw that Vasilisa was uncomfortable and smiled as he spoke. "Well first Vampire and Human is a total taboo. What are you trying to do get him to turn you? Also Cane was all gun ho about Vasilisa and then this..cant say Im sad about it though. You two suit each other." He would give them a sinister smile before he took a sip of his drink, placing a hand on Vasilisa's shoulder and squeezed it slightly just enough to feel her squirm under his grip.

Cane focused on Ciro and opened his power a little, tilting his drink into his mouth and pushing his chair from Vasilisa. "I don't care what you say, Ciro. And the more uncomfortable she is," Cane looks at Vasilisa, "the more uncomfortable you'll be. Now, may we enjoy breakfast?" Cane squeezed Amaras hand a little tighter, trying to hold back. @sprouhtt @Aio

Ciro leaned forward and smiled. "Is that a promise?" He teased as he toyed around with his glass. Vasilisa tried to smile as she placed a hand on Ciro's shoulder. "Now dear." She spoke through gritted teeth. "I think that's enough don't you?" Ciro sighed as he leaned back. By this time Oliver was at the edge of his seat unable to finish his food. He pushed a glass of blood towards Vasilisa as he spoke. "All I'm saying is what's gonna happen when she turns old and Sir Cane over here won't look a day over 20. He certainly won't change her not if he wants the same fate as most of the vampires that do change the humans."

"...I'm not going to waste my breath on you," She said to him and her 'blood begins to bowl' and if she doesn't leave the room she will say something that probably won't regret saying given the fact that she isn't afraid of people like Ciro. Amara didn't even finish her food, She felt Cane grab her hand and he squeezed it rather tightly cracking a few of her fingers.

"It would be worth the loss." Cane blurted it out before he could process it, but didn't regret the words. He had done bad things, and there wasn't many way to atone for what he had caused in the past. He smirks as he remembers a small detail and looks back at Ciro. "I know for a fact I won't end up like most vampires who attempt to turn someone." He remembered what Kareem had taught him about turning humans, and it was how she had turned him and been perfectly fine. @Aio @sprouhtt

Vasilisa quickly stood up, fire in her eyes as she turned and left without saying goodbye. Her lips were pursed as she walked out of the hall, pushing past the others who were entering. SHe felt as though she was about to explode. Turning down the hall she found herself on the balcony of the ballroom, leaning over the railing she began to scream at nothing. It was unlike her to act out but between the blood she injested and Ciro's comments she needed this.


Ciro watched Vasilisa go in disbelief while Oliver smiled. He was happy she was gone, knowing how much it drove her crazy when Ciro picked fights. After awhile Ciro shrugged and went back to drinking the blood in his glass. "Forgive my fiance she can be rather...dramatic." He would laugh under his breath as he swirled the blood in his glass. "And as for turning someone, most who do turn their loved ones end up dying by their hands."

Amara sat there and didn't say a word, still thinking about what Cane had said to her about her turning old and Cane never aging and never going to die. "Excuse me," She said to everyone at the table and she let go of Canes hands, she needed some air apart from Ciro who was just saying nasty things with that dirty mouth of his. But before she had left she took the glass of wine and splashed Ciro in the face with it, getting his suit, hair, and face wet with wine and walked off.

Cane looked at Amaras work and smiled before standing up and finishing his drink. "Oliver, care to join me or are you gonna go to Vasilisa?" Cane turns to walk back to his room but he quickly turns around and leans down to Ciro. "I never killed Kareem who turned me, the love of my life. So why don't you rethink that little thing and remember that not everyone is the same." He had whispered it in a deadly voice at Ciro and then turned and walked back to his room. He was tired of the man completely now and all it would take was a little bit more. @sprouhtt @Aio

 

[Aio]

Oliver quickly got up to follow Cane snickering at Ciro as he left. It was all Ciro could do was laugh, his laugh rumbled through the hall before he stood and excused himself to all that stared before continuing on to his room. Ciro kept laughing even as he went inside of his room to change. What Amara did was a big mistake and he was gonna return the favor.

Cane walked to his room but instead of walking into it, he stood outside it. He wanted to wait and see where Amara was and make sure she was all right. "So, Oliver, I'm sorry that ended how it did. I knew that things wouldn't last long when we came over." @sprouhtt @Aio

Amara went to go and check up on Vasilisa, "Hey," SHe said to her and looked to see that she was over by the balcony trying to calm down, "I'm sorry about what happened," SHe said and put her hand on Vasilisa back for comfort. @Aio

 

[Aio]

Oliver shrugged. "He was already like that before you came. He was just lookin to pick a fight. He saw you as a threat that could split him and Vasilisa apart so that is why there was so much outrage." Vasilisa was still screaming from the balcony, or attempting anyways her voice long gone after the few minutes of her being there, but she couldn't go back in fear she might lose it if she sees Ciro again.


Vasilisa turned to look at Amara and smiled kindly, mustering what dignity she had left. "Do not apologize dear. It was not your undoing that cause this whole ordeal." She smiled though it wavered slightly as she tried to push through her emotions to appear sane.

"Still, Oliver, I wanted to apologize. Anyways, I need to go find Amara so I will take my leave." Cane quickly strides back to the ballroom, wondering if Amara might be with Vasilisa, as that would be the most likely option. He looks around the room and finally sees two woman out on the balcony he had shared with Vasilisa last night. @Aio @sprouhtt

"You shouldnt have to put through with him, why are you still with a man like him?" Amara asked as she sighed and leaned against the balcony with Vasilisa. She felt bad for Vasilisa and how Ciro was treating her with such disrespect, she was the women who was going to give him half of her money to be a family with him; he might as well treat her nicely. She sees Cane and waved him over, "Hey, you left Oliver?" She asked. (I have to go to sleep guys but I will be on bright and early tomorrow 6am)

"He and I are betrothed... I don't have much say." She whispered as her smile faded. Turning to see Cane she smiled slightly moving over so he could stand with Amara. She kept her head down, messing with the folds of her dress to keep busy. She needed to take her mind off Ciro and what had happened but it seemed it was harder done than said.

"Something my mother told me is that in life when someone is treating you bad it's harder to leave them then to stay with them, given the fact that you and him probably have a lot of history together." Amara told Vasilisa hoping this would give her some words of encouragement to show that she understands her problem. She looked over to Cane and thought about what Ciro said about their love being 'taboo,' and she shook her head slightly just a little, not even noticeable, at the thought of it.

Cane walked over to the girls and stood next to Amara, grabbing hold of her hand gently and giving it a little squeeze. "Ciro will be out for you after what you did, so, if he tries anything..." he trailed off, knowing both of them got the hint of him not holding back any longer against the man. He looked down into Amaras soft eyes and smiled. He didn't care what Ciro said, he loved this woman no matter what others might consider it. @Aio @sprouhtt

Here goes Amara again, blushing like an idiot when Cane looked at her that way. Amara was bending all of the rules right now but she was worried about the rules getting broken she was just madly in love. "Ciro deserved, I'm glad I did what I did to him." She said to Cane and was worried about the so called 'fight' or surprise that Ciro might give her in the future. She didn't want Cane getting hurt since this was her doing and not his. @Hartley

Cane saw her worried look and smiled at her. She was concerned for his safety, which she didn't need to be. "Dont worry about me Amara. Ciro won't be a problem for me at all, my particular power is very....unpredictable." the air vibrated around them as he said that and he smirked at her before leaning down and kissing her lightly. @sprouhtt

"Don't hurt yourself," She said to him quietly before smiling. The wind that blew around where they were standing gave her goosebumps on her arms and she locked arms with Cane and held his arm tightly and close to her so that she wouldn't be as cold as she is now with that obnoxious wind. When Cane had kissed her she felt a little embarrassed that he did it in front of people since it made her blush often and everyone knows that Amara blushes 24/7, that was one think she didn't like about herself. @Hartley

Vasilisa smiled at the two, though small and sad it still was a smile. "I just ask you please don't kill Ciro, immobilize him if you want but please don't kill him." She knew she sounded ridiculous as she spoke begging for a persons life, especially one who had done her so much wrong.

"I understand Vasilisa. Ill do my best to try not to kill him but that is up to him." Deep down Cane just wanted to kill the man, but he didn't want Vasilisa to hate him so he would do his best not to. He looked at Amara and smiled. "What is planned for the rest of the day?" @sprouhtt @Aio

"I'm not quite sure but I take my leave this afternoon," she said to him and thought about what Vasilisa had asked Cane not to do but Amara knew it was going to take a lot of strength for Cane not to kill Ciro.

"You don't mean leave the castle do you? Not in this storm." Cane thought if she really was going to leave the castle, he would have to help her. This storm was only getting worse. @sprouhtt @Aio
