A Strong Refusal

Dipping his finger into some blue paint, Dean smiled mischievously and quickly crawled over to his Daddy, before painting a streak across the angel's cheek. It matched Cas' eyes, after all.

A first confused as to why his little one did that, Castiel broke into a smile, eyes crinkling at the corners. He didn't know what to say...only, "Thank you, I think."

Dean, however, was still working on his own painting. He wanted it to be perfect for Sammy and Daddy. Adding touches of blue, green, and a mix of the two for each member of the trio's eyes, Dean smiled to himself. It almost ready.

Giving his eldest space to work alone, something Cas knew Dean preferred, the angel moved himself to sit beside Sam. The taller's painting was dry, and was a nice rendition of outside. With cute flowers, grass, and a well-done sky.

Of course, Cas pretended not to know that, so he asked Sam, "What did you paint, little one?"

"Outside, Daddy! See, gwass, twees, and flowers." Sam explained, as he pointed to each thing on his painting, grinning happily.

"Oh." Castiel theatrically replied, before breaking into a warm smile, "It looks wonderful, Sam. You did great." the angel praised, ruffling the taller's hair and kissing Sam's cheek.

And soon enough, Dean's own painting was finished. Once it dried enough, the older Winchester held it up for his brother and daddy to see, a proud smile on his face. He had worked hard on it.

Castiel nodded in agreement, "It looks fantastic, little one." Kissing Dean's cheek, and ruffling the spiked, feathery hair, the angel's eyes flooded with affection for his baby boys.

Blushing a bit at the praise, Dean let out a small coo of happiness and put the painting back on the ground. Spending time with Daddy and Sammy was fun.

Sam smiled and wrapped his arms around Dean, giving him a loving hug. He was glad that Dean enjoyed being little, and that they had an awesome Daddy taking care of them.

Nuzzling against Sammy, Dean gurgled. Before they were little, the two rarely hugged. But now, it was all about hugs and showing affection. It was a nice change. And certainly one the older Winchester was growing immensely fond of.

Leaning up against his brother a bit, Dean sucked on his thumb as he waited for Daddy to make their breakfast. Usually it was him that made food for him and Sammy. But it felt nice for someone else to do it.

Turning around, with two plates of yummy food on them, Cas smiled softly as he placed them on the tray of his little one's highchair.

"You're welcome, little one." Cas rumbled fondly, as he started to help the two eat their breakfasts.

As usual, Dean was messy and got food all over his face and bib. But he was just a baby boy, he was still learning.

Sam was messy too, but not as much as Dean, as he was a toddler and could eat better than Dean. But he still let Dean be a big boy, sometimes.

Castiel smiled softly, blue eyes crinkling at the corners at his boys finishing all of their food. "Good job, Sam and Dean. You ate all of it," he praised, before getting a damp cloth and starting to wipe the mess from their faces.

Gurgling at the praise, Dean soon started to squirm at the angel wiping his face. He didn't like that.

Nodding, the angel replied, "It's alright, Sam. Let's get you changed." Removing both boys from their highchair, Cas carried both of them to Sam's nursery, setting Dean down on the soft carpet and laying the taller Winchester on the changing mat.

Looking around at Sammy's nursery, Dean babbled to himself and stayed put, not wanting to make Daddy mad.
