A Strong Refusal

A few hours later, Castiel looked at the clock and noticed it was around noon. Turning to the boys and looking down, he asked, "Are you two hungry?"

On cue, Dean's stomach grumbled and he nodded, not noticing that he reached out his arms to Cas, then feeling relief at being held and carried.

"I did not forget about you, Sam." the angel reassured as he picked up Sam also. Carrying them to the kitchen, and sitting them in their highchairs, with a bottle of juice and a sippy cup of juice waiting for them.

Without being prompted, Dean already started to drink his juice, not bothered by the sippy cup so much anymore.

After preparing lunch, Castiel sat in front of the brothers and handed Dean his usual plate and started to feed Sam, feeling incredibly comfortable and enjoying his Daddy role.

Eating messily with his hands, not caring about utensils, it was finger food anyways, Dean hummed happily.

Sam whined, and turned away from Cas, wanting to feed himself, like Dean. "I wanna feed myself, Daddy." He whined.

Blinking, and setting down his fork, Castiel nodded before pushing the plate towards Sam, "Alright."

Sam grinned, and slowly started to feed himself, getting only a little bit messy, as he copied Dean, trying to be a big boy,,too.

Once the two finished eating, Castiel wiped a damp cloth over the brother's faces gently.

Squirming, Dean put his hands in front before whining, "Daddy, stop."

Eventually stopping once the boys' faces were clean, Castiel removed them from their highchair and carried them over to their blanket once more, then sitting down with them.

Smiling at Daddy wanting to play with them, Dean offered his toys to Castiel and Sam, feeling generous.

Smiling warmly at the two brothers, Castiel wished he had done this sooner.

Falling deeper and deeper into his toddler head space, it seemed like Dean's speech would also take a turn, as it often did depending on the hunter's state of mind/emotion. Handing a doggie plushie, Dean babbled, "Here yew go, Sammy."

Titling his head and narrowing his eyes a bit at Dean's sudden, infantile statement, Castiel leaned close to Sam and whispered, "Is it normal for someone to talk like that, when they are in a head space like this?"

Not noticing what was going around him, Dean played with some blocks and started to make a fort.

"I don't really know, Cas. I guess so." Sam said, as he went back to playing with his dog for a minute, before deciding to help Dean with his block fort.

Still furrowing his brow, Castiel worried about Dean for a while. Of course, the older was happier in his little space. But...it just...wasn't something the angel was used to seeing.

After finishing the fort, Dean set up an army of plushies to guard it.

Sam sat back and watched his brother, thinking that he was acting a bit strange, even for being in littlespace.

In all honesty, Dean had little to no control over it. It just kind of...happened. One minute he was talking like the adult he was, and the next he's talking like he's two. Head spaces were a strange, strange thing.

Finishing his army, the green-eyed man giggled a bit, smiling to himself.

"Sammy see?" Dean babbled.

Sam nodded, and smiled at Dean, then looked up at Cas, frowning a bit. He was worried about his brother's unusual behavior.

Looking around worriedly, blue eyes clear, Castiel picked up Sam and carried him to the kitchen, out of Dean's earshot. The older Winchester gurgled to himself as he then played with a teddy bear, hugging it to his chest, oblivious to anything else.

Setting Sam down on the table, the angel asked, "Sam, I'm becoming concerned about Dean. I have never experienced this before..."

"Me either, Cas. Maybe he just dove too deep into his littlespace? If not, then I have no idea what's wrong with him." Sam says.

Sighing, the angel relented his in questions, "I know, Sam. Perhaps we should go along with it? I don't know..."
