Naddy stood at the door, dumbfounded. He's going to be mad. She decided in her head.


"Elpis… why?" She asked. She doesn't know how to react to the situation at hand.

"You'll don't understand Naddy . I can't explain it , it's too ... complicated . I think i'm like Gavreel ... i lost control of myself , too much anger . " She paused and looked Naddy in the eyes , Elpis didn't regret a thing but what she does made Naddy sad and it was her fault . She wanted to apologize ... " I begin to find my sanity but i apologize that you have to see such a thing ... I feel so strange I, I have just killed this garbage but I feel more quiet than I shall be. "


She looked at Katherine and at Alistair with a sad look then smiled sincerely : " Forget all this. I am going to clean everything and go to the shower"


But she trembled : everyone will think that she is a monster or a psychopath. She did not want to lose these people

Bernadette watched Elpis walk away. She covered her mouth as she turned her eyes to the pirate, again. She didn't fancy the smell of blood, very much.


"What to do?" She asked herself, barely a whisper. The price of piracy was death, anyway, right? To be lynched. But… was this murder? She couldn't decide. She couldn't think properly. All she could think of is how… why Elpis did what she did.





"Katherine… please take charge, I-I need to sleep on this." She said quietly, keeping her composure.





"And Alistair, please… rest." She walked away to her chambers.

As usually,

Alistair was the most controlled person in the room. If he had been on his full health,he would have cleaned the mess himself. But since he could barely stand upright,he asked one of the soldiers to help Elpis with the blood.


"Make sure there are no traces left,soldier. Elpis,please come have have a talk with me once you are done."





I don't want to anyone else to feel so disturbed by these happenings...





He struggled to return to the medical bed,falling on it with a light grunt. @CharmyPie @Mircure

'Forget about." Katherine says to herself as everyone walks away. She clenches her fist and a burst of flame forms. She waits until the flame is completely out. Despite not wanting to see the body Katherine tells the soldier to dispose of the body and she would clean up the blood. She hated the sight of blood, but she felt like she hadn't helped at all since she gotten her so this was just a way to help out a little. She grabs the soapy water and begins cleaning the blood off the floor.

Elpis saw Katherine and the soldier cleaning her errors. She knew that Katherine did not feel well with so much blood. She taken a sponge and also began to rub:


" If you want you can go, it is my fault and i don't care about all that ... blood "

She watched from far above, where no one, but mother nature's wrath could reach her. She just arrived at Tortuga migrating from Nassua, and already she sees nothing, but absolute chaos. She heard there was a large Navy fleet here, but she didn't expect almost 2 fleets or more size of it. She looked to land at an ally, so she could shift in privacy.


-Few minutes-


She comes out, a beautiful woman in similar pirate clothes, but looks are deceiving. She's traveled for all her life, searching to where she would belong. She's been a pirate a couple time, but the more merciful ones and not the gore kind. She walks about town, wondering if she could find another pirate crew to join or even try for the Navy.

Elpis ended to clean everything in a total silence. Katherine refused to speak to her, Elpis understood. Alistair had told him to go find him but she needed time to think, that made too long that she had not been alone with her consciousness.


She taken a small corridor to arrive at a door which to lead towards the shore. She opened the door and a big fresh wind blew. The sand warmed her feet and the salty smell of the sea relaxed her.


"Rather than go to the shower, why not go swim a little"


The cold water went into her clothes but she didn't care, everything was so peaceful . The blood began to make a red circle around her and she decided to just float in the waves .

It wasn't long until the small boat appeared on Tortuga's horizon,the black flag quite distinct against the bright sky. There were rumors of weird happenings around the city. Apparently the weather was going crazy and random places were completely frozen and then went back to be normal water.





None of that really bothered Haru. As far as he was concerned,his work as a slave wouldn't change no matter what. So he simply had to keep quiet and do his job. He didn't like it,but that was his life.


Once they were out of the boat,his master tossed some clothes to the ground. Haru picked them up and allowed his tail to turn into legs. He wasn't chained,but he didn't have to be. Any magic word from his master could make him obey completely.


"Slave,pick those bags. We're going into town."


Haru hesitated for a moment,looking at the city. He noticed a girl lying by the water next to them,but quickly turned back to his master.


"But master,it could be dangerous. We don't know what was causing tho-"


"Are you questioning my orders?"


The man's words went through his mind,removing any conscious thoughts that Haru could have. His eyes lost all shine,becoming completely dead.


"No,master."


"Then pick those bags and follow me."


Haru did as he was told,dragging the bags along with him. He didn't complain,didn't feel anger. The mind control kept him from showing any reaction. @Mircure

She walked about, the town seemed awfully quiet. As she came closer to the docks, she saw a man with a young man following behind with armful of bags. Sonia's jawline tightened, she hated when people treated others like pets/slaves. As she began making her way towards the pair, she also spotted a girl floating in a circle of blood. Sonia was now torn, should she go save the girl or the poor young man, seemingly under another's control? @Mircure @Rukia

Even in the middle of the water, Elpis could not have her tranquillity. A boat passed near her and failed crushed her . She heard not very nice voices go out from there: "Slaves, pick those bags, we' re going to town".


This sentence attracted its curiosity. The slavery was not recently forbidden? What made this man was illegal and I do not even imagine what as has to endure the person treated as slave.


She kept pretending to sleep, the half closed eyes and saw a young man go out with a tail of fish before having two legs and of taking bags. A Mermen?! Elpis couldn't tried to calm down anymore, make that rare and magnificent species used as slave infuriated her.


She noticed that the boy had seen her, his eyes was abnormally empty of emotion. She waited that steps goes away little to come out of the water and follow the small group:


" My superiors are going to get angry, especially after what I made. But I am a member of the Navy and I cannot let this unfair kind of thing happen "


Her wet clothes slowed down her running but she managed to stay in a good distance without getting noticed.


She didn't noticed the other woman , looking at her terrified.

She did not hesitate to follow the young girl and the man with slave. She was relieved to know that the girl was ok, but now her attention was on the man. She began to run, passing the girl who was slowed down by her drenched clothing. As she passed, she gave smile, before soon catching up with the pair. "Hey you sir, may I have a word with you?" She inquired flirtatiously, stepping in the man's line of sight. She was going to buy herself time, till she can figure out a way to free the young man. @Rukia @Mircure

Haru didn't react,as if no one had interrupt their paths at all. His glance was emotionless,and he didn't seem to be able to hear anyone. But his master had a dark smile in his face,eyeing the woman up and down once she came come to them.


"With you? I have as many words as you'd like."





He immediately stepped forward and grabbed her waist,pulling her closely.


"Are you doing this for money? I have money."

As much she hated the man with his dark smile and then having the nerve to touch her and ask her that kind of question, she kept her composure. She blushed lightly, smiling seductively as her hands roamed the man's chest. "Hmm, I only need a few coins." she replied, nipping the man's jawline in a naughty way. "Though of course, we need somewhere with more...privacy." she winked, pulling away; she beckoned the man with her fingers as she walked, swaying her hips out.

Elpis facepalmed . Why this woman had gone directly to the enemy? What did she believed , that they were friendly going to give her them slaves? She could not remain any more discreet and made a step forward to look impressive .


She took her most serious voice but because of her bathing she floated in her clothes and seemed even younger and smaller than usually. She curses herself to had the idea to go out of the base. Now sh ewas stuck in front of bandits with for only allied a too optimistic young woman . Why am I so unlucky ?


The girl has her sides was less stupid than Elpis thought. While she distracted the men, Elpis took by the hand the young man and left in an alley not far. The men did not notice it, thanks to her discretion.


" Do not worry, you are now safe. "


She really hoped that the other person was going to arrive, Elpis was not good with social interactions.

She internally face palmed, This girl just had to ruin the plan. She patted the man's shoulder, "Let me handle this." Sonia took the girl by the wrist & dragged her off to an ally way not too far off. Releasing her, she scolded, "Look here kid, what were you thinking was your doing, I'm was trying to distract the guy & then attack him to free the slave." She crossed her arms, not caring that she was scolding a young Navy recruit; she peeked around the bend, making sure the man was still there. @Rukia @Mircure

The man held Sonia tightly,kissing her neck with a smirk.


"Do a good job and I'm giving you your coins. Let's see if you are a good girl."





He frowned with confusion once she walked away,then looked around and realized that his slave had disappeared. He growled with anger,trying to find them.


Haru was pulled forward by a small girl,his expression completely empty. He didn't notice that he was being moved away,and didn't meet her glance when she spoke to him. He was still being mind controlled,so he remained mute and numb to the outside world. Until the spell was broken,he wouldn't be back.

Going through the back allies, she was able to find the girl, dragging the young man. "Young miss, wait!" She jumped in front of them. She knew by looking in the young man's eyes that he was under some sort of spell," He's not out of the woods yet, look at his eyes. It's obvious he's being controlled, under a spell." She pointed out. She let it sink in,"Look the moment I had that man alone, I would've ended him & the spell would've no longer held on him. Now what do you suppose on doing?" she asked the girl, wondering if the young Navy had any plans at all. @Mircure @Rukia

Unguardedly, Elpis slammed the face of the boy thinking that that would wake him maybe.


" Oh my god, I made what? I am really sorry, is it OK? ... Prostitued madam , come to save from myself" she asked at the woman with a desperate look .

The woman was shocked at this little lady's behavior, she hissed when she slammed the poor young man's head,"What the bloody hell are you doing?!" She grabbed the girl, pushed her into the brick wall and had her in an arm lock. "Calm down, now your going to stay here, while I take the..." Looks back the the supposed Merman, "...Merman back to his owner. Let me do my thing and he will be free. Do I make myself clear?" She said, keep her tight hold on the girl until she nodded or said something. She didn't want it to end like this, but this girl is barely making sense and it seems it's up to Sonia to take matters into her own hands. @Mircure @Rukia

Haru fell straight to the ground once he was slapped,not getting up from there. The spell couldn't be broken by pain,he had been slapped many times by his owner while in that state before.

Elpis looked Sonia straight in the eyes and answered: "No. I shall not leave. " She did not feel so much threatened after what the pirate had made her and she quite trusted herself when she said :


" I maybe look stupid and useless like that but it is just because I have to speak to somebody. For the rest, I manage. If what you say is true, we kill the jerk who is in control of this boy and everything will be settled. "


Elpis did not yet want to look like a psychopath but it was all that she could make to help.


"I'm just asking you to take him away from his mens "


She took a big breathe. Her eyes was filled with determination: " Then I'll handle the rest "
