Naddy shook her head. She couldn't accept what MacWatt said, simply because she doesn't believe it.


"I don't know and I don't care about what happened to you, and made you think that. You lost your way… and possibly your mind." Naddy managed to smile a little. "And you're right… almost. All of man have their darkest secrets, their deepest sin." Her own mind raced, thinking of her own life. "But there will always be people like me, who believe in keeping the peace and uphold justice to evildoers, who dont blindly obey orders and act according to the law. The Law. Which I believe, you've broken multiple times, MacWatt."





Moving with her lightning speed, she took her pistol and fired it at him, aiming for his chest, knowing that he could easily dodge anyway. She charched towards him a split second later, sword at hand, aiming for his head.

MacWatt instinctively got out of the way in time, pulling out his own sword, and met Naddy's own blade in a split second before it would've hit his own head.


"Such passion! I love it! Reminds me of someone I knew! In fact, yer face looks familiar, too. Have we met, before?"

She clenched her jaw, clearly annoyed. She moved her sword back and striked again, quicker this time. She held her stance and watched his every move.


"Impossible. If I've met you before, you wouldn't be free and roaming today."

"Pfft. Sure, that's what they say..." MacWatt laughed. He quickly leaped out of the way and froze the sword to Naddy's hand, leaving the balde enclosed in a giant ice block. "What's yer name, poppet? Maybe that'll jog me memory of how I've seen yeh before."

Naddy hissed in annoyance, letting her lightning flow through the sword, melting the ice. Her eyes blazed as she lunged for MacWatt again, aiming for his abdomen.


"The name's Bernadette Contun, try remembering it this time!" She exclaimed.

The surroundings then froze.. Gavreel was nowhere to be seen and then a voice spoke up


"The thing called "justice" changes its shape... Depending on where you stand"


"and there is a big difference between you and me..MacWatt" A voice like gavreel said "You can change the temperature of the water and turn it into ice, but I... I am ice"

Naddy stepped back, panting. She held her sword and never left her eyes on MacWatt. She shivered as everything turned into ice. Tortuga's really turned into a frozen land. She managed to joke to herself. She made a mental note to tease Gavreel with it later.

Katherine made a small fire in her hand and melted Naddy's sword. It took a lot but she was able to melt it off. She pulls out her sword and lights it into a flame. "What do we do now?" she asks glancing back at Garveel.

"Bernadette...Contun?" MacWatt gasped. He just realized why the girl looked so familiar. Ignoring the sudden change in temperature and the arrival of the other Navy dogs, he focused his complete attention on Naddy.


"It couldn't be...no it's not true, it can't be true!" MacWatt grabbed his head and fell to the ground on his knees, tremblings. "Girl," MacWatt began slowly. "What is yer mum's name?"

Dumbfounded, Naddy stared at him. She wont strike down a man who isn't ready to fight.


"What's it to you?" She grit her teeth. "Her name was Zenaida Contun. What, would you have me name my entire family for you?!"

Gavreel's head came out of the ice and glared at Macwatt


"What are you doing?" He thought to himself, he then turned to ice again.


The ice slowly creeping towards MacWatt, it eventually reached his legs and it was restrained, the ice was now climbing up his body.

"Zenaida..." he whispered to himself. A solitary tear rolled down his eye as he said softly, "Ain't irony cruel, my daughter?"

Just after MacWatt said the last word he was no fully encased in ice.


Gavreel then went to his human form and walked towards MacWatt then to Naddy

Katherine looked at Macwatt with surprise. Naddy was he's daughter. This was almost getting to much for her, she looks up at Naddy. Then at Garveel. "I don't know. It seemed kinda real to me?." It could've been a lie but the way he acted looked so real and MacWatt didn't seem like the acting type.

just after Naddy hit Katherine, she then fainted, Gavreel caught her and then looked at Katherine.


"Bring her back to her room in the base" She said as navy officers begun to flood

Naddy woke up in her room. It was quiet and cold. She let her memories run through her head. She cried.


"Gavreel?" She called… but she was alone. She didn't want to be alone.

[Sir Monsieur]

In the middle of the ocean there lay a man sleeping in his hammock. This man was a particularly peculiar man but that did not bother him one bit. This man was named Jekkel, Jekkel Flint. He was an inventor, Not the most successful inventor, a lot of his inventions have either been stolen or blew up but Jekkel he was very close to a breakthrough you see. He was making a special black powder (Gunpowder) This powder was 10x more explosive than Regular powder. Of course, Jekkel was working on some other projects but we will talk about that later.


Jekkel woke up, sun shining, the salty scent of the sea and the nice spray of the ocean. He had to cover his eyes from the glare of the sun. Jekkel let out a loud yawn and slowly got out of his hammock. He looked over the horizon, The wind made a swift change from North to South "Well that's odd" He thought to himself. As he examined some more he noticed some dark clouds "Those do not look too friendly" He thought some more about the weather but quickly put the thought beside him, he was more interested in his black powder.


Jekkel walked across his little boat into the tiny captain's area. This is where he kept all his blueprints and such. He managed to find his vile of powder. He started pouring various powder and a solvent or two then he was ready to test his experiment. He took the vile and ran out of the cabin. Jekkel struck a match and placed it on the powder. Nothing happened "What this makes no" In mid sentence it exploded. Smoke everywhere, the boat had some minor burn marks and Jekkel lost his sideburns. He swatted away the smoke and coughed. The explosion could be seen from miles. "This might not end well."

Katherine rushed into Naddy's room. She was walking back from the infirmary, getting her hand bandaged up, when she heard her cry she opens the door and takes a step inside. "Admiral is everything okay?" She wondered if she remembered anything that happened. After she stopped her from killing MacWatt she had hit her hard in the face bruising the corner of her eye a little. Then she fainted, with the lack of sleep and all the stress it's no wonder the admiral did. Katherine was the least likely person she probably wanted to see but Garveel wanted her to keep an eye on Naddy until he returned.


"Do you need anything?" she asks in a soft voice.

Naddy looked at the door and saw Officer Katherine. She gave her a small smile and she sat up, moving slowly. She pat the space beside her, gestured for Katherine to sit down with her.


"Pathetic." She laughed at herself. "Aint it funny how fate plays with our lives?" She wiped her tears away.


"Thanks for knocking me out. It was probably for the best."

She sits down. "Sorry admiral but I didn't knock you out, you... That's not important." She looks at the ground placing her hurt hand on her lap. "Um do you remember what happened? Garveel wanted to ask as soon as you got up."

Naddy smiled sadly. She took Katherine's injured hand.


"A double edged sword is something you shouldn't hold, Katherine." She managed to smile. "I know someone who can fix this. She's probably at the Medical Bay, you should ask Alistair to take you to her."


Naddy frowned slightly at her other question.


"How could I forget something like that?" She sigh. "I killed my father in my mind a long time ago. He wasn't alive. Fate must like playing with me, though, cause here he is. James MacWatt." She grit her teeth. "I wont forgive him."

"Look I know it's ruff right now and all but don't worry MacWatt will pay for his crimes." She sighs. "You probably hate, don't you. I mean for stopping you from killing him. It's just.." She stands and walks over to the window. The sun shines brightly over the sky. "I'm not out out for this, Ive been her for what three days and all I've done is caused trouble. I'm sorry for that and really MacWatt will pay. Garveel is taking care of him as we speak."

Naddy stood up too, walkinh towards the Officer.


"Dont be too hard on yourself." She pat her shoulder. "When I was a Major, I sunk the Captain's ship." She let out a chuckle at the memory. It felt like it was just yesterday.





"Don't worry too much, Katherine. I believe in you." Naddy smiled and walked out the door. "I've been asleep for too long."
