Katherine followed behind her. "If your looking for Garveel he is loading MacWatt on the ship. I think we might be leaving tonight he said. Um, can I ask you something... about Garveel?"

Naddy nodded, though she wasn't looking for Gavreel.

"Well um you've known him for a while and me being his apprentice and all... what is he like. I mean I've just met everyone and all and I still haven't got to talk to him a lot and..." She rubs the back of her neck blushing. "It's probably a stupid question..."

Naddy gave her a small smile.


"Gavreel is a very respectable man. Of course, he has his temper… he heavily dislikes it when his friends get hurt." She frowned, remembering Alistair. "His views on Peace and Justice cannot ever be swayed. I like that. Also, he likes ice cream… never gets tired of it." She smiled and then took out her ptd





"Officers, prepare the ship… we're sailing to Nassau." She said. She looked back at Katherine and asked "why are you asking about Gavreel? You like him?" Katherine teased her jokingly.

"What! No,no,no..." She says. "I'm his apprentice. I just want to do my best here and show my family that I can do this. And show my brother that he's not the only one that can be in the navy." She frowns. "Man I wonder if he's still on the island." she says t silently.

Naddy turned her head to Katherine


"Your brother? What's his name, do I know him?" As much as it pains Naddy, she doesn't memorize all the people in the Navy.


She fixed herself as she walked, made sure she had her weapons. She smoothed Gavreel's jacket on her skin. Sorry Gavreel, I'm stealing this for a while. She walked quickly, wanting to avoid Gavreel… and her father.

"His names Daniel but he goes by Mist. He went to a school about a year ago just for boys to train into the navy. He's a year younger than me but he treats me like I'm his little sister. You see for a long time the oldest in are families would always join the navy to carry on the family in the navy. I was suppose to be the one to continue it but my family didn't want me joining because I was a girl. They decided to send my brother instead to the school. I know they just wanted me safe, the want me safe so the family can live on through me." she laughs. "Sorry you didn't ask for my life story. Just forget all that. My brothers named Mist." she repeats.

Gavreel Sol

Gavreel was standing on the bow of his ship with his cape waving like a flag. He looked at the main building and sighed.


"Im sorry naddy...." He said "You are not supposed to Meet MacWatt"


He then looked back at the Navy officers behind him


"Set sail for the Navy headquarters" He said and the officers replied with a salute, Almost the entirety of the Naval fleet was leaving Tortuga for the navy h.q.


He then took out his ptd and called the navy captain in the base of tortuga


"Officer katherine will accompany Admiral Contun" after that he then stared back to the sea.

Naddy dragged Katherine along with her to her ship.


"I think it was a nice story… thank you for that, Katherine. I know your Gavreel's but, you're staying with me for now." Naddy smiled. "You may consider it as an act of theft." She boarded the ship and watched her crew fixing the sails. She looked over and saw the other Navy ships setting sail.


Well, We really dont have much use now that… MacWatt's captured. She sigh. She wondered when she'd see Gavreel again. They were all headed to the Base… but she'll ne headed for Nassau.

"Wait, why?" Katherine asked. Why would Naddy want with a Petty Officer like her. She hadn't done anything that helpful. She looks at Naddy. She couldn't help and admire her. She had just went through a hard crises and was still standing strong. Katherine didn't know if she could ever do that.

Naddy went to her office, ordering Katherine to come with her. The ship started moving, setting sail to Nassau. She still needed to scout the area and file a report regarding pirate activity.


They arrived at her office… it was simple, really. There was a desk, a cabinet with a couple of shelves. Paintings and photographs on the wall. There was Gavreel and Alistair.


"Chief Petty Officer Katherine, I'm promoting you to be my Lieutenant." Naddy turned around and smiled at her. She took a case from her table and presented to her a medal, indicating the position of Lieutenant.

Katherine looked at the medal with surprise. How could this be? Thought swam in her mind. "ADMIRAL! Um, are you okay? I mean you're fine but are you thinking clearly?" She shakes her head. "I just don't understand... Why? I haven't done anything to deserve this." She sighs not knowing what else to say.

Naddy let out a low chuckle.


"Potential, Katherine. Potential." She offered no further explanation. She walked towards her slowly and clipped it on her uniform. She let her hands run through her chest, fixing the wrinkles on her clothes.


"I believe in you, remember?" She smiled and walked back to her table. She sat down on her chair and sigh. She let her hands run through the papers on her desk.


"If you don't want it, I'd accept your resignation. But as of now, you are officially my Lieutenant."

"No, um, I'm honored admiral." She says with a smile saluting her. "I Lieutenant Katherine will do everything I can for you." She drops her hand. I thought came to her. "What about Garveel?" She knew Naddy didn't care but she was still curious of what he might think.

Naddy chuckled and winked at her.


"I think I can handle Gavreel, Lieutenant."


The admiral opened a folder, immediately going to work. She didn't want to think. She didn't want to let herself think. She'd bury herself in her duties and forget about herself.





"Retire to your quarters, Lieutenant. I expect to be woken when we reach Nassau." She dismissed the Lieutenant.

Gavreel Sol


Gavreel was standing on the bow as he watches the naval ships separate from the rest of the group, they are to return to their stations.


Gavreel sighed and went to his ship's brig. He looked at the Frozen MacWatt, the ice is practically unbreakable. He touched his head.


"You should been there for naddy" He said with a frustrated voice "You abandoned her and became a pirate"


He then kicked the ice making no dent and he then stormed back to the bow, it was his favorite spot in the ship. He sat with his legs crossed and delved into deep thought.

The smoke began to clear. Jekkel grabbed his telescope and scanned the area. He did not see much but he did manage to spot a ship. He managed to see the flag they were flying. It was the royal navy, to Jekkel's luck it did not seem as they have spotted him. "Now where are you heading too," He thought to himself. With the course there on it looks like they are heading to Nassau. Jekkel bit his lip and was pondering their course. "That ship is a lot faster than mine plus port Nassau is a very interesting place, But there is a Navy base there.... Ah screw it" Jekkel grabbed a little boarding tool. It was basically a musket with a grappling hook. Jekkel took aim and shot at the back or the ship. It managed to hook to something but he had no knowledge of what it hit. "Hope they don't mind this"

Naddy felt the jolt in the ship. She knew her ship like it was her own self, and either there were ice bergs, or something's wrong. She stood and walked to the deck. Most of her men were staring at it… something was hooked to the ship.


"What the hell?" She took out a telescope and eyed the ship. She took a step forward and extended her hand. Her Major handed her a megaphone. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" She called to the neighboring ship.

Jekkel was laying back in his hammock when he heard a loud noise. He looked up from his hammock to see some women yelling. "I don't think they liked that" Jekkel bite his lip trying to think of an excuse. After a minute of thinking, he had it "My sail is ripped!"He yelled at the top of his lungs. He glanced back to his sail, It was not ripped. Jekkel quickly fixed this he grabbed one of his flintlocks and shot his sail, this put a nasty tear in the sail.

Meanwhile , in the middle of the ocean.


Bruno looked over his ship from the wheel with pride , seeing the hard working crew of the Rose. Some of them started a song 'William Tailor.' As they cleaned a cannon , one of them grabbed a flute from the wooden ground started playing , the other grabbed a guitar and played along with the song.


The ship's sails were dropped as they started to move, as the repair of the ship had been complete. The ship moved slowly as the wind caught the sails.


The sound of the sea combined with the song for a harmony.

Naddy raised an eyebrow at what happened. What a weird fellow. She decided. She tucked her telescope back where it belongs and turned around.


"Prepare a resuce team, get him off that ship. I want to meet this man. Be careful with him, and make sure we bring his ship to the nearest port for repairs… it doesn't have to be in Nassau, just get it done." She ordered her major.





"Yes, Admiral." The major saluted and sent men in life boats to retrieve the man on the other vessel.

Jekkel watched from his hammock as the boats approached his little boat. "I did not expect that to work luck I guess" He gave a small grin. The boats inched slowly closer. It was about 5 minutes later when they finally reached their destination, Jekkel. Of course, Jekkel still lied in his hammock. He did not move until he heard a low voice "We are here to assist you sir" Jekkel looked up to find a few rowboats and some men from the royal navy. "Thank you, gentlemen," He said while getting out of his hammock. As he left he grabbed his four flintlocks, his hat, and his sword. "Ok men lets go." After another 5 minutes, they were on another ship. The ship was beautiful but that's not why Jekkel was there. He scanned the area some more to find the captain. "Ah hello there," He said while approaching her. Jekkel noticed he has seen this captain before, then he realised it was an admiral of the royal navy. He started freezing up but he managed to make his way in front of the admiral. He was deathly afraid that she would notice him. Jekkel did not have a big bounty but he was known fairly well or at least by the rich the rich look greatly down upon him for he stole only from the rich and gave some of his loot to the poor but it was still a crime. "Oh umm, H-hello thanks for assisting me (Cough). Jekkel was acting very awkward at this moment he was biting his lip and trying not to make eye contact. "Jekkel your screwing this up at this rate she will know you are a pirate.

The Rose sailed close to the two ships, it's slow speed lumbered closer as it attempted to sail past. The sails suddenly drop as Bruno shouts commands of defense and stopping.


something about those two ships unsettled him, then again, almost any ship near his unsettled him. He unsleathed a scope, holding it close to his eyes as he examined both of them, one seems to have a ripped sail.

Katherine heard Naddy yelling and came out to see the commotion. "Admiral what is the problem." A man was there that she had never seen before. "Uh, Admiral is everything alright?" she asks rather confused.
