A new life

[Sequoia]

Alice nodded. She grinned coyly. "And your bed Mr. Dobson?"

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Depends on where you want to wake up at," Kevin said smiling gently. Looking at Alice gently he said, "If you want to sleep in my place you are going to need your trunk."

 

[Sequoia]

Alice grinned and flicked her wand. Her trunk appeared next to her. "I hate the girls in my dorm anyway." She ran towards the London door. "I want London tonight!"

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Ok, go in. I'll be right back with your trunk," Kevin said as he made his way up the pipe they had come through.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice nodded and jumped on the bed, bouncing and laughing. She sat up and wrote a quick note to Snape, her head of house, informing him she had changed her sleeping arrangements. She got an "ok" in return and smiled. She spent time waiting for Kevin by stretching out her back and using her wand to decorate the room a bit.

Kevin returned to his room finding Alice changing the scenery. Looking at her he said, "You like it better this way?"

 

[Sequoia]

She looked at him. "Yes, it was too....dark and manly before." She sat on the bed and patted next to her.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Alice, it was like this when I bought it," Kevin said honestly. Looking at her gently, he got on the bed and laid down beside her.

 

[Sequoia]

She smiled and cuddled up to him. "You don't mind...do you?" She asked, picking at a loose thread in his robes.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Not really," Kevin said holding her against his body gently. Looking at her he said, "You ever thought about starting a family in the future?"

 

[Sequoia]

Alice's eyes grew misty. "Yeah...I've always wanted a little girl and a older boy...The girl's name would be Marie, after my late Mum." She sniffed.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"How about starting one with me," Kevin said taking off his top to reveal a finely toned abdominal region. Laying back down he kissed Alice's lips gently and then said, "Goodnight my beloved."

 

[Sequoia]

Alice didn't know how to respond. "Did...did you just...propose to me?!?!" She asked, sitting up right. She flicked her wand again, automatically switching her clothes to her short nightgown.

Kevin was asleep. For once, he had fell asleep comfortably. As he slept he thought of Alice.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice sighed and pulled out her ponytail. She quickly brushed her teeth then lay down next to Kevin and quickly fell asleep. A deep, dreamless sleep.

Kevin woke up the next morning and did his morning exercises. Afterwards, he showered and got dressed in a business suit. Grabbing his cloak, he put it on followed by his backpack and waited for Alice.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice woke up and quickly showered, putting on her school robes. She used her wand to dry her hair and then curl it into smooth ringlets. She grabbed her bag with had her parchment and quills and joined Kevin. "Kev...what was that last night?"

 

[kevinhdobson]

"A proposal," Kevin said smiling gently. Walking to the pipe he said, "Hold onto my cloak and we will be up in a jiffy."

 

[Sequoia]

Alice did as she was told but glared at him. "We will be having words Mr. Kevin Dobson." She growled.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"About what," Kevin said as he climbed up the pipe. As he made his way up he was curious if she wanted to or not.

 

[Sequoia]

"About what kind of proposal that was! It wasn't proper and I was in my nightclothes Kevin! We're only fifth years!" She exclaimed, narrowing her eyes.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"It was only a question. Now I know and will make it nice and proper soon, I promise," Kevin said as he looked at her gently.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice kissed him deeply in the middle of the hall. "I'll give you my answer now." She kissed him again.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"So it's a yes," Kevin said kissing her deeply. Pulling out of the kiss he said, "Let's sit down to eat."

 

[Sequoia]

"Of course it is. I still expect a proper propsal." She smiled and sat in his lap, ignoring the stares. "We should get matching schedules..." she commented.
