Diali didn't know how long her eyes were closed or when she ended up laying down, but when she opened her eyes the first thing she saw was the kitten staring up at her, its golden eyes wide and smokey as its ribbon was pulled off and dangling in a mess against the silken red sheets. She and the cat stared at each other before she smiled. "I'll name you Smokey," she whispered to it, and it sat up then. Patting over to her and lying down beside her, she pulled the comforter up then. Cloaking them in its warmth as she stared at the wall. Right now rain was padding down, and she hadn't heard any thunder, only saw the lightning as purple hues danced off the walls. "You don't like storms," she thought out loud, the kittens body trembling slightly against her bodice. She lifted her hand, cupping the kittens small head gently before she began to pet him with her index finger. They remained that way for a good while before she decided to get up at the sound of rushing feet. People were waking and leaving down the hall, and she turned to look at the window, recognizing that the storm was long gone with a grey sky greeting her. She could tell, this was just the calm before the storm, another on its way, and much stronger, as she sighed and slid off the bed. With a yawn and a stretch, Diali walked across the room to her suitcase, lugging it off the dresser as she prepared her clothes for the day. After they were laid out, a simple black dress she enjoyed wearing when she knew she wasn't going any where special, she headed to the bathroom and began to wash up, cleaning everything which included teeth. Once she was done, she didn't hesitate to get dressed and the moment she looked up from fixing her black ballet flats, she saw her cute little companion staring at her expectantly. She smiled, plucking the creature off the bed as she headed to the door and into the hallway.

It was only moments later when Diali ended up in the dining hall, a small crowd with Vasilisa and the rest talking among themselves. She glanced their way before heading into the dining hall, curiosity beaming on her face before she saw what she had missed. A soaked seat with the masculine smell of man, which had to be Ciro as she innocently looked around for the soaking man. Frowning, since she couldn't fight him, she looked down at the kitten that nuzzled her arm happily, wondering if it had seen Ciro, although it obviously didn't. Shrugging, the woman plucked a lukewarm mug of Type AB, downing it instantly before she looked outside a nearby window with an empty mug.

"You don't mean leave the castle do you? Not in this storm." Cane thought if she really was going to leave the castle, he would have to help her. This storm was only getting worse. @sprouhtt @Aio
"I don't wish to leave but my parents would be worried if I did not show up, but then again I'm not sure if they are home right now." She told him with a concerned look hoping her mother and father made it to her fathers sisters house before the storm got worse.

"Would you like me to accompany you? I would like to get out of here and explore a little. Unless," he paused for a second, "your parents wouldn't like me for obvious reasons." @sprouhtt

"Sure why not," She told him and smiled at him as she held him close to her. "I leave in four hours to go and visit them," Amara said and the thought of her parents crossed her mind once more and she hoped that they were safe. Amara said goodbye to Vasilisa as she left the balcony, "Are you coming?" She asked Cane since she had to go and tell the maids to prepare the carriage that she came with last night. @Hartley

"I need to stop by my room and grab a few necessities so yes." He grabbed her hand and waved by to Vasilisa, and then walked them towards their rooms. "Will your parents disapprove of us?" Cane was concerned that Amara would be shunned by her family and didn't want to ruin her life. @sprouhtt

Vasilisa smiled slightly as Amara and Cane left, she didn't want to leave quite yet to afraid of what was in store for her inside. She would lean over the railing and look below her as she shut her eyes to think. She really did need to think, not just what Amara had said but the whole situation in itself. What would she do now? She could run away like her brother, she already saw the effect of what it did to her parents and did not want to double that shame. She couldn't leave Oliver, Ciro would rip him to shreds. She felt the rain start to sprinkle on her back but made not effort to move inside.

'My parents gave me a certain amount of days to fall in love with someone before my arranged marriage took action," She told Cane and they began walking towards Canes room first before heading to hers. "They did tell me to find anyone of my liking, and I told them whoever I choose they cannot say one word to me about it." Amara said in a stern voice knowing her parents and especially her mother is the one who would be doing all the talking when she first say her with Cane. She was prepared for the long speech and Amara began to say a prayer in her head praying that her mother likes who she has chosen to spend the rest of her life with. @Hartley

Cane nodded in understanding and then thought of something. "I must of been away from civilization for a long time I believe. All these arranged marriages I don't understand. Forced to marry someone you may or may not love and just for money and for your name to get known." He looked down at Amara and sighed. "Sorry, just thinking out loud." They got to his room and he quickly entered and shut the door behind him. He went into his closet and grabbed a big, long case that was double locked and sealed. @sprouhtt

"Yes, only some families do this not all." She told him as they entered the room. Amara watched as Cane closed the door with such speed and he moved over to the closet where there was a big long case which seemed to be double locked and sealed; important maybe? "If you don't mind me asking what's in the case?" She asked as her curiosity grew wondering what he could have in there that was so important. @Hartley

Cane stood up and walked up to Amara and looked down into her eyes. "Can you promise never to tell anyone about what you see?" He felt he could trust her, and maybe Vasilisa and Oliver to but wasn't sure. He was sure the host himself was the only other person who knew about it. @sprouhtt

"I promise I won't tell," She told him and looked at him as he approached her. She was nervous and anxious to see what was in the heavily locked case. Her eyes were fixed on the case and nothing but the case curious as to what is in it. @Hartley

Cane kissed her gently and then turned back to the case. He laid his hands on it and focused his power into the sealed case, cracking the seal with a strong slice of wind. He then grabbed a key from within his coat and unlocked all three of the locks. The case was now ready to be opened and Cane braced himself. He slowly opened the case and wind rushed around the room which Cane quickly held back so Amara wouldn't be hurt by the vicious winds of his power. @sprouhtt

Amara felt a gush a wind again, the same wind from before. She was curious as to why he had wind locked in his case at this point nothing really surprised her for a moment, the wind was so strong that the wind played around with her dress and messed around with her hair as well. "Is that it, wind?" She asked him hoping it wasn't just wind in the case. @Hartley

Cane grinned and threw the lid of the case open, revealing dual silver short swords, four five inch curved knives and a chest harness for them and finally a pair of dark-bladed brass knuckles. "Don't worry, I don't plan on killing people with these unless they provoke it." Cane thought about Ciro and smiled before retrieving the chest harness and taking his coat and top piece of his suit off so he could put it on. @sprouhtt

"Why are you wearing that love?" She asked him as she approached the case and looked at the amount of armor and weapons he had in the case. @Hartley

"Well, in the castle it seems unreasonable because of the host himself and other vampires. But out there," Cane pointed out the window towards the outside world, "is dangerous. And I like to be prepared at all times." He leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Plus, I have someone I need to protect now." @sprouhtt

"How am I going to protect you," She said knowing that she doesn't have any special powers like, speed or super strength like he has. "Your saying that you want to protect me but what if it goes the other way around? What if I have to protect you?" She told him and thought of all of the negative feelings coming from what she had said. A frown has formed on her face. @Hartley

Cane frowned at her sudden sadness and slight fear. "I'm not sure that will happen anytime soon, but if you want a way to protect me then take this." He pulled an emerald ring off his hand and handed it to her. "If the time does happen when I need protection, punch me with that ring. Trust me, it'll do the rest." He finished strapping the harness on and put his knives into them, practicing pulling them out a few times rather quickly before being satisfied. @sprouhtt

"You might only need a few of these weapons, I wouldn't want my parents to be frightened." Amara told him and shook her head at the amount of weapons he was bring with him. She thought to herself that it was going to be a long night, "I can't punch you," She told him and she watched as he handed her the ring. She took the ring and slid on her middle finger. @Hartley

"I'm only bring the harness and knives. The other ones are more for....war I guess. And if the time comes, you'll have to hit me. It might save both of us." Cane closed the case, leaving the other weapons inside. He locked all three locks and put it back in the closet. "Lets get going shall we?"@sprouhtt

"Understood," She told him and walked over to the door and waited for him, "Yes lets," She told him and they both walked out of the room. Amara quickly walked into her room when they were passing to grab her coat since it was a bit cold outside. When they were done they were greeted by the butler and he escorted them out to the carriage and they got into the carriage and the coachmen began to ride off leaving the castle gates and making way down the steep hill. @Hartley

Cane welcomed the outside and sat comfortably next to Amara, only a little nervous about meeting her parents. They would know what he was, he was positive of that. He calmed himself, preparing to be hated for reasons of only being a vampire. He sighed as he realized he actually didn't care what they thought honestly. @sprouhtt

The ride was going to be about twenty minuets and Amara thought she would rest her head on Canes shoulder, "I'm really nervous Cane, and I don't usually get nervous." She told him the truth about how she was feeling and she pulls him close and lets her fingers intertwine with his, Canes fingers were warm in the center and cold at the tips of his fingers. @Hartley

Cane placed his chin on the top of her head and sighed. "I am too, surprisingly. For being a vampire, I come off very human sometimes don't I?" He gently squeezed her hand and strokes the back of her hand with his thumb. @sprouhtt

"You do, man up!" She said jokingly to him and chuckled trying to lighten up the mood. The rain began to fall and it stuck on the window and she watched as one droplet went to another droplet and then another one under it got big enough and ran off the window. Amara knew her parents would be understanding, she just hoped that they didn't criticized her about him. It's been about thirty- forty minuets now and they have finally arrived. Amara was asleep on Cane's shoulder when she felt the carriage stop and she felt the immediate stop of the carriage. She woke up and the door was opened by the coachmen and her and Cane got off; one at a time of course. She was greeted by her mother who showered her with kisses.

"My dear Amara, you came back in one piece." She said and kissed Amara on the cheek again until she saw a tall man standing behind her daughter, "Who might this be?" She asked. @Hartley
